Chapter 19

After eating, Tendou and Ushijima went to their room. They are snuggled under the blanket.

"How did Miko knew about Akio?"

"He said that at first he never really think about him being a stalker, be just thought that he's a normal customer. But then he noticed that every time he goes to the cafe he always look at you and he also saw Akio outside the café. That's when he started getting suspicious. "

" I never saw him order something though. "

" I think he doesn't want you to know that he's there, Miko said that he only orders when someone else is assigned on the counter but when it's you, he just stand outside the café."

" Ohhh. "

Ushijima sighed and run his fingers on Tendou's red locks and gave him a forehead kiss.  Tendou smiled and pressed his body closer to Ushijima.

" Good night Wakatoshi-kun. "

" Mn, goodnight Tendou. "

A few minutes later, Ushijima can hear Tendou's soft snores indicating that his boyfriend is already sleeping, but he still can't sleep. He's worried.

It's been two weeks since Tendou told Ushijima about Akio, he stopped coming to the café but the messages, and gifts did not stop coming.

Tendou ignored the messages and calls but as the days went by it started to bother him and also Ushijima.

There are days that Tendou would receive a box with his pictures on it, sometimes there are letter or notes included inside saying that he really adores Tendou.  Sometime he would receive bouquet of flowers. But the thing that bothers him are the images that Akio sends to him from time to time. It feels like Akio is there everywhere he goes, watching his every move.

"Tendou-san you should report this to the police."

Miko said, looking at the new messages. They are currently attending the café, just the two of them. Ushijima was invited to an event, he wanted to decline it since the event is not held in Tokyo but Tendou insisted that he should attend because it can help more in his business.

" I also thought of that, but we don't even know where he lives."

He sighed, there are only few customers today because of the bad weather. Ah, it's raining since this morning. He jolted when his phone rang, he looked at the caller ID and it showed Ushijima's name and it made him smile.

"Hello cupcake."

Miko looked at him with disbelief. "cupcake? really?"

Tendou just brushed him off and went to the corner.

"What did you call me?"

"Cupcake."

Tendou chuckled and he can also hear Ushijima's soft laugh at the other end of the line.

"How are you?"

"I'm fine Wakatoshi-kun."

"Nothing happened right?"

"Nope, everything is fine here, well, except for the messages."

Tendou sighed.

"Miko should sleep there, so that you won't be alone."

"It's okay Wakatoshi-kun, besides it's not like he will barge inside our place. Miko also told me that he's going out with his friends later."

Tendou said and glanced at Miko who's taking the orders.

Ushijima sighed, Tendou can be stubborn sometimes. He thought.

"Okay, just make sure to lock everything."

"I will. Oh by the way how's the event?"

"It's okay. Nothing really happened here. "

They suddenly became quite.

"I want to go home. I want to see you Tendou."

Tendou laughed.

"It's only been 5 hours since you left Wakatoshi-kun."

"Actually, the main event already finished and we can go home if we want to but it's raining so hard, I'm stuck here."

Tendou looked outside and just like what Ushijima said the rain is getting heavier.

"Don't drive if the rain is not stopping okay? It's dangerous."

"Mm. Wait someone called me."

"Okay, I also need to help Miko."

"I will end the call now."

"Okay Wakatoshi-kun. take care."

When the call ended Tendou put his phone inside his pocket and went back to help Miko. The rain is still pouring hard, he frowned.

"Did the forecast said that it's going to rain today?"

"I don't know, maybe. I don't really watch weather forecasts."

Tendou looked around the café, trying to check if Akio is among the customers who are dining inside, but he did not see him. I'm glad he's not coming in the café anymore.

Tendou looked at the clock and it's already quarter to five, the rain finally stopped pouring. He looked at Miko who's busy typing on his phone.

"Miko."

"Yes?". He answered without even looking at Tendou.

"Who are you texting?"

"Oh Goshiki-kun. We're meeting up later."

