Chapter 20

Ushijima immediately called a police and after making the call he tied Akio down who's still unconscious on the floor.

"Ushijima-san!"

"Senpai!"

Miko and Goshiki said at the same time.

"What happened to you?"

Ushijima asked when he saw Miko's arm with a bandage.

"Akio almost stabbed him but he managed to avoid him and instead Akio got his arm."

Goshiki said looking at Miko's arm

"It's not that deep, I'm okay. You should bring Tendou-san to the hospital and make sure he's okay. We will wait for the police here."

Wakatoshi nodded and carried Tendou. He gently put him on the passenger's seat and secured him with a seatbelt before sitting on the driver's seat and starting the car. He looked at Tendou who's still unconscious.

A few moments later, after Wakatoshi left the cafe the police arrived.

"Oh, Iwaizumi-san."

Goshiki said, he never thought that Iwaizumi would be the one responding to their call, Miko just nodded at him.

They pointed Akio who's already conscious. His face bleeding from the punch that he received from Ushijima.

Ah, his face is bleeding. Well, it was Ushijima who punched him. Iwaizumi remembered how strong Ushijima hit the balls when they were still players and it gave him shivers just thinking about getting punched by him.

The other police went and cuffed him, Iwaizumi made sure that they will treat Akio's wounds before he went and asked Miko questions which Miko answered willingly, he told him everything that he knew. He also told Iwaizumi about the messages, flowers and gifts that Tendou received from Akio.

"What happened to your arm?"

"He was about to stab me but I managed to avoid him but he still caught my arm."

"Okay, don't worry we'll handle this. Take care."

Iwaizumi said smiling and gave both of them a pat on their shoulders.

"By the way, send my regards to Ushijima and Tendou."

He said to Goshiki before leaving the cafe.

"You know him?"

Goshiki nodded. "He was a volleyball player too."

"Ohh okay."

"Let's start cleaning?"

Miko nodded and both of them started cleaning the cafe and when they finished they closed it, they wanted to go to the hospital but Ushijima said that both of them should rest since its also getting late so they decided to went home after they ate dinner together.

Ushijima just finished talking to the doctor about Tendou. The doctor said that he collapsed because of the pain he felt from being kicked and punched plus he hit his head on the table, she said that the impact from hitting his head  caused concussion and he needs to stay for the night.

Ushijima also got a call from Iwaizumi, he did not expect that Iwaizumi was the one who responded from his call. They talked for a while on the phone and when their conversation finished he went inside Tendou's room.

"Wakatoshi-kun."

Ushijima looked at Tendou and immediately hugged him, Tendou was slightly taken aback by the hug but then he smiled and hugged Ushijima too,gently patting his back.

"I'm - - -"

"I'm sorry for leaving you Tendou, I shouldn't have attended that event knowing the situation."

Ushijima said. Tendou gently shook his head.

"I'm safe now, you saved me so everything is okay."

"But what if I arrived late? I don't even know what I will do if he did something worse to you."

Ushijima clenched his fist when he remembered Akio unbuttoning Tendou's shirt. Tendou caressed Ushijima's face, Ushijima avoided his eyes but Tendou held Ushijima's chin, lifted his face once again and gave him a kiss.

"I'm safe now Wakatoshi-kun, there's nothing to worry about."

Tendou smiled and slightly winced when he felt the cut on his lip that he got from Akio's punch.

Ushijima looked at him and gently kissed the bruises that Tendou got and hugged him.

"By the way how's Miko?"

"Akio also attacked him but he said he's okay, I said that he should get home and have some rest."

Tendou nodded.

"How about you Tendou? what are you feeling now? does your head still hurt?"

"A little bit, but the dizziness is gone now. I'm kinda hungry though."

Tendou chuckled and it made Ushijima smile.

"You finally smiled." Tendou poked Ushijima's cheek. "Stop worrying okay?"

Ushijima sighed and nodded, he stood up. "I'll buy you something to eat, wait here okay?" He said, leaning down to kiss Tendou's forehead. Tendou nodded, when Ushijima's already out he laid back on his bed and touched his head, there's a bandage on the left side of his forehead.

I'm glad everything is okay now. 

A few minutes later Ushijima came back bringing take out foods.

"Hey baby how are you?"

"I'm fine babe, just got back in the office."

"I heard about what happened. Is Tendou okay?"

"Yeah, I called Ushijima earlier and he said Tendou's staying at the hospital for the night."

Iwaizumi can hear Oikawa let out a relieved sigh. He smiled.

"Do you want to visit him?"

"Oh,  maybe once he get back to the café. We should visit them together."

"Okay if you say so."

"Are you going to eat dinner at home?"

"Of course, I'll be home in a few minutes, I'll sort things out here in the office first."

"Okay. Bye take care okay?"

"Yes baby."

Iwaizumi smiled and ended the call.

"Hey Wakatoshi-kun come here." Tendou said, patting the bed. Ushijima came to him immediately.

"Why?Do you need something? are you feeling any pain right now? "

Tendou was shocked at the sudden questions, he smiled and pat Ushijima's head. "Let's sleep together."

"Oh, are you sure? The bed is small."

"It's okay, I want to hug you, so come here."

Tendou moved and gave Ushijina a space to lie on. Ushijima removed his shoes and get on the bed, he shifted so that Tendou can lie down too.

"It's pretty cramped but it's okay. As long as I can hug you." Tendou grinned and moved closer to hug Ushijima.

Ushijima also wrapped his arm around Tendou protectively.

"Sleep tight my cinnamon."

Ushijima said and Tendou immediate looked at him when he heard Ushijima's endearment. Ah, he's embarrassed. He thought when he saw Ushijima's ears turning red. I want to kiss him right now but my lips hurt like hell. Curse you Akio. He frowned.

Ushijima seems to notice that Tendou is staring so he kissed Tendou on the forehead a few times before hugging him again.

"Ah, I love you so much Wakatoshi-kun."

Ushijima looked at him and smiled. "I love you too Tendou."

Since Tendou still can't sleep, he asked Ushijima questions about the event, they talked for the entire hour until Tendou felt tired and eventually fell asleep.

The next day the doctor advised them that Tendou can be discharged but he should still get some rest because it is possible that he will  experience dizziness and headaches.

When they got back to the café Miko already opened it for them.

"Welcome back! How are you Tendou-san?"

"I'm okay now. Thank you for calling me last night."

"I shouldn't have left you alone yesterday."

"It's fine don't think about it. By the way your arm, are you sure it's okay?"

"Yeah, the wound is not that deep so it's okay, also Goshiki said that he's free today so he is willing to help."

Ushijima nodded and brought Tendou upstairs.

"You should rest today."

"I'm fine Wakatoshi-kun, I can help in the cafe."

"Tendou, don't be stubborn and just rest, you heard what the doctor said."

Tendou looked at Ushijima, defeated.

"Okay fine, I'll stay here."

"Good."Ushijima smiled and kissed his forehead before going down. Tendou sat on the couch and sighed.

He took his phone and scrolled through the messages, he can finally delete all Akio's messages and call logs on his phone.

Finally, peace. He thought and smiled.

-----Ha! Imagine getting punched by Wakatoshi. Akio can relate.
