Moving In

There's this thing that Bradley never mentioned to her family. Her roommate, Jaden, is a guy. He's also her boyfriend. Okay, yes, Bradley should've told them, but in her defence, they would have freaked. They had been reluctant to even let her move out in the first place. 

Her and Jaden had already gotten their stuff moved in a few weeks ago, so they're pretty much ready to move in, it's just the little stuff they haven't gotten in yet. They had just finished putting the last bit of their things away when Jaden went into their room, admiring the amazing job Bradley had done with decorating the place.

"Hey, baby.", Bradley walked over and kissed him. He's 6'3", nine inches taller than Bradley, so she had to stand on her tip-toes. He's got an average build, but is the sexiest man she's ever laid eyes on.

Jaden held her hips. "The place looks great!", he tucks her hair behind her ear.

"You think so?", she turned around, him wrapping his arms around her, and over-looked her work, criticizing herself. "I don't know.."

"Bradley, it's perfect. Don't stress so much.", he kisses the top of her head and goes to the bathroom. "You did a great job!", he yells from the bathroom.

Bradley sighed and whispers to herself. "Yeah, you're right.", she walks into the kitchen and makes herself a sandwich. "On your way home tomorrow, can you pick up some bacon?", she yells to him. He walks in and grabs a beer from the fridge. Did I mention that he's 21? Another thing Olivia and Nick would have a field day with. 

"Yeah. Don't we have some?"

"No..I threw it out. It was gross looking."

"Gross looking? I just bought it.", he chuckles as he opens the bottle. 

"Well, it looked gross, so.."

"So, you've obviously never seen raw bacon before.", she hits his chest. 

"Shut up, have to!", she sat on the counter, picking the crust from her sandwich and eating it. Jaden smiles. "Hmm?"

"Nothing."

"Tell me!"

"Nothing, babe. You're just so cute sometimes."

"Sometimes?", she finished off the last bite and got down, getting dangerously close to him. "Not all the time?"

"Hmm..nah."

"Oh, I see how it is.", she wraps her arms around his neck and with his free hand, his around her waist. She was inches away from his lips, which brushed hers for a hot second before she kissed them softly. 

"Hey, so when are you gonna let me meet your family?", Bradley groans loudly.

"Mood killer."

"C'mon. They can't be that bad, can they?"

"Hmm..let's see..my parents are cops-"

"And you know I've always thought that was pretty cool."

"Yeah, well I don't. I mean, I do, I just don't find it all that interesting."

"Then why are you going into the academy?"

"I kind of..I changed my mind. I don't even think I want to go to college anymore."

"Uhm, yes, you are. I know you want to, Bradley, you've been talking about college, of any kind, since I first met your stubborn ass."

"You know I don't like that.."

"But you are! You're stubborn..", he kisses her. "..and you're cute when you're stubborn."

"I don't like that, either."

"You don't like complements? Since when?"

"Since now..", she sighs. Bradley hasn't been feeling herself lately. She's been pretty moody, to everyone, and the 'move' isn't a big helper. Her period is due in a few days and she's dreading it. 

Jaden threw his hands up in surrendering position. "Okay. I'm still meeting them, though."

"But they don't even know you're a guy.", she whines.

"And who's fault is that?", he hands her, her cell phone. "Call them and have them over for dinner tomorrow night."

"But-", she starts to protest. "Fine.", she takes the phone and dials Olivia's number. "But I won't enjoy it.", Jaden mouths 'just talk' and sits down on the couch.

Meanwhile, at the Benson-Amaro household, Nick is making pizza for dinner, upon Alex's request, and Olivia is keeping herself busy as she attempts to distract herself with her work. Her phone started buzzing on the bedside table and she was more than pleased to see "BRADLEY" appear on the screen.

"Hello?"

"Hey, mom. I've got a question."

She sits up in bed and moves her things to the side. "Yeah, anything."

"Jaden keeps telling me I should invite you guys over for dinner tomorrow night."

"Yeah..why is Jaden such a mystery? You never let us meet her."

"Yeah, I know. So, I was thinking, you and dad could come over for dinner tomorrow night so you guys can meet.", Olivia heard whispering in the background. "And Alex and Laney can come if you wanna bring them."

"Well, I'm sure having the kids over would-"

"Ow, ass!"

"Excuse me?"

"Not you, Jaden just elbowed me, insisting that you bring the kids."

"Well, do you want me to bring them?"

"Yeah, bring them."

"Alright. We'll see you tomorrow night."

"Okay, I love you. Tell everyone I said 'hey'."

"I will and I love you, too.", Olivia hung up and went to the kitchen.

Nick was in nothing but a pair of sweatpants and, god, did he look amazing. He had just taken the pizza from the oven and was about to cut it when Olivia put her hand on his back.

"Hey. You hungry?"

"Yeah, but I need to ask you something. Do you want to go over to Bradley's tomorrow for dinner? She just called and wanted all of us to come over to meet her roommate."

"You mean the roommate that she refused to let us near? I'd like to meet her."

"Her? Jaden is a guy, sweetie.", he dropped the pizza cutter and turned around.

"A guy?"

"Yes, a guy.", she rinsed off the pizza cutter and gave it back to him. "Do you honestly think it would be such a big deal if it wasn't?"

"Olivia, I love you, but you're crazy.", Laney ran in and hugged Olivia's legs.

"Why mommy crazy?", Olivia picked up her daughter and sat her on the counter just as Alex ran in, jumping up and being placed next to his sister.

"Mommy isn't crazy.", Olivia tells her. "But you know who is?"

"Who?!", both kids say simultaneously.

"Daddy, because he wasn't gonna go get you two for pizza. He said that he was gonna eat the whole thing by himself!", she exclaims.

"That's mean!", Alex pouts.

"I'm just kidding, booger. Let's get you two rug-rats ready for dinner and then we'll have bath time, okay?", she got each of them down.
