17:21, 5 April 2025You giggle as Jungkook gently covers your eyes with his hands, guiding you up the stairs. "Jungkook, what's going on?" you ask, a mix of curiosity and excitement in your voice.
"Just trust me, baby," he replies, his tone light and teasing. "You're gonna love it."
You feel a little nervous but let him guide you, your footsteps slow as you climb. You can't help but wonder what kind of surprise he's planned for you. The anticipation is almost too much to bear, but you trust him completely.
After a few moments, he stops you and removes his hands from your eyes. "Okay, open them."
You blink a few times, your eyes adjusting, and when you do, you can't help but gasp in awe. The entire house—your new home—has been completely transformed. The once empty spaces are now fully furnished and organized. The walls are decorated, the furniture is in place, and everything looks so warm and welcoming. The living room is cozy with a soft couch and beautiful lighting. Your kitchen is fully stocked, and even the baby's room has been set up.
You feel a wave of emotions—surprise, joy, and gratitude. "Jungkook... it's perfect," you whisper, your eyes scanning every detail of the room.
Jungkook smiles proudly, standing next to you. "I wanted it to feel like home for you. I know we've both been busy, but I didn't want you to feel stressed out about it. This is our new start."
Tears well up in your eyes as you look at him. "You did all this? You really thought of everything."
He pulls you close, wrapping his arms around you. "Anything for you and the baby. I just want us to be happy here."
You bury your face in his chest, overwhelmed by the love and effort he's put into making this house a home. "Thank you, Jungkook," you whisper.
He smiles down at you, brushing a kiss on the top of your head. "I'm just getting started," he murmurs, his voice filled with affection. "We've got a lot to look forward to."
You pull away slightly, looking up at him with a smile. "Jungkook, you really went above and beyond. This... this is exactly what I had in mind from the Pinterest board. It's even better than I imagined."
He grins, a bit shy but clearly pleased. "I had some help, but yeah, I remembered you showing me those ideas. I wanted to make it perfect for you, especially with the baby coming."
You walk around, admiring the details, feeling so grateful. "The baby's room... it's exactly how I wanted it. I can already picture us spending time here."
Jungkook follows you, his hand resting on your lower back as he looks around with pride. "I wanted it to be a place where you can feel comfortable and peaceful, especially since you're going to be doing so much of the work with the baby."
You turn to him, smiling. "You've done so much already. I feel so lucky. I never expected all of this... it's more than I could ever ask for."
He chuckles, his thumb gently brushing your cheek. "You deserve it, Y/n. You deserve everything."
You walk over to the crib, your hand gently resting on the edge as you admire the room. The soft pastel colors, the little details that made it so warm and welcoming—it all felt so real now. The baby was coming, and everything was starting to fall into place.
As you take in the room, the emotions hit you all at once. You're overwhelmed with love, excitement, and a hint of nervousness about the future. Slowly, tears begin to form, the weight of the moment settling in your chest.
Jungkook notices and moves to stand beside you, his hand resting on your back. "Hey, it's okay," he says softly, his voice full of tenderness. "I know it's a lot. But we're in this together, every step of the way."
You nod, wiping a tear away, your heart swelling with affection for him. "I just... can't believe this is all happening. It feels so surreal."
Jungkook wraps his arm around you, pulling you close. "I know. But we've got this. You, me, and the baby. We're going to make it all work."
You lean into him, feeling comforted by his presence, knowing that despite the challenges ahead, you'll face them together.
As you walk into the master bedroom, your excitement grows even more. The space feels so open and serene, just the way you imagined it would be. You take in the soft colors, the sleek furniture, and the cozy atmosphere. Then, your eyes are drawn to the attached bathroom and the walk-in wardrobe, both of which are just as stunning as you'd hoped.
But then... you see it. The light-up mirror. Your heart skips a beat as you rush over to it, unable to hold back your excitement.
"The mirror!" you exclaim, your eyes lighting up as you step closer to it. It's everything you envisioned, a perfect addition to the room. It's sleek, modern, and the lighting makes it look even more luxurious.
Jungkook, standing in the doorway, smiles at your reaction. "I thought you'd love that. You deserve it."
You turn to him, your face beaming with joy. "I love it! This is perfect."
You step in front of the mirror, running your fingers along the edges, admiring how it lights up your reflection in the soft glow. It's a small detail, but it makes you feel like this space is finally yours.
"This is so us," you say, unable to stop smiling. "I can't wait to get ready for everything in here."
You turn to Jungkook, your heart full of gratitude, and ask softly, "You did all this for me, even though you've been so busy? You still made the time... for all of this?"
He looks at you with a soft smile, stepping closer. "I wanted to make sure you had everything you need, especially for our baby. You've been doing so much, and I just wanted to show you how much I appreciate you. No matter how busy I am, you're my priority."
His words hit you deeply, and you feel a rush of emotions. You walk over to him, wrapping your arms around him in a tight hug, the overwhelming love you feel for him making your chest tighten.
"Thank you, Jungkook," you whisper, "This means the world to me."
He hugs you back, his voice tender. "Anything for you... for us."
You pull back slightly, still holding him, and look into his eyes. "I don't think I can ever thank you enough for everything you're doing... this whole journey with the baby, this house, and just being there for me."
He smiles warmly, brushing a strand of hair behind your ear. "You don't have to thank me. We're in this together, always."
You turn to Jungkook, excitement lighting up your face as you ask, "When are we fully moving in?"
He smiles, brushing a strand of hair from your face. "Well, we're pretty much settled in now. We just have a few things to finish up, but we can move in whenever you want."
Your eyes light up, and you bounce on your toes. "So, like, now? Can we start setting up the baby stuff?"
Jungkook chuckles, shaking his head softly in amusement. "Yeah, we can start now. It's your home too, so whenever you're ready."
You grin, feeling your excitement bubble over. "Let's do it then! I can't wait to make this place feel like ours and get everything ready for the baby."
He smiles warmly, pulling you into a hug. "Alright, let's make it happen."
The days flew by, and finally, you were able to relax in your new family home. You lounged on the couch, wrapped in a cozy blanket, watching TV while Jungkook moved around in the kitchen.
You felt a little guilty knowing you were keeping the baby shower a secret from him, but it would be worth it. You wanted it to be a special surprise—not just for the gender reveal, but to celebrate this new chapter together.
Jungkook peeked his head out from the kitchen, his messy hair falling slightly over his eyes. "You good over there?" he asked, a teasing smile on his lips.
You hummed, stretching lazily. "Mhm. Just enjoying the fact that we're finally settled in."
He walked over, sitting on the armrest of the couch. "Good. So, when are we having this housewarming party? You know, to show off our new place?"
You shrugged nonchalantly. "Maybe soon. I'm still figuring everything out."
He narrowed his eyes at you playfully. "You're being secretive."
You grinned, grabbing a pillow and hugging it. "I have no idea what you're talking about."
Jungkook leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead. "Fine, keep your little secrets. Just don't forget, I'm really good at getting things out of you."
You rolled your eyes, laughing. "We'll see about that."
