Chapter 6

FLASHBACK

Tendou's second day itinerary is the town of Busay. He rented a motorcycle for him to easily go to different place since he learned from his first day that commuting is tiring and pretty confusing because you need to wait for the right jeep.

He reached his first stop, it is called   Sirao Flower Garden and Farm that is located in a hillside on a mountain baranggay.

"Maayong buntag  sir."

The staff greeted with a  huge smile.

He blinked, he was confused by the word.

"He said good morning to you."

A guy who's in line next to him suddenly said and smiled.

"Ohh...okay ... Maayong buntag too."

Tendou  greeted the staff back and grinned which made the staff chuckle. He was about to pay for his entrance fee when the guy next to him handed 200 pesos at the counter.

"Two tickets please."

"Okay sir."

The guy then gave him two entrance tickets and smiled.

"Ticket's on me, let's go inside."

"Uh. I can buy my own ticket though, I was about to pay for it." Tendou took one hunder pesos and handed it to the guy, who he doesn't know.

The guy chuckled. "No need."

But still Tendou insisted.

"Okay if you really want to pay me just, accompany me . Travelling alone is very boring and earlier I saw you asking someone to take your pictures. I can be your photographer, I can take some proper photos too."

He does have a point.

"I don't know you though."

"Oh! I'm sorry." The guy rubbed his nape.

He looked embarrassed.

"Akio Murakawa."

"Oh,you're a japanese too?"

"Yes. I'm really sorry for not introducing my self."

"It's okay, I'm Tendou Satori."

"So are you willing to accompany me?"

Tendou stared at him for a minute.

Well,maybe having a friend during this vacation is not bad. I have

"Okay, just be sure that you take proper pictures."

Akio laughed.

"You wanna test my photography skill now?"

"Hm later. Let's look around first. "

Tendou said looking around. The place is really pretty with all the colorful flowers such as ,chrysanthemum, daisy,aster, and sunflower . There's also mini windmills and  bicycle good for taking pictures. The flower garden is also dubbed as Little Amsterdam of Cebu City.

"What's the name of these flowers?"

"I think its called  celosia."

Tendou nodded and started taking down notes, he also wrote down the words that he learned. They kept on walking around the flower farm and the Tendou saw a perfect spot to take a picture he gave Akio his camera. 

"Now, let's check your ability."

He rode the displayed bicycle and posed. 

"Make sure to get it properly okay?"

"Don't worry I am confident with my skills."

Akio took few pictures of Tendou with different poses and from different locations. There's a photo of him with the flowers - but Tendou made sure that he didn't touch the flower or got too close to it- He also took a picture with the statue at the fountain. He literally made Akio his personal photographer. 

After strolling around the place, both of them are taking a rest at the bench. 

"Satisfied with my photography skills?"

Tendou laughed. "Yeah, not bad."

"You're pretty good in taking pictures too."

Akio said while looking at his own photos which Tendou too. 

"Hmmm."

"So why are you here?" Akio asked after a moment of silence, he noticed that Tendou slightly stopped at what he's doing.

"Vacation." Tendou simply said.

Akio nodded before standing up. "Hey you know what there's another place here just 100 meters away, Sirao Pictorial Garden & Camping Site, there are lot of things that we can do there. "

"Ahh yes, Im planning to go there after visiting this."

"Oh.. Good." Akio smiled. "Then, let's go together?"

"Uhm, yeah sure." 

Both of them went to Sirao Pictorial Garden & Camping Site together and this time Tendou insisted on paying for the ticket entrance and Akio didn't argue. 

"Oh wow, we can camp here."

"Are you planning to camp too?"

"Ah yes."

"Nice because I am planning too. Maybe we can share tents."

Tendou just shook his head and chuckled. There are also different colorful flowers here just like at the Original Sirao Flower Farm but there are more things that you can find and do here. There's a camping site there's also a pool. There are butterflies, bunnies and few bird species.

The roamed around the place, took lots of pictures from the different statues that they found inside. There's a giant hand statue where you can climb on top of it, you will stand on the palm of the giant stone hand and the background is very beautiful. Tendou immediately got on top of the gian stone hand and asked Akio to take pictures of him.

Akio asked him the same.

There are different spots in the flower garden where you can take beautiful pictures but Tendou's favorites are the Giant hand. The Nest, it's like a replica of a nest but it's huge and people can sit on it also there's a hug fake egg they also call it the dragon nest. The native swing is nice too. The place is really nice and he really felt relax being surrounded by flowets and nature.

Night time came and they already finished fixing their tents, Akio wanted to share tent but Tendou just said that he wanted his own tent Akio still insisted but Tendou just said that they can put their tent really close together that's why Akio agreed.

They went to have a night swim at the pool after eating dinner.

It was nice, today was nice. I feel light.

Tendou closed his eyes and smiled.

"What are you smiling at?"

Akio asked, they're already going back to their tents.

"Oh nothing. I really enjoyed today."

"Same, thank you for accompanying me Tendou."

"You're welcome and same to you too. You kinda, made this day fun." Tendou grinned.

"Goodnight Akio sleep tight."

"Goodnight."

Tendou then crawled inside his tent and zipped it up.

Tendou's laying flat on his back, staring at the pictures that he took today.

Akio's cute, and funny and nice. He knows how to take beautiful pictures. Tendou sighed. But, I still want to see you.

He closed his eyes. Even though he was able to forget Ushijima for the entire day because his mind was occupied but the moment he was alone and in silence his mind just instantly think of Ushijima and once again he's starting to miss him.

He returned his camera inside its bag and scrolled through his new Instagram account until he fell asleep.
