"Carrie, it's already getting dark what the hell are we doing?" I questioned, flailing my hands around as I spoke.

"I don't know alright! Yeah-yeah wanted me to come, meaning so are you!" She poked my arm, before crossing her arms.

I rolled my eyes looking straight ahead, seeing the group walking in front of us as we both trailed behind.

I looked down kicking a few rocks here and there from complete and utter boredom, suddenly bumping into someone's back.

"What the? Benny!" I groaned, backing away and wiping off my top.

They all stopped abruptly making me look around them with confusion. I reached up peering over his shoulder, widening my eyes once I seen a big scary looking dog sat in front us.

"You guys are scared of a dog!" Carrie laughed, throwing her head back as she let out a hysteric laugh.

"That thing is probably one of the beasts babies!" Squints shrieked, pointing at it with horror.

"No it's not! It's just a dog!" Carrie rolled her eyes, before stepping forward.

"No! What are you doing!" Yeah-yeah exclaimed, grabbing onto her arm to stop her.

"Relax, I'm showing you morons that it's nothing to be scared of!" She laughed, pulling her arm away from him.

I went to grab her before quickly shaking my head and hiding back behind everyone, as she began to approach the dog.

"Hi buddy! You got an owner or something?" She titled her head, reaching out to pet it.

The dog suddenly let out a bark with a low growl, making all of us jump in our spots.

"Or never mind maybe!" Carrie widened her eyes, immediately scurrying back towards us.

I stood behind staring at the dog, as it looked like it wanted to completely just maul us all.

"Oh shit. What do we do?" Carrie shrieked, stepping closer towards me.

"Yeah..this better not be the place I die!" Kenny stammered, nervously stepping back.

"I got it, squints go" I pushed him forward, making him immediately jump back.

"Excuse me! Are you crazy?" He exclaimed, throwing his hands up crazily with a scoff.

"Well...god no. I mean that thing could only get one of us before we get away. So... it's clear what we need to do here" I explained, crossing my arms as I looked back to dog.

"Sacrifice, I'm sorry but somebody's got to do it" I continued, shaking my head as I scanned the each of them.

Immediately they all erupted into protests, completely scolding me for my idea.

"Are you insane! Why don't you go?" Squints shrieked, snatching my arm.

"Oh no no.. no can do. I'm wearing these shoes four eyes! I'm not dying and taking them with me, these babies should be preserved!" I exclaimed, motioning down to my heels.

"What! Are you-

"Ok ok! Just step back, slowly alright?" Benny ordered immediately cutting him off, making us quickly nod.

I let out a nervous breathe as we began to step back, before the dog suddenly let out a few more loud and deep barks.

"That's it! I'm out of here!" Squints shrieked, immediately pushing past us and running away.

That set the dog off lunging towards us, making all of us let out loud screams.

I widened my eyes seeing the big scary looking dog with his teeth practically snarling out charge towards us, making me instantly freeze in my place.

My hand was suddenly then tugged and pulled away, making me snap out of my shock as we all quickly took off down the street.

"Benny! Let go you're gonna ruin my shoes!" I shouted, seeing he was practically dragging me by how fast he was running.

We all continued to scream as we ran away, before suddenly I was pulled behind a wall.

"Ow!" I shrieked bumping into Benny's chest from the fast abruptness."Shh!" He immediately shushed me, before looking back.

We both peeked out from behind the wall seeing the rest of the group still running past us the down the street with the dog chasing behind.

I let out a breathe of relief, stepping back as I continued to try and catch my breathe.

"Jesus you were so dragging me across the floor!" I groaned, smacking his arm angrily as I continued to breathe heavily.

He ignored me by continuing to look out down the street, making me roll my eyes before looking down and immediately letting out a shriek.

"My shoes!" I shrieked, looking down to see one of the heels from the shoes had broken.

Immediately I gasped loudly, bending down to slip it off, looking down it with my eyes slowly beginning to water.

"Are you crying!" He exclaimed, looking at me like I was some ridiculous crazy person.

"Oh my poor baby!" I cried out looking down at the shoe with sadness as I plopped down onto the curb.

"These were Mary Jane heels!" I frowned, covering my face to hide my eyes as they grew more blurry with tears.

Benny sighed and threw his head back tiredly before slowly crouching down in front of me, and rubbed my back to try and comfort me.

I flinched at the suddenness but decided to let him, being way too sad to care that he was even touching me right now.

I let out one last sniffle before looking up to see Benny's face softening once he seen me.

"Are you ok?" He asked softly, giving me a worried expression.

I stared at him for a moment before shaking my head and letting out another cry, burying my head back into my hands.

He sighed again continuing to rub my back, letting me cry it out, before I slowly lifted my head up again.

"I think I'm ok now" I breathed out, finally catching my breathe with a sniffle, as I wiped my eyes.

"Oh my god my makeup!" I exclaimed in realization, before letting out another gasp.

I threw my head back down into my hands, letting out more cry's and sobs.

"Alright aright, hey it's ok? calm down" he lifted my head so I could look at him.

"It's just makeup and shoes, don't sweat about it" he assured me, giving me a small smile.

I frowned as he pulled the hem of his sleeved shirt, tilting my head up more towards him.

I watched when he began to use his sleeve to wipe away the tears from my face, leaving me to look at him.

I examined his face slowly titling my head, feeling the panic and sadness slowly wash away from my mind.

I never realized how pretty his eyes were?

"What?" He laughed seeing I was sat, just staring at him."Nothing" I muttered, shaking my head softly as I continued to gaze at him.

He shook his head continuing to wipe off my tears before we both whipped our heads back to see the group standing there.

"You! Just left us!" Hams shouted, pointing at Benny angrily.

"Yeah yeah, we almost died!" Yeah-yeah shrieked, as they leaned onto each other to catch their breaths.

"Yeah well you! Totally threw me in front of that demon!" Carrie shouted, smacking yeah-yeahs arm.

I rolled my eyes as they all began to shout at each other about what happened, slowly returning my gaze back to benny.

He stood shaking his head at their behavior, leaving me too fall into a stare the more I looked at him.

He has really nice eyebrows. His whole face is actually.. nice. Wow, I never even noticed-

Wait a damn minute.Hold the brakes here!

What on earth am I even doing?

Immediately I shook my head looking away seeing Carrie let out a groan before turning to me.

"Let's go, I'm totally not done with this by the way!" Carrie groaned, pointing to yeah-yeah.

She grabbed my arm pulling me away as I followed, briefly glancing back to see the boys who continued to shout at Benny.

I let out a light huff as I shook my head, being confused with what just happened with myself.