He smirked, standing up and walking back to the kitchen, while you silently hoped he wouldn't catch on before the big day.
You had kept in touch with Yoongi and Mina, making sure everything was coming together for the baby shower. Between choosing decorations, finalizing the guest list, and organizing the catering, your days had been packed. Luckily, Mina was a lifesaver when it came to planning, and Yoongi—though he pretended to be uninterested—was surprisingly helpful with handling logistics.
Jungkook, on the other hand, remained completely unaware. You had to be extra careful around him, especially when he'd randomly hug you from behind or scroll through your phone, trying to sneak a peek at what you were up to.
"What are you planning?" he asked one night, resting his chin on your shoulder as you quickly locked your phone.
"Nothing suspicious," you replied smoothly, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek to distract him.
He squinted at you but let it go, much to your relief.
With the big day approaching, excitement buzzed through you. You couldn't wait to see Jungkook's reaction when he realized this wasn't just any gathering—it was a celebration of your little family.
You sat on the couch, your phone in hand, debating whether to message Taehyung. After a moment, you decided to go for it.
You: Hey, you busy?
It didn't take long for him to reply.
Taehyung: For you? Never. What's up?
You smiled at his dramatic response before typing.
You: Can you come over? Need help with something.
Taehyung: Oooh, mysterious. On my way.
About thirty minutes later, the doorbell rang. You got up to open it, and the second Taehyung laid eyes on you, his expression froze.
"Wait... what the hell?" His eyes widened as he stared at your stomach. "Are you—?"
You let out a small laugh, placing a hand on your belly. "Surprise?"
Taehyung blinked rapidly, completely taken aback. "How—when—who—" He cut himself off, jaw dropping. "No way. Jungkook?"
You nodded, and he scoffed, shaking his head with a smirk. "Unbelievable. That man really got you pregnant and didn't tell me?"
"Well, to be fair, we haven't exactly been broadcasting it," you replied with a chuckle. "And you never asked."
Taehyung dramatically flopped onto your couch, still staring at you in disbelief. "Damn. I really did not see this coming. Jungkook— a whole dad? That's insane."
You sat beside him, rolling your eyes. "You're acting like it's the end of the world."
He shot you a look. "It kinda is. But also... congrats, I guess?" He smirked, finally processing everything. "So, what do you need my help with?"
You turned to Taehyung with a grin. "So, next week, I get to find out the gender of the baby."
His eyes lit up. "Oh, that's exciting! You nervous?"
"A little," you admitted. "But here's the thing— the day after, I'm having a gender reveal slash baby shower party."
Taehyung nodded, following along. "Sounds fun. What do you need me for?"
You smirked. "I'm surprising Jungkook with it, so he has no idea."
Taehyung's mouth fell open. "You're planning a whole party, and he doesn't have a clue? Wow. That's actually impressive."
"Yeah, but here's the problem," you sighed. "He's taking the whole week off to look after me."
Taehyung burst out laughing. "Ohhh, so you need me to keep him busy?"
"Exactly," you grinned. "Can you do it?"
He scoffed, leaning back on the couch. "Please, distracting Jungkook is easy. I'll take him out, make him do dumb things, whatever it takes." He winked. "Consider it done."
You let out a relieved breath. "Thank you, Taehyung. I really want this to be special."
He smiled, nudging your shoulder. "Don't worry. We got this."
Taehyung raised an eyebrow as he stretched out on your couch. "Okay, but real talk—are you and Jungkook, like, official? 'Cause I've only seen you together that one time at the boxing event."
You blinked at him before nodding slowly. "Yeah... we are."
His eyes narrowed playfully. "For how long?"
You bit your lip, thinking. "It's been a while now."
Taehyung's jaw dropped. "And you never told me?"
You rolled your eyes. "Well, it's not like we made some grand announcement."
He huffed, crossing his arms. "Wow. So, you're out here living the domestic life with Jungkook, pregnant and everything, and I'm just now finding out?"
You laughed. "I mean... yeah, pretty much."
He shook his head dramatically. "Unbelievable. But honestly, I should've guessed. The way he was hovering around you at the boxing event? Man looked ready to throw hands if anyone breathed too close."
You shrugged with a small smile. "Yeah, he's always been like that."
Taehyung smirked. "Well, at least he's stepping up. But damn, Y/n, you really got Jungkook whipped, huh?"
Taehyung let out a dramatic sigh, shaking his head. "Man... I can't believe Jungkook didn't tell me. But then again, he never tells me anything."
You chuckled, knowing it was true. Jungkook had always been private, even with his closest friends.
Taehyung ran a hand through his hair before smirking. "I mean, I get it. He's always been the type to keep things under wraps. But damn, Y/n, I thought I was at least in the inner circle."
You nudged him playfully. "Guess you're on the outer edges, Tae."
He gasped dramatically, clutching his chest. "Wow. Betrayal. I thought we had something special."
You laughed. "Oh, shut up. You're literally here helping me plan a secret gender reveal party for him."
Taehyung grinned. "Yeah, yeah. That means I'm still a VIP in your life, right?"
You rolled your eyes. "Sure, Tae. Whatever helps you sleep at night."
He leaned back with a smug look. "Damn right."
You smile as you tell Taehyung, "This is the home Jungkook and I share. It's still in progress, but it's been really coming together." You pause, glancing around the living room. "I know Jungkook is wealthy, but this... this place feels different. It's cozy, comfortable—more like middle class but with a lot of love, you know?"
Taehyung nods, a playful grin on his face. "Yeah, I get what you mean. It's like he's keeping it real, even with all that success." He glances around the room again, then looks back at you. "So, gender reveal party and baby shower, huh? That sounds like a blast. I bet Jungkook's gonna be surprised!"
You groan, slumping back against the couch as you tell Taehyung, "Jungkook keeps trying to get it out of me. He's been asking nonstop what I'm hiding, and I just can't tell him. It's supposed to be a surprise for him, but he's so persistent! I feel like he's going to crack it any day now."
Taehyung chuckles, shaking his head. "You know Jungkook, always trying to figure things out before they even happen. But I think he'll love the surprise, especially since it's all about the baby." He gives you a reassuring smile. "You've got this, just hold out a little longer."
As Taehyung left, you quickly turned to head into the kitchen to get a snack, still thinking about everything that had happened. Just as you were about to step through the doorway, you heard Jungkook's voice calling your name from the hallway.
"Y/n?" His voice was warm but tinged with curiosity. "Are you home?"
You froze, your heart racing as you quickly wiped your hands on your pants. You knew he was about to find out something, and you had to act fast to keep the surprise under wraps.
"I'm in here!" you called out, trying to sound casual as you moved toward the kitchen.
Jungkook stepped into the room, his face lighting up when he saw you. His eyes softened, and he walked toward you. "I was wondering where you went. You've been quiet all day. What are you up to?" he asked, his voice full of concern as he scanned your face.
You felt your heart race, the weight of the secret still heavy on your shoulders. Trying to keep a straight face, you smiled. "Nothing much. Just... thinking about a few things."
Jungkook's expression softened even more, but he raised an eyebrow. "Thinking about what?"
