PART 19

Flashback continuation

Lara saw it all as she was about to enter to check on Yibo and Zhan. "What's going on here?" she asked, causing Yibo to let go of Liying, who glared at her mother.

Lara: "Where's Zhanzhan?"

"Zhanzhan again" Liying muttered.

Yibo; "He's in his room, Mom. He's not feeling well."

"Go to his room. I'll take care of your cooking" Lara instructed, and Yibo immediately left. Liying was about to follow him, but her mother stopped her. "What did I just see?" she asked calmly.

"You saw it, so why ask?" Liying replied arrogantly. "And now you're disrespecting me. Whatever you're planning, don't continue. He's your brother's fiancé. Learn to respect that." Lara said firmly.

"Why does it always have to be him? Why can't I be the one to marry Yibo? I'm older than Zhan, aren't I? I want him" Liying said which caused Lara's eyes to widen and Sebastian, who was about to enter the kitchen, frowned. "What did you say?" Sebastian asked angrily, but Liying didn't respond. "I'll ask you again, what did you say?"

Liying: "I like Yibo. I should be the one to marry him."

Sebastian: "Liying, behave yourself. If you don't want me sent you abroad, don't disrupt your brother's relationship."

"Why is it always him? Why is he always the favored one? I only want Yibo. I love him, and I'll do anything to stop their wedding" Liying shouted. Unable to contain himself, Sebastian slapped Liying.

"How can you say he is favored when we have to hide just to play with your brother because you don't want it, that we have to make excuses to bring him out, that we have to ask your permission to buy things for him. because you get angry every time we do that and know why we always follow you, because he is ready to give you everything you want, just don't get angry or sulk with him, he loves you.You're her favourite sister. We've given you everything you wanted, even if we knew we couldn't give the same to him." He paused.

"Now you want to take the person he loves too? Sorry, but I won't let that happen. If I have to lock you up to keep you from disturbing them, I will." Sebastian said, then left the kitchen.

"Yibo, why are you holding his hand? Were you together last night?” Liying asked angrily.

“My god, Liying, your child A-yuan is in the hospital and that’s what you’re asking?” Gu Wei asked while trying to remove Yibo’s hand, but Yibo tightened his grip. Gu Wei looked around and noticed that people in the hospital were starting to pay attention to them.

“To shut you up, yes, Yibo and I were together last night. You heard what he said, didn’t you? And could you please let go of my hand, Mr. Wang?” Gu Wei said angrily. But Yibo ignored him.

Liying’s phone suddenly beeped, indicating she had received a message. Still holding Yibo’s hand, she checked the message, thinking it might be from the hospital, but she got angrier upon seeing the contents.

Yibo had his back turned while facing Gu Wei, and from their position, it looked like they were kissing. One picture showed Yibo holding Gu Wei’s waist and another of Yibo assisting Gu Wei into his car. In her anger, Liying grabbed Gu Wei by the hair.

“You’re really shameless! You already have a fiancé, yet you’re still seducing my husband. Isn’t one man enough for you?” Yibo stepped between them and, unable to control Liying, forcefully pushed her, causing her to fall to the floor.

“Yibo, you pushed me? Did you really push me?” Liying asked angrily.

“How could I not push you when you suddenly attack without reason? Has your mind deteriorated that much?” Yibo replied angrily, seemingly forgetting where they were.

“No reason? What is this then? Isn’t that enough reason for me to be angry?” Liying asked, throwing her phone at Yibo. Yibo picked it up, saw the pictures of him and Gu Wei, and was about to throw the phone away, but Gu Wei stopped him.

“Don’t waste the phone” Gu Wei said with a secretive grin. Yibo turned his gaze to Liying.

“So you had me followed?” Yibo asked sternly. It was only then that Liying realized she had exposed herself. She quickly stood up and grabbed Yibo’s hand.

Gu Wei approached her. "And for pulling out my hair" Gu Wei slapped Liying hard. "I'm contented with one man, but there are people who need to make up stories to destroy other people's relationships" Gu Wei said which caused Yibo and Liying to look at him as if it was a big deal than he slapped Liying.
