Chapter 16

YN woke up to the sound of her phone ringing. Realizing she was still on the floor she sat up. Answering the phone on autopilot she let out a raspy greeting to the person on the other line.

"Um Princess, I only see your ear" JK chuckled on the other line.

YN yanked the phone away from her head and looked down at the screen. Before she could say anything however JK asked "Are you ok sweetheart, you look tired."

JK was being polite about it but he was concerned. Her hair was mussed and her face was puffy. It looked like she had been crying for a while which broke his heart.

YN quickly reached up and wiped her eyes and fixed her hair. "Yeah I'm fine, I was just a little emotional earlier from being so tired. Plus I miss you a lot. I'll be ok though, sorry you have to see me like this. Give me just a minute and let me freshen up." She set her phone down and walked away into the bathroom.

JK waited for her on the line as he began putting his stuff away in the room he was sharing with Tae and Jimin again. He felt bad that she had been crying but he knew how she felt. He had shed his own fair share of tears on the plane, Jimin went so far as to come over and give him a hug until he calmed down. It was hard but he reminded himself he would see her soon. He looked back over at his phone when he heard her voice come through.

"Sorry about that handsome, how was the flight."

"It was uneventful as usual, we just got back to the hotel."

"Ok, have you guys eaten already?"

"Not yet, we are going to order something in tonight so that we can get to bed early. Traveling takes it out of us. Have you eaten yet?"

"No, I'm not really hungry, to be honest."

"Baby, you need to eat something."

"I will later. When are you guys going to eat."

"Probably in a couple of hours." The wheels were beginning to turn in his head about what he could do to make sure she eats something tonight. The idea popped in his head that he would order her sushi from her favorite place and a dessert from her favorite bakery. It would be easy enough and he was hoping it would be a pleasant surprise. So he pulled up his app for food delivery options and ordered her food to be sent over within the hour.

"Sooo..." she said, she felt at a loss of words and just drained. She wanted to feel him next to her and it kind of hurt that she could only see him instead.

"So, I was talking to the guys earlier and we all agreed that if we can work really hard, then maybe you could come out on Fridays instead of just Saturday morning. That way we could at least sleep together the night before the show and have breakfast. What do you think?" His words had just the effect on her that he was hoping for, her whole face lit up with excitement and he couldn't hold back the smile. "We also decided that we are going to fly Kai to you and keep you company on the flights."

"Why would you want to do that, Kai is going to get sick of flying real quick if you make him do that." She said confused, but then she smiled "You're doing it because I won't have Lola with me, aren't you?"

"Well when we looped Kai into the logistics and with everything going on, he actually volunteered to do it. I don't know how you did it, but you have that giant wrapped around your finger. He's going to be your personal traveling companion."

"Awww that's sweet of him and of you baby. Thank you for being so thoughtful."

"So I already booked your first ticket. You're flying out at 12:30 and you'll be to me by about 6:30 with the layover. Kai will have parked the SUV there and he will get you to the hotel around the time we will be done with practice."

"Yay, I'm so excited, I can't wait to be with you again." She said. They continued to chat about aimless things for a while when she heard her doorbell ring. "Hang on JK, someone is at the door." Walking to the door she opens it to see that it was a food delivery service.

"YN?" They asked.

"Yes, that's me but I didn't order this."

JK piped up on the phone "I did, thanks for bringing it over."

The delivery person handed her the food and she closed the door. "You didn't trust me to eat tonight did you?" Looking down at her phone and rolling her eyes.

"Nope, not even a little. Open it."

She did as she was told and opened the bag to see her favorite sushi rolls from the restaurant that they went on their first date to and her favorite pastry from the bakery that she showed him.

"Kookie, you're the sweetest! I love you so much. This looks delicious." Her appetite had returned full force as she opened the various containers of food and began to eat.