You hesitated for a moment, unsure of how much to reveal. "Just... plans," you said, trying to deflect. "You know, stuff for the house, the baby, just everything."
He studied you for a second before nodding, though there was a hint of suspicion in his eyes. "Well, if you need help with anything, just let me know," he said gently, his tone still warm, though his eyes lingered on you for a moment longer than usual.
Jungkook, with a sudden grin, swooped in and picked you up effortlessly, causing a small gasp to escape your lips. You instinctively wrapped your arms around his neck as he held you securely.
"I've missed you," he murmured against your ear, his breath warm and soft. His arms were strong around you, and you could feel the warmth of his embrace, the familiar comfort you had grown so used to in the short time you'd been together.
Your heart skipped a beat as he pulled you closer, the tension from earlier slipping away in that moment. "Jungkook, what are you doing?" you asked, though it was more of a playful question than anything.
He only chuckled, clearly enjoying the moment. "Just showing you how much I've missed you. You've been on my mind all day." His tone softened, his eyes looking into yours with a look that felt a little deeper than usual. "It's hard being apart from you."
You couldn't help but smile, feeling the weight of your thoughts lighten in his arms. "I missed you too," you admitted, your voice a little softer as you buried your face in his shoulder for a moment, inhaling his familiar scent.
He squeezed you a little tighter, his warmth grounding you. "Good. Because I'm not going anywhere," he promised quietly, as if you needed reminding, but you appreciated hearing it nonetheless.

As you sat at your vanity, carefully applying your makeup, you could feel Jungkook's presence behind you, leaning against the doorframe. He groaned, clearly not wanting you to leave.
"Why are you leaving me again?" he whined, sounding almost like a child. "I thought we were going to spend the day together."
You glanced at him through the mirror, offering a playful smile as you continued your makeup routine. "It's just a girls' day with Mina. We're looking for things for the housewarming party tomorrow."
He raised an eyebrow, clearly a little skeptical but not pressing it further. "You've been telling me about this housewarming for weeks now. You sure you're not just getting away from me?" he teased.
You smirked, keeping your tone light and casual. "No, of course not. I just promised Mina I'd help her. You know how it is."
He looked at you with a slight pout, clearly not entirely convinced but willing to let it go—for now. "I guess I'll survive, but I'll miss you."
You chuckled, finishing up your makeup. "I'll be back before you know it. And you'll have the whole evening to yourself tomorrow after the party."
Jungkook groaned again, this time dramatically, walking over and wrapping his arms around you from behind. "You're making it sound like I'm going to be alone forever."
You laughed softly, feeling his warmth as you turned to face him. "I'll come back. I promise."
He kissed your cheek before letting you go, though he still looked a little disappointed. "Fine, but I'm holding you to that promise."
You smiled as you finished your makeup and grabbed your bag. "See you later, Jungkook. I'll be back soon."
You knew he had no idea about the surprise party you were planning for him tomorrow, and you were glad to keep it a secret just a little longer. As you left the room, you sent one last glance at him, hoping everything would go perfectly.
Jungkook's hand gently wrapped around your wrist as you reached for the door, his grip firm yet soft. You turned to face him, seeing the way his eyes softened as he stood there, trying to hold you back.
"You're really going to leave me?" he asked, his voice tinged with that familiar pout. "This is the only week I get to spend time with you without distractions, and now you're going off with Mina?"
You could see the frustration mixed with a hint of vulnerability in his gaze, and it made your heart ache a little. You knew how much he valued this time with you, especially with everything that had been going on in his life lately. His constant training and work had kept him busy, and he was finally taking some time off.
"I know, I know..." you said softly, walking toward him, placing a gentle hand on his chest. "But this is just for today, Jungkook. You'll have me all to yourself tomorrow. I promise."
He sighed, but his grip on you didn't loosen. He pulled you a little closer, resting his chin on your shoulder, a slight pout still on his lips.
"I just miss you already," he muttered, his voice muffled against your skin. "It feels like I never get enough time with you."
You smiled softly, brushing a strand of hair from his face, your heart warming at the sincerity in his words. You could feel his heartbeat against your chest as he held you close, almost like he was afraid to let go.
"I'll be back before you know it," you whispered, leaning in to kiss the side of his head. "And I'll make it up to you tomorrow. I swear."
Jungkook didn't say anything at first, but he pulled you into a tight hug, pressing his cheek against yours. "You better," he whispered, before finally letting you go.
You reached for the door again, but this time he didn't stop you. "Just don't take too long, okay?" he said, his voice soft but still carrying that note of longing.
"I won't," you promised, giving him one last smile before stepping out the door, feeling his eyes linger on you until you disappeared around the corner.
As you walked away, you felt a little guilty for keeping the surprise from him, but you knew it would all be worth it once the baby shower and gender reveal finally arrived.
Mina raised an eyebrow as you walked into the hospital lobby, a playful smile tugging at her lips. "So, did the 'girls day' plan work?" she asked, crossing her arms in front of her, clearly curious.
You let out a small laugh, nodding. "It worked, but not without some effort. Jungkook kept trying to stop me from leaving. He was practically begging me not to go," you said with a little chuckle, thinking back to how he had tried to hold you back before you left this morning.
Mina's eyes widened in amusement. "Aww, he really doesn't want you to go, huh?" she teased, nudging your shoulder. "Guess he really values this time with you, huh?"
You nodded, your smile softening. "Yeah, he does. It's sweet, but also... a little overwhelming sometimes. He just wants me around, and I get it, but we both need space, you know?"
Mina agreed with a knowing look. "I totally get that. But hey, he's going to be so surprised when he finds out tomorrow. It's going to be worth it. The baby shower and gender reveal will totally blow his mind."
You couldn't help but grin at that thought. "I hope so. I just want everything to be perfect. I want him to know how much he means to me."
Mina smiled warmly at you, her eyes full of understanding. "It will be, trust me. You've got this." She playfully nudged you again. "Now, let's get this gender reveal figured out, huh?"
You were sitting in the hospital room, fidgeting slightly in the sterile chair as you nervously glanced at the clock. Your mind was racing with anticipation for what was to come — today was the day you would find out the gender of your baby. You couldn't help but feel the weight of the moment, everything feeling like it was building up to this one small but monumental moment.
Suddenly, the door swung open, and Yoongi rushed
You and Mina both couldn't help but laugh as Yoongi apologized for being late, as usual. It was just like him to show up last minute, but it had become such a familiar thing that it only made the situation feel more relaxed. "It's okay, Yoongi," Mina said with a grin. "You're always late, but we still love you."
Yoongi shrugged nonchalantly, flashing his signature smirk. "I'm just giving you guys some extra time to get ready for the excitement," he joked, clearly not bothered by his tardiness.
You smiled, grateful for the calm energy he brought, especially in a moment that felt so monumental. The tension in your chest eased a little with his arrival, and it felt nice to have friends who understood you so well. "You just missed the waiting part," you teased. "Now we get to find out if it's a boy or a girl."
Mina nudged you playfully. "Are you ready to hear the news?" she asked, her excitement matching yours. You nodded, your heart pounding a little faster as the nurse called your name.
