Chapter VIII

I woke up to the sunlight flooding my eyes. I groaned from the burning feeling, but before I could move, a pair of arms stopped me.

I looked down to meet a sky blue gaze.

"Morning, you sleep well?" He asked.

"Haven't had a better sleep in a long time" I chuckled.

There was a slight pause before Mello spoke.

"Listen (y/n), I'm sorry about yesterday... I understand you had to call Near... but..." he began.

But before he could finish, I shush him by placing my index finger on his lips.

"It's okay Mello, really" I assured the blonde.

He just smiled up at me and I lower my head to connect our lips for a few moments.

I got off him and stood to my feet and stretched, feeling my muscles and bones 'pop'.

"I'm going for a shower" I tell him and made my way to the bathroom.

*time skip*

I had just finished washing the strawberry scented conditioner out of my hair, but before I could turn the tap off. I heard the bathroom door open.

I wasn't worried about him seeing me because the shower glass was tinted/blurred.

I thought he was going to leave, Instead, I heard the rustling of clothing. That could only mean one thing.

"Mells? What are you doing?" I asked him confused.

"I just thought I'd join you~" he purred as he got in behind me and pulled me into a back hug.

"Mello!" I squeaked in surprise, my face many different shades of red.

Mello began to glide his tongue over the nape of my neck, almost teasingly.

I moan slightly, encouraging the blonde to proceed.

He wrapped his arms around my waist, bringing us closer.

I gasp at the feeling of heat and hardness.

"M-Mello stop... N-not in here" I stuttered nervously.

"Well let's continue this in the bedroom" he breathed into my ear as he turned the shower taps off.