"Eh, so you're talking about Goshiki when you said that you're meeting with someone?"

Miko nodded. "He said he wanted to show me something."

"You two got so close after working together huh."

"He's a nice guy."

Tendou nodded.

"You can leave early today Miko."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I can close the shop alone since there are only few customers coming so I can handle it."

"Oh, okay then."

Miko quickly went inside their resting room and change his clothes.

"Are you sure you'll be okay? what if he comes back?"

Tendou sighed and pat Miko's shoulders. "It's okay. Don't worry, I'm not that weak, don't forget I'm an ex athlete." He grinned.

"Okay if you say so, I'll go now."

Tendou nodded. He looked at Miko as he went outside the café. Tendou wants to close the shop early but since the rain stopped he thought that there will stil be customers coming and he was right but he managed to handle the café alone until closing time.

He was cleaning the cafe when he received a call from Miko.

"Hello Miko?"

"Akio. Akio's going there--"

The call was suddenly cut and he did not really heard what Miko said.

Then someone opened the door, he turned around.

"I'm sorry but we're alre---"

He stopped.

"Hello Tendou."

"What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to see you, I haven't visited for two weeks and I started missing you."

Akio said, walking forward while Tendou scooted back. Trying to keep his distance from Akio as far as he can. He looked at Akio, he is wearing dark blue jacket, cap, and mask. He can see both Akio's hands but he is still not sure if he did not bring any weapon.

What if he really brought one? Will he really hurt me?

"Akio why are you doing this?"

"Doing what?" Akio removed his mask and Tendou can fully see his face.

"Tendou, haven't I made it clear through my gifts and my letters?"

I did not read your letters and I am not planning to read it.

"I guess you really don't remember me, we met during elementary and we also met during that one photography exhibit."

Akio started walking around as he talked.

" I adore you so much and you're my favorite person."He grinned.

"You know, I love taking your pictures so much that seeing your boyfriend took a photo of you annoyed me." He closed the gap between them and held Tendou's chin.

"Do you know that you're bothering my life? I should have avoided you during that time. Just stop this Akio."

"What if I don't? what are you going to do Tendou?"

Tendou glared and launched a punch on Akio's face. Akio staggered and hold his chin, his lips busted from the punch.

He suddenly kicked Tendou on his stomach and it caught him off guard causing for Tendou to fall down and hit his head on the table.

Akio straddled Tendou and pinned him down, since the hit that Tendou received was pretty hard he lost his strength. He started getting dizzy too because of his head hitting the corner of the table.

"You're pretty Tendou, you have this unique features and I want to keep taking pictures of you everyday. I already adored you since we wer in elementary."

Akio said, caressing Tendou's face.

Ushijima is already in Tokyo but he's still far from the café, but somehow he got this uneasy feeling and he decided to double his spead in driving. When he arrived and parked his car in front of the cafe he notice something off, why is the café's lights turned off when the sign still said open?

So he carefully got inside he notice some of the tables are disarranged the first thought he got is Tendou. He heard something coming from the resting room so he went inside, he saw Tendou on the floor while Akio is on top of him trying to remove Tendou's clothes.

Ushijima, who is now filled with anger, grabbed Akio's shirt and throwed him to the floor, Akio was caught off guard that he was not able to react immediately. Ushijima took the chance and got on top of Akio and punched him on the face.

Tendou groaned and slowly opened his eyes, when he saw Ushijima he forced himself to stand up and stop Ushijima.

"Wakatoshi-kun.. Wakatoshi. Its okay. Stop he's already out."

Tendou looked at Akio who's face is already bleeding from the punches that he received from Ushijima. Ushijima stopped and removed his grip from Akio.

He never saw Ushijima get this mad that it scared him.

"Tendou--"

Tendou immediately hugged Ushijima, tightly. Ushijima hugged him back, he can feel Tendou tremble against his hug. Suddenly he felt that Tendou started losing balance and he collapsed, but Ushijima managed to grab him before he fall.