It was finally time.
You walked into Dr. Kim's room, feeling the familiar nerves mixed with excitement. He smiled warmly at you, taking a seat at his desk as he gestured for you to sit on the examination table. "So, today's the big day," Dr. Kim said, his voice calm and reassuring. "Are you ready to find out the gender?"
You nodded, a smile tugging at your lips despite the butterflies in your stomach. "Yes, I'm ready," you replied, your voice just a little shakier than you'd intended.
Dr. Kim chuckled softly, his eyes glimmering with a hint of excitement. "Alright then, let's get started." He moved to the ultrasound machine and began setting it up, preparing to give you the long-awaited answer.
Mina stood by your side, her hand gently resting on your arm. "Are you nervous?" she asked quietly, glancing at you with a knowing smile.
You shook your head, trying to calm your nerves. "Just excited," you said, squeezing her hand for reassurance.
Dr. Kim began the procedure, the cool gel spreading across your stomach. The familiar sound of the ultrasound machine hummed in the background, and as the image appeared on the screen, your heart skipped a beat. The anticipation was almost overwhelming.
"Let's see," Dr. Kim said, looking at the screen. "And there it is..." He paused, a smile on his face as he looked at you. "Do you want to know?" he asked, his voice low and teasing.
You nodded again, your heart racing. "Yes, please!"
Dr. Kim gave you a knowing smile and looked back at the screen. "Well, congratulations, you're having a..."
The suspense was unbearable.
Dr. Kim smiled as he looked at the screen, confirming the news. "It's a boy!" he announced, his voice warm and filled with excitement.
Your heart swelled with happiness at the news. A smile spread across your face, and you couldn't help but let out a small laugh, feeling a rush of emotions. "A boy," you repeated, still processing the sweet reality of it.
Mina immediately cheered, her hands clasped together in joy. "I knew it! He's going to be so cute!" she said, her voice filled with excitement.
Yoongi, who had been leaning against the wall, grinned widely and raised his hand in the air. "I told you! This little guy is going to be a heartbreaker!" he joked, his enthusiasm matching yours.
You laughed, feeling a warmth in your chest as you looked at your friends. Everything felt right in this moment, knowing that your little family was going to grow with a baby boy.
Dr. Kim nodded, making a few notes on his chart before turning back to you. "You'll have a lot to look forward to. Let's make sure everything is going well, and we'll keep track of your progress."
Mina squeezed your hand gently, and Yoongi gave you a thumbs up. "This is so exciting," Mina said softly. "I can't wait to meet him."
You nodded, still overwhelmed with joy. "Neither can I."
Mina grinned excitedly, already pulling out her phone. "Alright, I'll start calling the place for the blue balloons and fireworks! It's going to be perfect for the gender reveal tomorrow!" she said, her voice bubbling with energy.
You laughed, the excitement growing. "You're really going all out, huh?"
"Of course!" Mina replied with a wink. "It's a celebration, after all. A boy is a big deal! We need to make it memorable for you and Jungkook."
Yoongi, who had been quiet for a moment, smirked. "Are you sure Jungkook's ready for all of this? He's going to be shocked."
"I think he's going to love it," you said, feeling a little more nervous now, thinking about Jungkook's reaction. "It's going to be a big surprise."
Mina nodded enthusiastically, already texting away on her phone. "Leave everything to me. I'll make sure it's all set for tomorrow!"
You smiled, feeling the love and excitement from your friends as the anticipation of the big day grew. Everything was falling into place perfectly.
Yoongi leaned back in his chair with a mischievous grin, looking at Mina. "I'll bet you £100 right now that Jungkook will cry when he finds out the gender," he said, clearly enjoying the idea.
Mina raised an eyebrow and laughed. "You're on," she said, pulling out her phone to lock the bet. "But I'm not so sure, Yoongi. Jungkook might act all tough, but he's got a soft side, so maybe you're right."
You smiled at the two of them, feeling the playful energy between them. "I think it's a safe bet, honestly," you said, leaning back in your chair. "Jungkook's been so emotional lately, I can't see him holding it together when he finds out."
Yoongi laughed, nodding in agreement. "Exactly! He's been so into this whole pregnancy thing. I wouldn't be surprised if he cries like a baby himself."
Mina shook her head, still skeptical. "Well, I'll happily take your money when he doesn't."
You couldn't help but chuckle at their banter, feeling the joy and warmth of the moment. "Let's just hope he's happy with the news, no matter how he reacts!"
You couldn't help but smile, imagining the little one running around, a perfect mix of you and Jungkook, with the same playful energy. "Can you imagine?" you cooed, gazing at Mina and Yoongi. "A little mini me, but with Jungkook's energy, running around, probably already trying to box or do some kind of crazy move."
Mina laughed softly. "Oh, I can already picture it. That kid will be unstoppable with both of you as parents!"
Yoongi chuckled, shaking his head. "Definitely a lot of energy. Just make sure to keep the boxing gloves away from that one until they're older, alright?"
You laughed, agreeing with Yoongi's suggestion, but the thought of the little one carrying pieces of both you and Jungkook made your heart swell. "I can't wait to see what they'll be like," you said, voice soft but full of excitement. "I already know they're going to be amazing."
You had spent the last few hours browsing through baby stores, picking out little gifts, and imagining how Jungkook would react when he saw everything. From tiny clothes to little toys, each item made your excitement grow. You were eager to see his face when he found out it was a boy and to show him how much you were already preparing for the future.
As you walked through the stores, you carefully selected everything, thinking of what Jungkook would like for the baby. You couldn't help but smile to yourself, thinking about the surprise you had planned for him. Tomorrow would be the big reveal, and you were certain he'd be over the moon.
Once you finished shopping, you couldn't wait to head back home to prepare the last details for the party. As you looked at the small collection of baby gifts, you felt a rush of happiness. Tomorrow would be a special day, one that you hoped would mark the beginning of even more wonderful memories for your growing family.
Yoongi pulls up in front of your house and parks, turning to you with a curious look. "So, what's the plan for tomorrow?" he asks, raising an eyebrow.
You grin, already excited about the surprise. "I'm going to make sure Jungkook hangs out with Taehyung for a 'boys day,'" you tell him. "My parents will come, along with his parents, and all our friends. After everything is set up, Taehyung will bring Jungkook back through the garden for the surprise."
Yoongi chuckles, nodding in approval. "Sounds like a good plan. He's gonna be so caught off guard."
"Exactly!" you say, your excitement growing. "I can't wait to see his reaction."
"Just don't stress too much," Yoongi advises with a smirk. "It's gonna be fun. You've got this."
"Thanks, Yoongi," you reply, feeling a wave of relief. "I'm so glad you're helping out."
"No problem," he says, giving you a thumbs-up before you both part ways. You head inside, ready to finish preparing for the big day.
You unlock the door and step inside, finding Jungkook lounging in the living room, his focus on the TV. The moment he notices you, he jumps up, excitement lighting up his face. Before you can even react, he scoops you up into his arms and presses a soft, lingering kiss to your lips.
