Chapter 15: Kalmed down?

[Flashback] 4.30PM - Half an hour till fight.

Karma and Asano were not there!

"What the......" Nakamura she murmured

"Where are they?" they stared at each other with confusing and worrying expressions...the longer they stood there the more they felt that Karma was in danger. But they had no way of knowing where they could be, which was more agonising. 

"k..Karma..." Okuda let out a cry...'what the hell is he thinking' 

[4.30] Karma and Asano meet [undisclosed location]

Karma stared frowning at this door almost shaking in anger, 'one last time I have to face this bastard' he thought.

Asano released his tightly clamped fist, his hand finally receiving blood to the fingers. He had been thinking deeply about his situation. 

"I didn't think a coward like you would turn up (sarcastic sigh)...especially here" Asano's voice was groggy as he hadn't spoken since 5 hours ago. 

Karma could hear his smug muffled voice and almost immediately opened the door with upmost ferocity and rage. 

His entrance to the dark room sent a ghostly chill through his spine which made his small hairs tingle. 

Asano swivelled towards him, his aimed glare at Karma with disgust. 

Karma broke a smile before he looked at Asano like an insect - inferior to him. 

"You have a lot of guts to ask me here don't ya think?" Karma asked but Asano only smiled back 

"I'm still surprised you came back here Karma....or should I say cous....."

Reveal [They were in Asano's house - room]

"Don't you f*cking dare, like i would be related to your scum family"  Karma's veins were waiting to burst out

"it is simply you who cannot accept the truth cousin...we are blood relatives" 

"What the f*ck has this got to do with Manami? get to the point" Karma clicked his knuckles and now Asano started to laugh hysterically 

"Manami? you're girlfriend? Like I cared about that b*tch..I just used her to get to you. That's ridiculous that you would think I like anyone from that broken class" 

"Our families, have always been stark rivals - we have always been...I never wanted it to be this way Karma...but it was time we settled this - Gakushū vs Akabanes - which is superior in every way?"

Karma certainly hated Asano since birth, but the anger built up within, could murder Asano with one hit - how dare he use and degrade Manami to get to him...

"Is that it...you brought me here? To sort out your f*cking daddy issues" Karma even had tears of anger.  

Karma quickly grabbed a photo frame and in an instant held it above, quickly threatening Asano who fell to the floor in fear, hands squeezing his head tightly in protection.

"d..d..don't I mean you wouldn't dare..(kill me) Karma!" Asano let his guard down 

"Look at the photo Karma" Asano was frantic and pathetic looking up at Karma for mercy. - he could see Karma's blood lust and felt suffocated by his aura - tears formed in his eyes

Karma glanced at it - a photo of two young 5 year old boys on their first day of school, holding hands joyfully and with the two biggest smiles. 

"We weren't always so hostile...what happened Karma?"  Asano asked seriously, a sense of longing in his voice 

"That five year old me was ignorant.[Sigh] I was never truly happy back then - family or not, I don't want to remember the past." Karma calmed down to gently put the frame down on Asano's desk again.

He then pulled Asano up from his collar and stared at him furiously "If you ever talk badmouth or even talk about Manami again, I'll warn you here - you won't be smiling six feet under"

"I see" assign accepted his fate  "You really love her don't you? Don't let go of her, or you'll turn psychotic [huff]" he was defeated.

"I'll be going, don't tell anyone I've been here" Karma walked away quietly leaving Asano in his room to quietly ponder. 

.....

"I'm an idiot...it seems like I let Manami slip out of my hands...a true worthy rival he is" Asano said to himself  "I'm defeated - i'm sorry...Manami" 

Karma won without a fight but he would of rather been hit than talk about his father or their family - he had to take a breath before returning home.

[5pm] Okuda and Nakamura go back to Karma/Okuda's apartment for his arrival 

"It's this time right?" Nakamura asked then saw Okuda tensing her hands quietly 

'is he hurt?' Okuda thought deeply 

The elevator door slid open unexpectedly and Karma arrived out like nothing had happened and slipped out of his shoes quietly. 

Okuda teared up - Karma was fine

"Yo" karma retained a calm demeanour 

"What then hell Karma! you got us worried sick...where did you go?" Nakamura shouted 

"Business....its sorted now"  his tone was serious 

"We know its something to do with Asano...you didn't kill him did you?" Nakamura asked 

He didn't say anything but looked like he ignored a simple question and shrugged it off

"Karma...don't worry me like that" Okuda put her hand on her heart "you nearly gave me a heart attack" she was still shaking 

"Yeah you nearly gave me one too idiot, Okuda I hope Karma is not Kira" hoping to lighten the mood  between them. 

"Thank you for returning safely and not hurt" Okuda hugged Karma in a tight embrace - his warmth was like a blanket to her and she hear his racing heartbeat. 

Nakamura smiled in delight and excused herself out of their home, wanting to give them time to bond. 

Night-time [21.00]

Karma and Okuda were under the warm blanket, chatting together 

"I don't know if you are ready to talk about today's events but I just wanted to know...have you calmed down? - it seemed you were really anxious about something.." Okuda asked cautiously 

"No i'm fine - you're all I need Manami, nothing more" Karma proceeded to run through Okuda's purple strands carefully and lovingly

"Goodnight my love" Karma said softly 

"Goodnight Karma" she replied she was happy he returned home and could sleep peacefully

Ok i know my lazy ass needs to finish this fan fic so my goal is to complete the whole story by January
