~ Annoyed or Jealous?

Soon the weekend was over and the next evening arrived quickly, and surprisingly enough Wonwoo found himself at home, earlier than he usually came.

Right after he arrived, Jimin and their mysterious friend arrived. Eva ran towards Jimin as soon as she saw him, while Haneul surprisingly went to hug the unknown man, her said friend. "Koo! Missed you so much!" "Bunn, I missed you so much as well!" They both mumbled in each other's embrace.

Eva innocently and confusedly looked at both of them, while Wonwoo, for some reason got annoyed, when he witnessed the scene from the living room. Sensing the tense Wonwoo, Jimin walked towards him, "Oh you are also home Wonwoo. It's been a while." Jimin was a year older than him so they were on a first name basis but not too close, Jimin and Wonwoo shook hands while Wonwoo's eyes kept trailing the new man.

"Kook, introduce yourself, to our brother-in-law!" Jimin commented, when Wonwoo saw Haneul rolling her eyes.

"Oh right! Hello I'm Jeon Jungkook, the one you talked to on the call last night, by mistake?" Jungkook extended his hand for a handshake. "He is mine and Eul's childhood best friend, they were classmates as well. Also he is the CEO of the JJK fashion brand." Jimin added.

Wonwoo just nodded, and never said a word. Which was predicted by Haneul. She yet again felt disappointed that he didn't really care about her personal life. That's how he has been in these six months of marriage.

"Hello, Eva I'm your Mumma's and Chim Samcheon's friend, so you can call me Kook Samcheon." Jungkook said, waving at Eva, who was in Jimin's arms. She waved back, cutely smiling.

"Why didn't I meet you at the wedding?" She asked in her baby voice, curiously. Jungkook chuckled, as they all sat down on the couch,"Because I was far away in the states, that's why I couldn't come." Jungkook pouted, while Haneul chuckled and went into the kitchen to bring them all a glass of water.

When she was back, she handed them the water glasses, including Wonwoo because he was also back just now.

"Btw, how is everything going koo?" Haneul asked, sitting on the couch beside Jimin probably because she still remembers yesterday's incident of her dozing off on Wonwoo's shoulder last evening, by mistake. And how he reacted, she didn't want those unnecessary scenes happening in front of Jimin and Jungkook. "Everything is perfect, except I miss you so much." Jungkook exaggerated dramatically.

But on the other hand, Wonwoo was looking at Haneul without himself knowing, because she didn't sit beside him. He got up abruptly, getting everyone's attention. "You guys chat I'll go get freshen up." He said, his voice was extra sharp.

Haneul thought maybe he didn't like her calling Jimin and Jungkook home. But she shrugged it off.

"So how's Mumma treating you, Eva?" Jimin asked playfully tickling the little girl who was sitting between Haneul and him. "Mumma loves me so much" Eva replied giggling, looking at Haneul with so much love in her little doe eyes. Jungkook smiled and cooed at her, "Aw she is so cute~"

"Of course she is!" Haneul said, proudly ruffling her hair. When Eva reached out burying her face against Haneul's chest shyly, making everyone laugh at her adorable action.

"Eul~ just give her to me she is so cute!" Jungkook said scooting closer to Jimin's other side, reaching out and ruffling Eva's hair. "No, no I'm not going to give my daughter away to Anyone!" She said, hugging Eva closer to her chest, while giggling.

They didn't notice Wonwoo was already standing at the staircase. Looking at the scene, feeling kind of annoyed and jealous. 'I'm just getting jealous because my little princess is being clingy to them forgetting her own Dadda. Yes.'

He mentally reasoned his jealousy when deep down he knew, he was jealous at how Haneul was laughing and giggling with them, when with him all these times she has never once smiled with him except when they both are with Eva, let alone even called him with his name freely.

Soon including Wonwoo they all had dinner and Jimin and Jungkook started to leave bidding the three bye.

When they were gone, Wonwoo without any words went upstairs with Eva, Haneul frowned as she was always so used to washing dishes at night while talking and playing with Eva. She wouldn't lie but that action of his hurt her a little.

She quickly did her duties and went upstairs, to see Eva still up and playing with her plush toys. While Wonwoo was working on his laptop on the sofa seated in the corner of the room.

"Princess let's go now it's time to sleep, keep the toys away." Haneul said, going near the bed patting Eva's head.

The little girl pouted, "Mumma some more time. Please~" She pulled her aegyo card, showing puppy eyes knowing very well nor her father or Mother could say no to her. "Eva~" Haneul tried to ignore her cute acts, trying to be tough. "Please Mumma~" her small pout made Haneul melt but she had school tomorrow morning.

Haneul looked at Wonwoo who was looking at them, "Tell her, she has school tomorrow."

Eva was mischievous as always, got down from the bed, making her way to her father, but she tripped midway when Haneul was trying to stop her from running, she reached out to pull the little one in her arms, but froze in mid-way. Hearing Wonwoo's cold remarks.

"How can you be careless? Just because she is not your daughter? What if my daughter was hurt more badly?" He said, not even looking at Haneul, and checking Eva to see if she had any injuries.

Haneul froze and kept looking at Wonwoo, gulping down, trying to sooth her heart, which felt like someone just stabbed it with a sharp knife. How could he? Was she not being enough of a good mother?

When Wonwoo realised what he said, he glanced at her, he actually didn't mean to say that but with the earlier annoyance and jealousy on his mind he spat that in flow. But now he didn't know how to say anything to redo his mistake.

'You are such a jerk Jeon Wonwoo, she is doing everything a real mother would do for your daughter and you are acting like this and hurting her?' He scolded himself in his head.

"Dadda, I'm not even hurt anywhere, Mumma held my hand even before I could hit my face on the floor." Eva's little voice broke through the air, bringing them both back to reality. But Haneul quickly went to the bathroom, she felt sudden sickness in the pit of her stomach, the way he said those words. They sounded so full of hate to her. She didn't do anything purposefully.

'Jeon Wonwoo how more can you fuck up?' Wonwoo thought in his head, he felt like a jerk, when she was doing everything in her reach to take care of both, him and Eva, while all he ever did was hurt her.

After a while she came out, she looked like she was freshening up. His eyes followed her movements, he wanted to say sorry, that he didn't mean to say that. But he couldn't bring himself to do so. His ego didn't let him. Soon she got into the bed on the other side of Eva, the little one was quick enough to pull her close to her.

"Dadda come closer! I want cuddles from both of you!" Eva said, pulling Wonwoo's one arm and one Haneul's to herself, when their skin touched slightly, both of them felt tingly. Wonwoo scooted closer carefully.

Even with Eva between them they couldn't ignore that they could feel each other's warmth.

"Even though she is not my real daughter, I wouldn't want anything bad happening to her. And I do make sure to look after her just like a real mother." Haneul mumbled lowly, when Eva fell asleep, her eyes never left Eva's sleeping figure in between them.

Wonwoo bit his inner cheek, feeling guilty for saying something like that. He hummed, she yet again felt her stomach churning at his indifference.

She kept her palm patting softly, on Eva's small chest. Wonwoo mirrored her gesture right under her hand, on Eva's small tummy. While her small hands were holding onto both their thumbs in each hand.

"I... actually didn't mean that... It just got out in a spit." Wonwoo mumbled after a long pause. Haneul's eyes travelled to his face to find his eyes on her. She quickly averted her gaze, humming without any further words. Then no one spoke, Haneul and Wonwoo drifted off in the same position. ..Guys I did pretty well in exam for two days, I still have exams but when I'll get time then I'll post.