His hands stay on your waist as he pulls away, looking at you with a smile. "I missed you," he says, his voice low and warm. "How was your day?"
You smile, a little flustered from the kiss, but you can't help but feel a wave of affection for him. "It was good," you reply, trying to keep the surprise of the baby shower from showing in your expression. "Just spent the day with Mina, getting things ready."
Jungkook raises an eyebrow but doesn't press any further. "Good. I'm glad you're keeping busy, but I'm happy you're home now." He pulls you close again, resting his head on yours. "I missed you so much."
You relax in his arms, already anticipating the surprise you have in store for him tomorrow.
Jungkook's eyes shift to the bags behind you, his curiosity piqued. He smirks, clearly already guessing what's in them. "What did you buy?" he asks, tilting his head with a teasing smile.
You quickly shake your head and try to block the bags from his view. "Nothing," you reply innocently, "Just presents. And you know the rule—no peeking!"
He chuckles, his playful grin never fading. "You really expect me not to peek?" he teases, but you give him a look that leaves no room for argument.
"Absolutely," you say firmly. "You'll spoil the surprise. I'm serious, no peeking until tomorrow!"
Jungkook sighs dramatically but nods in agreement, pretending to pout. "Alright, alright. But you owe me a little hint, at least?"
You shake your head, laughing at his persistence. "You'll find out tomorrow, I promise."
He gives you a wink, his excitement for the surprise evident, though he's trying to be patient. "Fine, I'll wait. But just so you know, I'm terrible at house warming surprises."
"You'll survive," you tease back, feeling more excited about tomorrow than ever.
You quickly change into something more comfortable, slipping into your favorite oversized sweater and leggings. Once you're ready, you walk back downstairs to find Jungkook still on the couch, casually scrolling through his phone.
You smile as you join him, sitting down next to him and leaning your head on his shoulder. He immediately wraps his arm around you, pulling you close, and you both settle in, enjoying the warmth and quiet of the moment.
"Are you sure you don't want to tell me anything about tomorrow?" Jungkook asks, his voice light but full of curiosity.
You shake your head playfully, "Nope, it's a surprise, remember?"
He lets out a mock groan but then smiles, pressing a kiss to your forehead. "I'll be patient... for now."
You laugh, relaxing into his embrace, already looking forward to the next day and the joy it will bring.
You smile and tell him, "How about you spend time with Taehyung tomorrow?"
Jungkook tilts his head, a bit confused. "What about the surprise housewarming thing? Everyone's supposed to come over, right?"
You nod, trying to keep the excitement in check. "Yeah, but you can come after. It'll give you time to hang out with him and relax before everything starts. Trust me, it'll be fun."
He seems a little hesitant, but then nods slowly, "Alright, I'll go hang out with Taehyung. But no sneaky surprises while I'm gone, okay?"
You chuckle, "No promises."
The next day came fast, and you tried to act casual as you watched Jungkook get ready. He stood in front of the mirror, adjusting his outfit, and you couldn't help but smile as he put on his watch and sprayed his cologne.
"Looking good," you said, leaning against the doorframe, trying not to show how excited you were for the surprise later.
He glanced at you through the mirror, a smirk spreading across his face. "I'm always looking good," he teased, flicking his wrist to show off the watch.
You giggled, walking over to him. "I meant it. You really do. You're going to look amazing for the party."
He grinned at the compliment, clearly happy. "Well, I'm looking forward to hanging out with Taehyung today too. Hopefully, we won't get into too much trouble."
You give him a wink. "Just don't come back too late," you tease, trying to stay cool and not let your excitement slip.
Jungkook pulls you into a tight hug, his arms wrapping around you as he grins. "I'd much rather be with you, you know," he says, resting his chin on top of your head.
You smile, feeling his warmth, but try to play it cool. "I know, but Taehyung's been complaining about not seeing you," you tease, leaning back just enough to look up at him. "I think you should make his day."
Jungkook laughs softly, shaking his head. "Yeah, yeah. He's been texting me non-stop about it. I'll go hang out with him, but don't expect me to be gone too long," he says, brushing a stray strand of hair from your face.
"You better not," you reply with a wink, knowing you'll have everything set up for the surprise soon.
With one last lingering kiss on your forehead, Jungkook heads out the door, leaving you with a mixture of excitement and anticipation for the surprise waiting for him later.
You quickly check the time, watching the clock tick by. After about 20 minutes, you're sure Jungkook is out of the driveway and heading off with Taehyung. You waste no time—rushing over to your phone, you text Mina and Yoongi to let them know it's go time.
Minutes later, the doorbell rings. You open the door to find Mina and Yoongi standing with eager smiles, ready to help set up. "Ready?" Mina asks, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
You nod. "Let's do this. We've got a baby shower to surprise him with."
The three of you move quickly, setting everything up as planned. Yoongi handles the music, while Mina arranges the decorations you've spent so much time picking out. Every little detail was falling into place, and you can feel the thrill of anticipation bubbling inside you.
With everything set, you glance at your phone to confirm the time—Jungkook and Taehyung should be back in about an hour. The moment is getting closer. You can't wait to see the look on Jungkook's face when he walks through the door.
You step into the backyard, feeling a wave of satisfaction as you take in the scene. The garden is transformed into a beautiful baby shower venue. The tables are perfectly set with white tablecloths and light blue accents, matching the soft floral arrangements placed at each table's center. String lights are draped across the space, giving the area a warm, cozy feel as the sun begins to set.
The chairs are neatly arranged, and you can't help but smile as you see the decorations that took hours to perfect. There's a large, circular sign at the center that reads "Baby on the Way" with some cute baby-themed designs. Balloons in soft pastels float gently in the air, swaying in the breeze, and the grass is lined with even more touches of color.
Everything looks beautiful, and the excitement builds as you wait for Jungkook to arrive. The big moment is almost here, and you're eager to see his reaction when he finally steps into the garden.
You quickly glance around the backyard one last time, making sure everything is perfect. The food is spread out on the table, and everything is in place. The decorations, the balloons, the soft music playing in the background—everything is just as you had imagined.
Then, the doorbell rings, signaling that your family and friends are here. You take a deep breath, feeling both excited and nervous. Mina and Yoongi quickly get into position, making sure everything goes smoothly.
You look at your phone and see that Jungkook is still with Taehyung, so you know it's almost time. You smile as you walk toward the front door to greet everyone, feeling a wave of happiness knowing everything is coming together. The party is about to start, and Jungkook is going to be so surprised when he sees all of his loved ones gathered to celebrate your baby.
You hug each family member as they arrive, feeling a warmth in your heart from all the love surrounding you. Your parents are first, showering you with tight hugs, their smiles so wide you can't help but feel even more grateful. Your aunts and uncles follow, each bringing their own little gifts, and your cousins are excited to see you, joking around and teasing you about your baby bump.
Your grandparents are next, and their hugs are always the most comforting. They shower you with kisses and remind you how proud they are. As they hand you their gift, you can't help but feel a mix of gratitude and joy for how much they all care for you and the baby.
Each person has their own special way of making you feel loved, and the house is filling with chatter and laughter, the perfect prelude to the big surprise.