JK watched her eat and was content with knowing he made her day. He figured this was something he could do for her when he was away. The simple act of showing her that he was thinking of her by getting her favorites delivered was satisfying. He looked up at the door as it was swung open and Jimin walked through.

"Hey Kook, it's time to eat."

"Ok Jimin, I'll be there in a minute."

"Is that YN?" he said as we walked over. He placed his head in the frame and waved at her "Hi YN"

"Hi Jimin! Kookie told me I get to see you guys Friday night! I can't wait!"

"Yeah, be lucky JK is getting his own room Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so that you two can be undisturbed." He laughed as she blushed.

"Ok Kookie, I'm eating. I'll probably just go to sleep after this. It's getting late. I love you."

"I love you too Princess, sleep well. I'll FaceTime you tomorrow. I'm unsure when but I will."

"Good night Jk"

"Night Princess"

Setting the phone down JK followed Jimin into the hall and to the other room they shared.

"How was she really when you first called," Jimin asked.

"She looked pretty tired and like she had been crying a lot but I sent her food and she was ok by the end of it."

"That's a relief then, I know the distance is gonna be hard but we are here for you guys. I'm actually going to start a group chat with her in it so she feels more connected. I mean, I know she's your girl but we all really like her and care about her. We can tell we are all going to be close."

"Thanks, man, you're really the best."

After that night the days came and dragged on slowly, or so it seemed to YN. She and JK talked every day and they even fell asleep sometimes on FaceTime together. She didn't get as much sleep but as long as she was able to talk to him, she felt a little better.

Work continued like normal, now that the kids were back in after the break. Several of the kiddos were out sick over the course of the week due to their travels. The ones that were back were having a hard time adjusting back to the schedule, so that took up a lot of her time. The best parts of the day aside from the calls with JK were the random texts sent in the group chat. Jimin had sent her a message and then it became apparent everyone was in on it. She decided to have a lot of fun with the member's nicknames on her phone so that it would be discreet if anyone were to look, especially while she was at work. Just then a text came in.

Mochi: YN! JK is stealing all the food!

Kookie: I am not, you weren't eating it! You literally said I could have it!

Sunshine: Nope, you definitely stole it, don't try to look good in front of your girlfriend.

TaeTae: What are you girls bickering about? Not another dumpling I hope.

WWH: Enough children stop fighting over the food.

MeowMeow: ....

Joonie: Quite bothering her guys and get back to rehearsal.

Mochi: Oh come on Joon don't be like that!

Joonie: I am going to be like that!

Kookie: Love you Princess, we gotta go practice because the slave driver said so.

Joonie: Yah! If you want to see your Princess Friday night get your ass in gear.

YN: Have fun guys hope you live through it! Joon don't be too hard on them! Hahaha bye!

She shook her head at the antics and continued working.

Several days have passed and it was now finally Friday morning and she received another text but this time just from JK.

Kookie: T-minus 12 hours until you're in my arms again Princess.

YN: I can't wait Kookie! I'm getting ready now. I love you!

Kookie: I love you more Princess!

With that YN finished packing all of her stuff for her trip. She double and triple-checked that she had everything she needed. Dropping Lola off at her parent's house she drove down to the airport. Entering, she went to go find her gate when she spotted a familiar face.

"Kaiiiiii" She screamed in happiness. She ran over to him and gave him a big hug.

"It's good to see you to YN," Kai told her. "Now let's go wait for our flight. They should be on time today."

Moving through the airport they found their gate and settled in to wait for their flight.

YN: T-Minus 8 hours until I'm with you. I'm waiting for my flight now. I love you!

She knew he wouldn't respond to her text because they were going to be super busy today but she sent it anyways. An hour later the attendant called for their flight to board. It was easy to find their seats and they settled in for the long flight. YN ended up falling asleep on Kai as they flew. He smiled down at her and turned back to the video playing on his screen. Once they landed Kai woke her up and guided her back off the plane towards their gate. Little did she know Jungkook had texted him saying the guys let him go early to meet her at the airport.

