Possessive

Jason POV

"Oh, Leo I forgot to mention one thing about this trip," I said.

"And what would that be?" Leo said with a raised eyebrow. Shit he looks hot, but in two seconds he is going to look hot and very angry.

"Nico and Will are coming with us," I rushed out.

"Jason Grace why in the Olympus didn't you tell me!?" Leo demanded.

"Please don't be upset!" I begged.

Leo opened his mouth to continue arguing with me, but swiftly shut it when he saw something behind me. I turned around to see that Nico and Will were walking down the hill towards the car. I turned back to Leo. He snagged my collar and pulled me down so that his mouth was by my ear. I felt his hot breath fan on to my neck as I gulped back a squeak. "You are lucky that I'm friends with Will otherwise I would not be happy about an across country car ride with other people." He whispered with finality.

I knew that Leo had trouble with people. I should have warned him that others were coming, but I didn't want to scare him away from the trip. I really wanted to spend some time with Leo when we weren't hiding our arrangement or when we weren't in public at Camp Half Blood. Hopefully, Leo won't mind too much once we get driving.

"Hey guys," Will said as he and Nico joined us by the car we were borrowing for the trip.

"Hey," Leo responded.

"You two all ready to go?" I asked as I turned my attention towards Nico.

"Yep," Nico assured me. I looked back over to Leo just to see that Will and Leo were already mid conversation. I knew that they were friends, but I noticed how they both were smiling and laughing at something Leo had said. My gut twisted slightly, but I did my best to ignore it. Leo wasn't my boyfriend or even friends with benefits, I could not get jealous.

We piled into the car. I drove, Leo was in shot gun, and Will and Nico were in the backseat. All of our luggage was in the trunk and we were ready to go. I should probably acknowledge that it was about four in the morning. We want to get an early start and beat traffic getting out of New York City. Leo set up his monster proof phone on Bluetooth and turned around in his seat to face Will and Nico.

"I can tell by the Panic! At the Disco shirt that Will is wearing that Alternative and Punk is the way to go music wise." Leo says. Will smiled and Nico nodded his head in agreement. "Get ready for Bad Boy Supreme's super awesome road trip playlist of amazingness." Leo hit shuffle on his playlist and I pulled the car away from the base of Half Blood Hill and started our journey.

"Anything you say can and will be held against you," Will and Leo sang at the top of their lungs. I chuckled slightly at the two who have sung along with every song that has come on during the whole trip. We were almost at Camp Jupiter and I was excited to see the camp again. It has been much to long since I last visited and half the Seven were there anyway. I knew that Hazel, Frank, Reyna, and Piper will be there to greet us when we finally made it to the camp.

At some point during the drive my hand found its way to Leo's upper thigh and I have been rubbing circles on it for almost the whole ride. At times, his hand will rest on top of mine, and at others he will lace his fingers with mine. The contact reassured me that there was always someone there, even though I could see him out of the corners of my eyes in the passenger's seat.

I pulled up to Camp Jupiter and parked the car. Everyone climbed out quickly and grabbed their few bags from the trunk.

"There you guys are!" I heard Piper call.

"Hey Pipes," Leo said running over to hug her. We went down the line with hugs and greetings. It was amazing to finally be together again. They only people who were missing were Percy and Annabeth, but they were with Sally and Paul for a vacation from being a demigod.

"Okay, you guys know where your apartments are in the city, go settle in and we'll see you guys at the party tonight," Reyna said.

"Party?" I questioned.

"You really think that the Romans would welcome back their favorite son of Jupiter without a party?" Frank asked. "We invented partying remember?" I chucked in response and then grabbed Leo's hand to drag him to my apartment in the city.

"I'll be right back, I'm going to grab another soda, okay?" I informed Leo.

"Okay," Leo affirmed for me.

I went over to the refreshments table of the party to grab another soda. I saw Reyna leaning against the table and went to join her for a little while.

"Hey," I said trying to capture her attention, which was focused solely on a certain daughter of Aphrodite who was dancing in a crowd of people.

"Hey Grace," she answered without ever taking her eyes off of Piper. I hide my laugh behind my hand at that. I will never get over how independent Reyna managed to become so whipped for Piper, but then again, I was the same exact way with Leo.

"So, what's going on with you and Valdez?" Reyna asked with a tone of nonchalance. I, on the other hand, choked on my soda and almost spit it out.

"N-N-Nothing," I tried to lie back.

"Dude, I know you, and you have only looked at two people the way you look at Leo. Those people are Piper, well at least you used to before the break up, and Leo himself. You like him," Reyna said it like in was the simplest thing in the world. But Leo, Leo was far from simple, and that's what I liked best about him. He was a puzzle of gears and tricks that I want to piece together to see the beautiful picture that it makes. Reyna snapped her fingers in front of my face to pull me out of my daydream. "Earth to Jason Grace."

"Sorry I zoned out," I replied.

"Thinking about Leo?" she teased.

"Well yeah," I admitted a little sheepishly.

"Well then, hate to break it to you lover boy, but some other guy is moving in on your man," Reyna warned me. My eyes snapped away from her and towards where I left Leo in the crowd. I saw a very uncomfortable looking Leo and another guy who was most definitely hitting on my boy. Wait, Leo isn't even really mine.

I try to convince myself that if someone is flirting with Leo then it is none of my business. However, my body took action anyway and I ended up marching over there with my fists clenched and my wolf stare in full effect. I came up from behind Leo and when I reached them I wrapped my arms around Leo's thin waist.

"Hey babe, you ready to get out of here?" I asked Leo while never taking my eyes off the other guy.

"Excuse me, we were in the middle of a conversation," the guy snapped at me. Okay that's it. I don't know who this guy thinks he is, but he is about to meet possessive Jason and he isn't going to like him.

"You're excused," I snap back as I roll my eyes at him.

"Who even are you?" the guy asked, obviously angry.

"His boyfriend," I dead panned. The guy's mouth hung open and he stared between Leo and I in shock. I felt Leo's hands meet mine, he must have figured out what I was trying to do.

"Yeah honey, I think I'm ready to get out of here," Leo said, and with that I wrapped one arm around his waist and lend him out of the party. I was glad to be away from that guy and anyone else that could try to make a move on Leo. I held on until we were inside the apartment we were sharing. We got ready for bed in silence, but once we were cuddled up in the large king bed, Leo finally asked his questions.

"So, we're dating now?" Leo asked, sarcasm and sass dripped from his voice.

"I'm sorry, its just you looked so uncomfortable, and I didn't know what else to do." I explained in a rush.

"Really? Because it looked to me like a certain someone was jealous," Leo said trying to eye me on.

"It's not jealously, its possessiveness," I said in a sad attempt to defend myself.

"Well, I could get used to Possessive Jason then," Leo replied.

I had absolutely no idea how to respond to that. Luckily, Leo fell asleep before I needed to think of something to say back. I just sighed and closed my eyes. I know that I shouldn't have interfered. I know that I am way to possessive over Leo. I know that this arrangement can only end badly. But I also know that I have completely fallen for Leo so I don't care enough to stop.