You laugh as Jenaè pulls you into a big hug, her enthusiasm lighting up the entire space. "I knew it!" she teases, pulling away and grinning at you. "You two were meant to be from the moment I met you guys on that camping trip. Look at you now, pregnant and glowing!"
Her words make you smile even brighter, the memories of that camping trip flooding back. It feels like just yesterday that you and Jungkook were there, and now you're about to start a new chapter in your life together.
"I swear, you and Jungkook are going to be the best parents," she continues, playfully nudging your stomach. "This baby is going to be so lucky."
You can't help but feel the warmth of her words, her friendship and support making everything feel even more special.
As Hobi and Namjoon, walked in and saw you, their eyes widened in disbelief. Hobi was the first to speak up, his jaw dropping slightly. "Wait... is this real?" he asked, his voice filled with surprise and excitement. "I mean, I knew, but seeing you like this—wow, you're glowing!"
Namjoon, standing beside him, chuckled softly, his eyes softening as he looked at you. "I didn't expect this... but I'm so happy for you. You and Jungkook are going to be amazing parents." He gave you a warm, heartfelt smile.
You couldn't help but laugh at their reactions, your heart swelling with warmth. "Yeah, it's real," you said playfully, patting your growing belly. "I've been keeping it a secret, but now the cat's out of the bag."
Hobi quickly stepped forward, pulling you into a tight hug. "I'm so happy for you, Y/n. Seriously. You're going to be an awesome mom."
Namjoon nodded in agreement, his smile wide as he looked at you. "Congrats, Y/n. I can't wait to see you both as parents."
Their words filled you with joy, their excitement contagious. You could see the love and support in their eyes, and it made everything feel even more real. The baby shower was starting to feel like a celebration of not just your growing family but of the friendships and bonds you've built over the years.
When Jungkook's parents arrived, you were caught off guard by their warmth. His mom, with her soft smile, immediately stepped forward and embraced you, surprising you with how natural it felt. "Y/n, you look radiant," she said, her voice full of affection. "We're so happy for you both."
Jungkook's dad, more reserved but just as genuine, nodded with a proud smile, his hands on your shoulders as he gave you a supportive squeeze. "You're going to make a great mom," he added, his deep voice carrying sincerity.
The gesture felt like a wave of reassurance, knowing that both your families were genuinely happy for you and Jungkook. They had always been kind to you, but seeing them here now, celebrating this moment with you, felt extra special.
"Thank you both," you said, your voice a little emotional as you returned their hugs. "I really appreciate everything. It means so much to have you here today."
Jungkook's mom smiled even more brightly, clearly excited about the upcoming addition to the family. "We can't wait to meet the little one," she said with a wink. "But first, let's enjoy the party!"
The warmth of their words and their presence in the house made everything feel complete. It was as if, with their support, you were truly becoming part of a bigger family—a family that was full of love and excitement for the new chapter ahead.
As you headed upstairs to get ready, you felt a mix of excitement and nerves. Today was the day Jungkook would be surprised, and everything was coming together perfectly. You had picked out a beautiful dress for the occasion, one you had been eyeing for weeks. The soft, flowy fabric fit perfectly with the vibe of the party, and it was just the right amount of elegance for the baby shower.
You slipped into the dress, carefully adjusting it in the mirror, and then began doing your hair and makeup. The soft waves in your hair and the fresh makeup made you feel beautiful and put together. As you finished up, you took a moment to admire yourself in the mirror, proud of how far you've come.
You couldn't help but think about how much this day meant to you, how lucky you were to have Jungkook and your friends and family by your side. Everything was falling into place, and soon, you'd be welcoming the new chapter of your life with the people you loved the most.
Once you were finished, you took one last glance in the mirror before heading back downstairs, ready to join the celebration and watch as Jungkook walked into the surprise you had planned for him.
As you walked back downstairs, you could hear your mother's voice from the living room, speaking to Jungkook's mother. The warmth in her tone was unmistakable. "She looks so elegant, just like a goddess," your mother said, her voice breaking with emotion.
You stopped for a moment at the top of the stairs, a soft smile forming on your face as you heard her words. You knew she'd been looking forward to this day, just as much as you had, and the way she said it made you feel all the more special.
When you entered the living room, you saw both your mother and Jungkook's mother standing by the window. Your mother immediately wiped her eyes and rushed over to hug you. "You look so beautiful, darling," she said, her voice full of emotion, holding you tightly.
Jungkook's mother, standing next to her, also smiled warmly and gave you a hug. "She's right, you do look stunning. We're so proud of you," she said, giving you a soft kiss on your cheek.
The love and support surrounding you made everything feel even more real. Your heart swelled with joy as you looked around at the people who cared about you and your growing family. This was the moment you'd been waiting for.
Mina, with a playful glint in her eyes, nudged you gently and raised her glass of champagne. "You look absolutely gorgeous," she teased, her smile brightening the room. "I can't believe you're already this beautiful and glowing! I'm so happy for you."
She leaned in closer, her eyes sparkling mischievously. "You're killing it today. Watch out, because Jungkook is definitely going to melt when he sees you."
You couldn't help but laugh, grateful for her presence and support. Mina had been with you through so much, and now, as you prepared for the big reveal, her excitement and teasing made everything even more fun. You raised an eyebrow and smirked, "Let's just see how he reacts, shall we?"
Mina winked and took another sip of her champagne. "Oh, I can't wait to see his face. You're going to leave him speechless."
As soon as you heard the back gates creak open, your heart raced. Taehyung had sent the message just in time, and you knew Jungkook was about to walk right into the surprise. Everyone had already gotten into their spots in the garden, ready to reveal everything.
You quickly gave Mina and Yoongi a nod, signaling them to get into position. You stood at the back door, peeking through the curtains to get a glimpse of Jungkook and Taehyung approaching. Jungkook looked a little confused, probably wondering why Taehyung had brought him back this way, but his face was filled with a mix of curiosity and excitement.
Taehyung, ever the dramatic one, walked ahead, leading him toward the surprise. You could feel the tension building up, and a smile tugged at your lips as you prepared for the moment to unfold.
Jungkook's footsteps got closer, and you could hear Taehyung's teasing voice from the garden. "I don't know, man. It's a lot more than you're expecting."
Then, as Jungkook stepped through the gate, everyone burst into cheers. The decorations, the food, the balloons — it all hit him at once. His eyes widened as he took in the sight, and you could see the realization dawn on him.
You stepped out from behind the door, your smile bright and excited, "Surprise!"
Jungkook cursed under his breath, his arms wrapping around you tightly as he pulled you into a deep embrace. His voice was a mix of surprise and disbelief. "You... you really did all of this?"
You giggled softly, feeling his arms around you and the warmth of his hug. "Yes, surprise," you whispered, smiling up at him. "I wanted everything to be perfect for you... for us."
He pulled back slightly, his eyes scanning the entire garden, taking in the decorations, the guests, and the balloons floating in the air. His lips curled into a grin, and for a moment, he just stood there, speechless. "I can't believe you managed to keep this from me," he laughed, shaking his head, still in awe.