YN rubbed her eyes sleepily when she heard the commotion from the side. She looked up just in time to catch a glimpse of a face before she was picked up and spun around. Tears started to fall down her face as JK set her back down on the ground, pulled his mask down, and kissed her. She wrapped her arms around him and leaned against him, holding on for dear life. She was so happy to finally be back in his arms, she felt complete.

"Let's go get your bag and head back to the hotel ok? We don't want to be caught out here. I just really wanted to surprise you." He whispered to her "God I missed you." He looked over at Kai "We will take the SUV you parked here, the guys had me dropped off so we didn't draw attention to ourselves."

Kai nodded and went to retrieve the bags from the baggage claim.

JK and YN held each other a little while longer as they waited for Kai to get back. They didn't say anything, just enjoying the other's presence was enough. It had only been a few days but it truly felt like an eternity. Kai returned with the bags and they walked out to the SUV together. JK got in first and pulled YN up against him. He wanted to touch as much of her as possible.

They made it back to the hotel and got upstairs to the room that JK got for himself for the days that YN would be with him. They walked through the door and JK picked her up and placed her on the bed.

"I don't want gentle and I won't last long, but I need you right now." He said as he started undressing her. Once her clothes were off he shed his own, he was inside of her a heartbeat later. She moaned his name as she felt him fill her. Hard and fast he pumped into her telling her how much he loved her. He reached down between their bodies as he felt his release rising and rubbed her clit. A moment later they came together. JK laid atop her, staying inside her heat, he felt at peace knowing she was with him again. All he could think of during the week was her and practice, any chance he got he texted her or called. Needing to hear her voice wanting to hear how her day was going. He wanted every aspect of her.

"Mmmm that was nice handsome," she said as she ran her fingers along his back. "I missed you so much".

"I missed you more" He replied, he finally shifted over to her side, raising himself up on an elbow he looked down at her "Are you hungry? We can eat now or we can wait for the guys to get back."

"Let's wait for the guys, I just want to snuggle with you just like this." He laid back down, pulled her back into his arms, and drifted off.

They were both startled by the pounding on the door a few minutes later. JK looked at the time and realize that the guys must have finished practice a bit early. Pulling on his sweatpants he went over to the door, he was simply going to see who it was when Jimin forced the door the rest of the way open.

"Jimin, what are you doing! I'm not decent!" YN yelled and burrowed herself under the covers.

Jimin couldn't stop laughing "I knew it! Tae owes me 30,000 won!" he bent over and continued to laugh. YN had other plans though and threw the pillow at his head.

"Jimin get out! Let me get dressed!"

"No can do YN, the guys are waiting and we have dinner. I've watched him all week, if I leave now we won't see you guys until the morning." He said, "I'll turn my back though and I'll promise not to peek." He said as he turned back towards the door and closed his eyes.

JK picked up YN's clothes and handed them to her. She took them and used his body as a shield as she made her way to the bathroom and closed the door to get dressed. JK turned around and looked at Jimin who was still smiling from ear to ear "You're enjoying this way too much, you're lucky we were done otherwise you would have scarred her for life" JK said as he shook his head. He went over and pulled on his shirt as YN walked out of the bathroom.

"Let's go you two," She says as she walks out the door without waiting for either of them.

When they get to the room that everyone is in everyone immediately gets up and takes turns greeting YN. Sitting down to eat, they all talking and YN felt like she was back with her family. Getting all emotional for no apparent reason she started to cry. Excusing herself for a moment she walked into the bathroom to splash some water on her face.

While she was gone the men just look at each other before Jin pipes up "What's wrong, that came out of nowhere."

"I think she's just tired. I think we should head to bed early tonight. Thanks for dinner guys."

YN walks out of the bathroom and sees JK stand up "Let's go to bed sweetheart, it's been a long day. Tomorrow will be longer." He reaches for her hand and they head back to their room for the night.
