Apologies? 26

Jackson hugged Mark back both hugging each other not wanting to let go. Mark felt happy yet so guilty at the same time. He couldn't forgive himself for hurting the person he loved so much. He started crying.

He hugged Jackson harder. He cried on the other's shoulder. Feeling all the regret and pain he had bottled up inside himself. He cried and cried letting everything he had bottled up inside finally go.

Jackson swallowed the lump in his throat. He started crying as well and hugged Mark harder. Taking in the others sweet smell.

Mark was hugging Jackson when he remembered that the other had a girlfriend. He instantly let go making the other confuse.

"I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have run up to you. You have a girlfriend. I'm sorry."

Mark turned to leave, but Jackson soon stopped him by grabbing his wrist.

"I- I broke up with her Mark."

Mark stopped at those words and stood there facing the ground. He felt even more terrible for what he had caused now. He started crying and felt Jackson wipe them away.

"Mark stop crying please."

"I'm sorry it's just that. I feel so terrible about everything I've done to you. I'm so sorry Jackson. I never meant to hurt you, but I did and I'm a terrible person for that. I was selfish and hurt your feelings. I'm so sorry. These past two years I've been thinking about you everyday. I always wondered if you were okay. I'm just extremely sorry for everything I've ever done to hurt you. I hope you can forgive me, but if you can't I understand. I'm sorry."

Mark cried and Jackson wiped his tears again. He grabbed Marks waist and hugged the other. Mark snaked his arms around Jackson's neck trying to steady his breathing.

"I forgive you Mark. What you did wasn't right, but I know you meant no harm. I'm sorry for just leaving and not letting you explain yourself. I'm sorry for making us suffer this much. Will you forgive me?"

Mark let out a breath and placed his face on the others neck.

"I'm the one who has to apologize not you. Of course I forgive. Jackson let's start over. I-I really like you and I want to give us a try, but I want to do it right."

Jackson felt so happy. He let go of Mark who looked at him and extended his hand out.

"Hello my name is Mark Tuan. I'm from LA. What's your name?"

"I'm Jackson Wang. I'm from Hong Kong."

They both shook hands and smiled at each other. Mark started giggling and Jackson felt his heart skip a beat. That night Jackson walked Mark to his house. The two catching up on their two years apart.