"You always keep things from me," you teased, poking him lightly in the chest. "So, I thought I'd get you back."
Jungkook chuckled, his hands cupping your face gently. "I'm glad you did." He paused for a moment, his gaze softening. "You look beautiful. I can't believe how lucky I am."
With that, he leaned in and kissed you, a sweet, tender moment between the two of you amidst the celebration.
The teasing from everyone around you both made you pull away from Jungkook, both of you laughing and slightly embarrassed. Mina, grinning with a champagne glass in her hand, winked at you, "Alright, lovebirds, save some of that for later!"
Yoongi, always the joker, smirked and added, "We get it, you're in love. But there's cake and presents to be had, people!"
You rolled your eyes playfully, still flushed from the kiss, while Jungkook chuckled, squeezing your hand. "Fine, fine," he said, but not without giving you one last playful look.
You both turned toward the crowd, making your way to the center where everyone was gathering, ready to celebrate. Jungkook kept his hand in yours, and you felt the warmth and joy radiating from everyone, knowing this was a moment to remember.
Jungkook's parents were the first to congratulate him, their faces lighting up with pride and joy. His mother stepped forward, wrapping him in a tight hug, while his father clapped him on the back with a wide grin.
"You did it, son! You're going to be a great father," his dad said, his voice full of emotion.
Jungkook's mom pulled back slightly to look him in the eyes, her voice soft yet filled with pride. "I'm so happy for you both. This is such a special day." She reached out to take your hand in hers, smiling warmly. "You're going to be an amazing mother."
Jungkook's eyes shone with emotion as he held onto you, his heart swelling with love and gratitude. He could barely contain his smile, especially when he looked at you. "Thanks, Mom... Dad. I couldn't have asked for a better moment."
You gave them both a smile, feeling their love and support fill the room. The bond between families felt even stronger now as they gathered around you both, ready to celebrate this new chapter in your lives.
The day was everything you'd hoped for, flowing smoothly just as planned. You could feel the love in the air as everyone laughed, shared stories, and celebrated. Jungkook, despite being surrounded by his family and friends, had practically clung onto you all day. Every time you caught his eye, he would smile, his gaze filled with admiration.
"You're amazing," he would whisper into your ear when no one was looking, his voice full of awe. "This whole thing... it's perfect. You did all of this, and it's beyond anything I could have imagined."
He'd often find himself standing by your side, holding your hand or his arm around your waist, as if to make sure everyone knew you were his. His eyes softened as he looked at you, clearly overwhelmed by everything you'd done for this special day.
"You're beautiful," he murmured as you both sat together for a moment, watching everyone mingle. "Not just today, but every day."
You could feel the warmth of his gaze and the depth of his feelings. He was proud, not only of the baby but of the life you were building together. Even with the hustle of the day, he couldn't seem to pull himself away from you.
As everyone gathered around, Jungkook gently but firmly guided you to sit on his lap, his arms wrapping around your waist. You couldn't help but laugh at how possessive he could be in the sweetest way. Sitting there, surrounded by friends and family, you felt a warmth in your chest, knowing that this was the moment where everything felt right.
The laughter echoed around the table, and you joined in with your friends, joking around with Mina, Yoongi, and the others. The conversation flowed naturally, with everyone taking turns sharing stories and teasing each other, while Jungkook stayed close, his hands never straying far from you.
"You really outdid yourself today," Yoongi said, a playful smirk on his face as he leaned back in his chair. "I think Jungkook might be more in awe of you than the baby at this point."
Jungkook looked down at you with a grin, his hand resting on your stomach. "She always surprises me," he said with a soft chuckle, squeezing you tighter as if to keep you close.
You all laughed again, the sound of happiness and love filling the air as the night went on. It was the perfect celebration, and despite all the planning, it felt like everything fell into place exactly how it was meant to be.
Mina gave you a knowing look, her eyes sparkling with excitement. You nodded subtly, feeling the thrill of the moment as you stood up from where you were sitting next to Jungkook. You took his hand, your pulse quickening, and guided him toward the center of the garden where the stand was set up, the crowd slowly growing quieter.
The night sky had started to appear, stars twinkling in the distance, and the garden lights shone brightly around you, adding a soft glow to the magical atmosphere.
Jungkook raised an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued. "What's going on?" he asked, looking around at the suddenly expectant faces of your family and friends.
"Just trust me," you said with a mischievous smile, squeezing his hand reassuringly as you led him further into the middle of the yard. You could feel his confusion growing, but you loved the suspense in the air.
When you reached the stand, you stepped aside to give him a clear view. The lights in the garden suddenly dimmed, and the stand flickered on, revealing a large box decorated with blue and pink ribbons. A sign on top read, "Time for the Big Reveal!"
As Jungkook stood there, still holding you tightly, Mina, with a sly grin, pressed a button hidden in her hand. The moment she did, the sky exploded with a burst of vibrant blue fireworks, lighting up the night with their stunning glow. Balloons, perfectly timed, were released from behind the stand, rising into the air in a beautiful cascade of blue, marking the reveal
Jungkook's eyes widened as his lips parted in surprise. "Wait... what is this?" He turned to face you, his expression a mix of confusion and growing excitement.
You smiled, your heart fluttering at his reaction, watching as he took it all in—the fireworks, the balloons, the love surrounding you both. The night was truly magical, the moment perfect in every way. Jungkook looked at you, his face full of joy and love.
He blinked, then turned to look at you, his eyes softening. "Wait... is this..." His voice faltered as the truth sank in.
You grinned, stepping closer to him, and softly said, "It's a boy, Jungkook. We're having a baby boy."
His expression shifted from shock to pure joy in an instant. His eyes welled with tears as he pulled you into a tight, emotional hug, his voice trembling with disbelief. "I'm going to be a dad... a boy... wow."
The crowd erupted into cheers, clapping and congratulating you both, but all you could focus on was Jungkook—his love, his joy, and the beautiful future ahead. The soft glow of the garden lights, the stars above, and the love in the air made everything feel so surreal.
Jungkook pulled you into a long, passionate kiss, his emotions overwhelming him. His hands gently cupped your face, pulling you closer as if he never wanted to let you go. The joy of knowing he was going to be a father to a baby boy, his son, filled him with a happiness he'd never felt before. Tears welled up in his eyes as he pulled back just slightly, looking into yours.
"I can't believe it... a boy," he whispered, his voice thick with emotion. "I never thought I'd be this emotional, but knowing it's with you... it's all so real now." His hands found their way to your stomach, where his child was growing, and he smiled through the tears.
The night sky seemed to shine even brighter as Jungkook held you close, his heart full of love for both you and the baby. The feeling of his joy was contagious, and you couldn't help but smile, knowing that your family was growing, and everything felt right.
You heard Yoongi's loud cheer from the back, and when you turned to see him, he was grinning, holding up a crisp £100 note. "Told you he'd cry!" he said, clearly pleased with himself. Everyone laughed, but Jungkook's face turned a little pink from the teasing.
Jungkook shook his head, wiping his eyes and trying to laugh it off. "Yoongi, seriously?" he muttered, still trying to catch his breath from the wave of emotions.
