“F@ck y@u!” She cursed, turning her attention to Yibo's clothes on the bed. She sniffed and frowned, recognizing a man’s scent instead of a woman's perfume. She knew Yibo’s perfume. "This scent is familiar, but I can’t remember where I’ve smelled it" she thought.

"What are you doing?" Yibo asked, emerging from the bathroom and grabbing his clothes from her. "Aren't you going to clean up your mess?" Yibo asked, but Liying just stared at him. "Get out, I need to change."

"We’re married, why should I leave?"

"Liying, I’ve had enough of you" Yibo said, taking his clothes and moving to the guest room. After changing, he left the house for the office.

Shortly after, Liying received a call that Andro’s condition was critical and headed straight to the hospital. She was frantic after hearing the nurse's report from the school and drove quickly to the hospital.

Meanwhile, Lara and Sebastian received a message from an unknown number instructing them to go to Liying's house because A-yuan was feeling unwell. Though they didn’t know who sent the message, they hurried to Liying's house, only to be stopped by the helpers who refused them entry as per Liying’s orders.

Not far from Liying's house, a car was parked. "Thank you" Gu Wei murmured as he saw Sebastian carrying A-yuan. "Just a little longer, A-yuan, and Dada will take you away. No one will hurt you anymore when that happens. I’m sorry I’m not there to protect you because your father is blinded by his foolishness over Liying" Gu Wei said wiping his tears, watching the car drive away.

While Yibo was in the car, his phone rang, and he quickly answered it. "Mom, what happened?" Yibo asked Lara. "Come to the hospital. We brought A-yuan here because of a high fever" Lara replied. Yibo was shocked. "Isn't he at school?" Yibo asked, but instead of answering, Lara hurriedly told him to get there quickly.

"I'm on my way" Yibo said and ended the call. But his phone rang again, and this time he didn't answer Liying's calls twice. However, when he read Liying's message, he immediately changed his route and sped up. "Andro's condition is critical. We're at the hospital."

Meanwhile, when Sebastian and Lara arrived at the hospital, Gu Wei stayed in the car. After a while, he saw Lara waiting for someone.

Gu Wei angrily slammed the steering wheel of his car. "YIBO! YOU WENT TO SEE HER CHILD INSTEAD! YOU'RE A WORTHLESS FATHER!" Gu Wei shouted inside the car. His hands trembled as he looked at his phone.

After a few minutes, he smirked meaningfully and dialed Yibo's number. It only rang once before it was answered. "Hello" Gu Wei said, and Yibo immediately recognized his voice but still asked, "Who is this?"

"This is Gu Wei. I got your number from Lay. Today is my first day at your company, and if you're not busy, I'd like you to give me a tour and explain what I need to do" Gu Wei said. Yibo was silent on the other end. "Are you there? If you're busy, never mind," Gu Wei added, about to hang up. But Yibo quickly spoke up. "Wait for me in the parking lot in five minutes." Gu Wei smiled broadly and nodded as if Yibo could see him. "Thank you, Mr. Wang," he said and ended the call.

"If you can't go to A-yuan because of Liying's child, it's better if you can't go to either of them" Gu Wei muttered as he started the car and headed to Yibo's company, grateful that it wasn't far from the hospital.
