Chapter 3

                         -what was I made for?-

Jordan's POV:

What is wrong with Stella...I scan her face for anything. An emotion,anything. But all I can see is bright red glowing eyes. This is her powers at work.

I watch as Marie goes over and taps Stella on the shoulder. Probably not the best idea since we don't know what Stella is capable of but hey I won't stop her. Sure this sounds really fucking dumb but I can't help but feel concern with a mix of like for Stella even though I just met her. Weird right. I just met the girl and I feel so fucking drawn to her. But I can do or say anything anyway. Because she's probably straight and I don't want to make things worse since I denied her into the hero program. So I'm the reason for this power episode she's in. I didn't know it was her. That's sounds fucked up but it's true. My thoughts get caught off by Marie getting thrown into the door to Professor Brinks office. My eyes snap to Stella. Her hands glowing red pointed at the direction she launched Marie.

"Sunshine..." I moved In front of my desk carefully moving towards Stella."Stay away from me!" She shoots a small energy beam to push me into the desk causing me to fall on the ground hard. Fuck.. I reached to the side of my head. Fuck me that hurt. I pull away my hand to revealed blood. I guess a little blood never hurt anyone. I push myself up and head slowly towards my girl.

I reach out and carefully place my hand on her hand directing her attention all to me. Her eyes. Holy fuck...glowing the darkest shade of red I have ever seen. I keep eye contact the whole time,I know she is scared. I read her file after I knew she was my roommate. Deep down she is scared of these powers and I know for a fact if she hurts anyone else she will never forgive herself so I'm going to make sure she doesn't. Just in case this turns out bad,I switch so now if she hits me with her insanely powerful energy powers that she has, I will be okay still.

Just as she is about to shoot another beam of red energy towards Marie,I tighten my grip around her hand. Her attention gets pointed to me now. Good that's what I need. Just as I was about to try to get her to calm down professor Brink opens his office door in a hurry. By just looking at him I know that he trust me to handle this since I caused it. I nod my head towards his door so he goes back inside so he doesn't get hurt. He gets the message and goes back into his office. Now all my attention is on Stella. Marie is still passed out by getting thrown across the room so now it's just me and her.

"Sunshine listen to me. I know your scared and angry at me so I need you Stella to focus now on me." I pull a tight smile."Your safe okay. I need you to calm down. Okay I need you to be okay. Remember me and you,we are going out later to the club. The one I invited you too"

...."J-Jordan?"A stutter comes out from Stella. Thank god this is working.

"That's it sunshine,it's me remember." I placed her hand on my heart. The dark red energy around her starts to fade."What happened..." she lets out in a whisper as her eyes look around the now in a confused way."I happened. I did a dick thing to you and your friend and well you got really fucking upset and your powers took control over you"

I can see as a lightbulb in her head goes off. She remembers....

Stella's pov:It happened again... My eyes look around the room and straight away I spot Marie passed out on the ground. Did I do that.... I bent down shaking Marie to try and wake her up. I hurt my friend, the only fucking friend I had."Come on Marie. Wake up please, I'm so so sorry" I can see her eyes starting to stir open. Thank-you god.

"Stella is that you?" Marie stutters trying to sit up. "Yeah yeah it's me, I'm so sorry I never meant for this to happen" she grabs my hands in one. I lift my head to look into her eyes. "Hey it's Stella, if anyone would get not knowing the full power of you powers it would be me. It's going to take a lot more then getting thrown into a door to kill me" she forms a tight smile.

"Still I hurt you and-"

Jordan! I totally forgot! They got me out of whatever trance I was in. I quickly stood up and went to where Jordan was leaning against a wall.

"Oh gosh Jordan are you okay?!" I see a deepish cut on their forehead. Fuck. I place my hand on top of their forehead. They winced."Hey sunshine,careful there." They reached out touching my cheek wiping away the new freshly tears streaming down my face."No need to cry over me sunshine, I'm the dick whose basically the cause of this episode of yours" Jordan forms a smile that could never get old."Look, I don't normally say this often but I'm really sorry. I was wrong,both you and Marie are way more capable for the hero program that I could've imagined." Smiling is starting to feel like the only thing that I do now around Jordan.

" uhm excuse me love birds." Marie coughs while trying to stand up. Oh shit oops. I particularly run to Marie's side to help her up. "I suppose if Jordan will now accept us in. We have to get working on that being able to control your powers kind of thing." I laughed nervously. "Yeah I guess, Jordan?" I say while facing smiling Jordan. That's not something you see everyday. "I'll good with me sunshine." Jordan says.

"Hero program here we come!" I laughed genuinely for the first time in I don't know how long. This is good. Things may just be looking up now.....

"Yeah that's a no for me miss.Stella."