But the moment was too perfect, and everyone was too happy to let it ruin the fun. Yoongi gave you a wink, knowing you'd probably had a feeling about the bet, but he was still proud of himself.
Jungkook, now fully composed, turned back to you, his hands still on your stomach. "It's worth every tear," he said softly, smiling. "A baby boy... I can't believe it."
Jungkook couldn't contain himself. In that moment, overwhelmed with joy and emotion, he pulled you closer, kissing you deeply. It was a kiss filled with so much love and happiness, as if he was pouring all of his emotions into that one embrace. The world seemed to fade around you both as the fireworks continued to light up the sky in the background.
You could feel the intensity of his affection, his hands gently cupping your face as he deepened the kiss. His love for you, for the baby, was overwhelming, and you could feel every ounce of it in that kiss. He pulled away just for a second, his forehead resting against yours, both of you smiling.
"You're everything to me," he whispered, still catching his breath, his eyes filled with nothing but love. "I love you so much."
You pulled away from the kiss, a bit breathless, and looked over at Mina. She was grinning widely, snapping photos of the moment with her phone. You couldn't help but laugh, feeling a little embarrassed yet happy at the same time.
"Stop taking so many pictures, Mina!" you playfully scolded, but the joy in your voice made it clear you didn't mind at all.
Jungkook chuckled, his arms still around you. "Let her have her fun. I think she's been waiting for this moment."
Mina raised her eyebrows, continuing to take pictures. "Hey, this is history! I need to capture it all!" she teased, her smile so wide you could tell she was genuinely happy for both of you.
Jungkook chuckled and pulled you close again, his arm around your waist. "Well, then let's make this a memory we'll never forget."
Jungkook gently placed his hands on your stomach, his eyes softening as he stared at you, then down at your belly. His expression was filled with awe, a mix of love and disbelief that he was about to become a father to a baby boy.
"You know," he murmured, his voice a little more hushed, "I can't believe I'm going to be a dad... to a little boy. With you." He leaned in, pressing a kiss to your forehead, his hands still resting on your stomach protectively. "I'll do anything for both of you."
You smiled, feeling a rush of love as you gazed up at him. It felt so real now, the weight of everything settling in, but it was a feeling of pure happiness and warmth. "I know, Jungkook. We're in this together."
He smiled back, eyes full of emotion, and for a moment, it was just the two of you, surrounded by friends and family, but lost in your own world of excitement and anticipation for what the future held.
You quickly rushed to the side, your heart racing with excitement as you grabbed the small, neatly wrapped gift you had set aside for Jungkook. You couldn't wait to see his reaction—it was something special you had been planning for a while. Holding the present tightly in your hands, you returned to Jungkook, who was still standing there, watching you with soft eyes.
"I almost forgot," you said, smiling as you handed him the gift. "I got you something."
Jungkook looked surprised, his eyebrows raising. "For me?" he asked, a grin spreading across his face as he took the package from you.
"Yeah, open it!" you urged, feeling a wave of excitement and a little nervousness.
He carefully tore off the wrapping paper, revealing a sleek, black box. Inside was a custom-made bracelet, engraved with both your initials and a small charm shaped like a tiny baby bottle. His eyes widened as he pulled it out, clearly touched by the thought you'd put into it.
"I thought it would be a nice reminder," you explained softly. "That you're going to be a dad. And that we're in this together."
Jungkook stared at the bracelet for a moment, his smile growing. His eyes softened, and he shook his head in disbelief. "You really know how to make me feel special," he murmured, looking up at you, a mix of gratitude and love in his gaze.
He quickly slipped it onto his wrist, his hand resting over it as he pulled you into a tight hug, his voice full of emotion. "Thank you, Y/n. I love it."
Jungkook looked at you with a soft, adoring smile, his hands gently resting on your stomach. "I can't wait to officially make you mine, a Mrs. Jeon," he said, his voice filled with tenderness and excitement.
His words hung in the air, and for a moment, you felt a rush of warmth in your chest. The thought of becoming Mrs. Jeon sounded so perfect, so right. But as the words echoed in your mind, a small, unexpected weight tugged at your heart, and you couldn't help but feel a flicker of uncertainty.
You smiled, trying to mask the conflicting emotions swirling inside, but Jungkook caught it. His eyes softened, concern flickering across his face as he gently cupped your cheek.
"What's wrong?" he asked, his voice low and gentle. "You okay?"
For a moment, you hesitated, unsure of how to express the tangled emotions you were feeling. But you quickly masked it with a smile, trying to reassure him.
"Yeah, I'm fine," you said, nodding quickly. "Just thinking about everything. It's just... so much. But I'm really happy. I can't wait for our future."
Jungkook's eyes searched yours for a moment, then he smiled, brushing a strand of hair from your face. "It's going to be amazing," he said softly, his thumb tracing your jawline. "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you and our little boy."
His words wrapped around you like a warm embrace, and you melted into his touch, feeling comforted by his unwavering love. You closed your eyes for a moment, savoring the feeling of being so close to him, knowing that despite your doubts, this was your future—together.
You gently pulled away from Jungkook, offering him one last smile before heading back to the crowd. As you made your way through the garden, you could feel the warmth of everyone's attention, their smiles and cheers making the whole evening even more special.
You joined the group of friends and family, pulling out your phone to show them pictures from the gender reveal. Everyone gathered around, oohing and aahing at the sweet shots of Jungkook's emotional reaction and the fireworks that lit up the sky. Mina and Yoongi were quick to join in, teasing Jungkook and joking around about how emotional he had gotten.
The energy was light, filled with laughter and excitement. You felt so incredibly loved and supported, and you couldn't help but feel grateful for the people in your life. You listened to everyone share their excitement for the baby, their well wishes for the future, and their jokes about what the little boy would be like.
It was a perfect moment, one that would stay with you forever. And as you glanced over at Jungkook, who was chatting with your parents and smiling at you, you felt the warmth of his love radiating through the room, knowing this was just the beginning of your beautiful journey together.
As the last guests left, the quiet of the night settled over the garden. You and Jungkook remained outside, away from the hustle and bustle of the party, sitting together on a bench beneath the stars. The cool night air brushed against your skin, but you felt warm in Jungkook's embrace as he held you close.
His arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you into him, and you rested your head on his chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart. The sound of crickets and the occasional breeze filled the silence, making it feel peaceful, just the two of you in the world.
Jungkook looked up at the sky, his hand gently caressing your stomach. "I can't believe it's really happening," he murmured, his voice soft. "We're going to have a baby. A little boy."
You smiled, lifting your head slightly to meet his eyes. "Yeah, we are," you said, your heart swelling with happiness. "And he's going to have the best parents."
Jungkook kissed your forehead, pulling you even closer. "I can't wait to start this journey with you. We're going to make an amazing family."
You nodded, feeling so sure of the path ahead, knowing that no matter what came your way, you'd have each other and the little one on the way. "I love you, Jungkook," you whispered.
"I love you too," he replied, his voice filled with so much emotion.
The world felt still around you, but in that moment, everything was perfect.
