"I'll give you a good angle of taking a photo to give to the psychopath Liying. Gu Wei thought.

Right on time, after five minutes, Gu Wei saw Yibo's car. "This is just the beginning. Everything Liying has, I'll slowly take away. After all, it was mine to begin with. I'm just reclaiming it in a painful way" Gu Wei said as he watched Yibo approach.

"There was a time when I admired Liying for her perfection when we were kids, but now all of that has turned into hatred to the point where I no longer consider her my kin. She's disgusting." Gu Wei's thought and closed his eyes. "While Zhan is sitting wherever he is, because he is blindfolded, he cannot see what is around him, but he knows the voice of the person giving orders.

"I want you to torture him every day, do everything you know how to torture, I don't want to see his face, it's just funny that everything I plan goes along with me"

Gu Wei took a deep breath. and opened his eyes when he heard Yibo's knock on the window of his car.

Instead of opening his car door, Gu Wei rolled down the window, bringing their faces very close together. Gu Wei smiled at him. "You got here fast" he said, and their proximity rendered Yibo speechless.

From the corner of his eye. Gu Wei saw a car that made him both relieved and happy. "Let's go" Gu Wei said, and Yibo stepped back to let Gu Wei open his car door. "Weren't you busy? You got here quickly."

Yibo: "I was heading to the company anyway."

"Oh, sorry for the inconvenience. I don't know anyone here, and I'm not comfortable mingling with people. I'm afraid they might hurt me." What he said was true; he feared people because when he was abroad, he has regular psychotherapy. (I would appreciate it more if you correct me with this hahaha)

Yibo's phone rang again. "It might be important. You should answer it" Gu Wei said. Yibo looked at his phone and saw it was Lara calling, something Gu Wei also noticed. "Answer it" Gu Wei insisted. "Okay, just a moment." Yibo said.

"Hello, Mom."

"Yibo, where are you? I've been waiting for you."

Yibo glanced at Gu Wei, who stayed close enough to overhear the conversation. "My son is in the hospital" Yibo told Gu Wei. "Let's go see him" Gu Wei immediately offered. "Are you sure?" Gu Wei nodded with a smile.

"Okay, Mom, we're on our way" Yibo said and ended the call. He suggested they use his car, which Gu Wei agreed to. Once they got into the car, Gu Wei borrowed Yibo's phone, claiming his battery was low. "Thanks."

On the way to the hospital, Liying's name appeared on Yibo's phone, but before it could ring, Gu Wei silenced and rejected the call. "Are you close to your child?" Gu Wei asked out of the blue. Yibo didn't know how to respond, and Gu Wei noticed his hesitation.

"We don't talk that often" Yibo replied plainly. Gu Wei gripped the phone tightly. "Your other child" he asked again, and his heart broke seeing a faint smile on Yibo's lips. "What are you doing, Yibo?" Gu Wei asked himself. Before Yibo could respond, Gu Wei spoke again. "I think that's the hospital" he said, and indeed, they were in front of the hospital.

Yibo parked the car, and they quickly went inside. "Room 85" Yibo said. When they arrived, they found Sebastian and Lara sitting outside. They were surprised to see Gu Wei and Yibo together. "Where is he?" Yibo asked. "He's inside. The doctor said he'll need to stay for a few more weeks because one of his ribs is broken, he has a high fever, and bruises on his back. He said he fell but didn't mention it because he didn't want to worry you." Lara explained. Gu Wei suddenly turned pale and sat down.

"Are you okay?" Yibo asked, noticing Gu Wei's paleness.

"I'm fine. Go to him, he needs you. I'll stay here."

"Okay."

"We'll go home briefly to get his things since he'll need to stay here for a while."

"Okay, Mom, thank you."
