Chapter 2

-start over-Stellas pov:

Took a good 10 mins to find the proper field that held this special practice of some sorts. This place is fucking massive. Going down the steep stairs,honestly gives me ptsd from those big as flights of stairs to the dorms. But I down the row I landed on, I spot two girls sitting alone in the row. Taking a closer look,getting closer they seem to look um nice.

Like the creep I am, I quietly sit on the chair a few chairs down from the blond one. Tilting my head towards the main part of the field. Not even skipping a beat,the blondie speaks up.

"Are you new too?" She turns her head to be facing me.Ah shit. I particularly chock on my own spit. Be cool Stella...be cool. Just say yes.

I turn so I'm facing the two girls now both looking at me. "Yes.i am"

The other girl spoke up. Oh my gosh I love her hair. She patted to the seat next to her and the blondie."Here,come sit."

"Oh thank-you. I'm Stella by the way" I quickly got up and moved to the seat next to them.

"I'm new too. I'm Marie and this is.." she gestures to the girl next to her to speak up. "I'm Emma. You here to watch golden boy too?" She asks with a squint because of the bright sun.

.....Is she talking about a superhero cause the only one I know is Jordan. I think I've literally just been living under a rock.

"Um sorry...who?"I swear I could hear crickets. Before my eardrums got bursted. "WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU AND MARIE BEEN?!.....um sorry didn't mean to yell. But honestly I guess I have to do a-"

I surprisingly cut her off..oops"I do know one though!!" I pause "oh um sorry but I'm currently roommates with Jordan Li...have you heard of them?"Huh even more crickets

.....Emma just staring at me wide eyed not speaking a word. While Marie has the awkward smile on her face like she doesn't know them either.

"ARE YOU FUCKING WITH ME STELLA?!"   Emma literally launches herself off her seat and comes towards where I'm sitting

Did I say something wrong...She looks me straight in the eyes with an determined expression.

"Um..no"I said with an awkward laugh while silently looking at Marie with the look of 'what's going on' but all I get back is the 'who knows' look. I feel like as women when we look at each other we just know what the other is thinking.

Emma pulls out her phone and practically shoves it in my face. Pointing to Jordan on the screen next to a 2? I particularly hit myself in the face for not knowing that Jordan was THAT popular. Like look,I knew they were pretty known but damn get it I guess. A ding was heard from mine and Emma's phone. "Huh the class schedules are out" Emma said in just any normal tone. My eyes go wide as well as Marie's. THE CLASS SCHEDULES ARE OUT?! I quickly race to the page on my phone. I have to get in. I have too.

I can feel as my smile drops from my face. A loud sigh exits my mouth. I place my phone on my thigh. What am I going to do. The one program I needed to get into,I didn't. When my parents find out they are just going to send me back home because it was either I can show them I can use my powers for good by being a hero. If I can't do that.... Im just going to be stuck back in my parents house living their perfect life for me. Where I'm away from any but civilization so there is no way that I can hurt them or anyone else. I can't give up...not just yet. You know what, being part of a hero is standing up for what's right. So that's exactly what I'm going to do. Do I know exactly how I'm going to do it. No. But! I can at least try to achieve my dream.

A determined look goes over my face as I quickly get out of my seat. I look over towards confused Emma and it looks like an upset Marie.

"Im going to go talk to professor brink. They didn't put me in the class I need to have to achieve my goal. So I'm going to and convince him that I am good enough to get into the hero program and be the hero that my parents will be proud of." Silence. I look over to my maybe friends...hopefully and see Marie with eyes of awe while Emma has the eyes of being proud I think? With the whole 15mins I've known her I can never fully tell how she can react next.

"Hell yeah you will!" Emma says with determination in her eyes. Marie stands up also fired up like Me and Emma. "I didn't get in the hero program either so I'm going to go with you because I need to be in this program to show everyone that I'm good enough to be a hero."

I knew we understood each other..."Well then what are you guys waiting for, go get that fucking class that is rightfully yours." Well I guess we are really doing this. I look down at my watch seeing it's 6:23pm. Where the hell has the time gone.. well I never have liked confrontation but you gotta do what you gotta do.

-time skip-

Me and Marie burst through the huge door demanding answers. More like Marie did,I thought that we knock but apparently that's "to nice" after what they did to us. So I guess if I get expelled for also bursting through a door and probably breaking it,mind as well go down with a fight.

Marie and I look around the room wondering where could the professor be. Marie locks eyes with the huge door. My 'genius' guess that's where we will find our dear professor but my eyes.. they go somewhere else but more like to someone else. Jordan Li. So this is what they meant when they said they had work or something. I can tell that Marie is still worked up and about to burst through another door. But this time we do it my way aka way more civil. I motion for Marie to follow me to try and talk to Jordan about this whole thing,hoping they can help. They're currently in their female version and I particularly want to sob in a corner because I always fuck up talking to Jordan in any form because they are just amazing in every way. ANYWAYS back to where we were...

Me and Marie walk over to their desk. They have earbuds in like the ones they left with after I met them in our dorm.... Stella what the fuck how do you really remember what earbuds they have. I swear it's literally the first day Stella, you can't have this big of a crush this early....but they are just so cute. Ah shit got a bit distracted again but anyways they have earbuds in so of course they can't hear us especially since their working on their computer. "I would hate to interrupt them, maybe we should just come back later" I whisper to Marie. Call me a scaredy-cat but it's like I said, I hate confrontation."No Stella,we are doing this" Marie holds my one hand while waving at Jordan to get their attention. Well go big or go home. Marie starts talking first while I stand behind her. You would think I'm not scared of my roommate but come on if they are built like Greek gods, ya girl is going to be a bit nervous.

"Jordan..Jordan Li right? Your like so amazing"Marie gushes over them

I watch as Jordan eyes trail from Marie and their computer which they seem unbothered by her and going back to whatever they were doing. But for some reason their eyes traveled to...me? Fuck my life. I can particularly feel my face turn into a tomato blush. I step even more behind Marie now embarrassed. A giggle sound travels around the room like an echo. That didn't sound like Marie right? Oh gods did they just laugh at me. May I say it again,fuck my life.

Oh yeah, I came here for a reason. "Look Jordan,I know you just met us but could you maybe help us out please. There has been some confusion with our class choices" I let out in one breath now in-front of Marie trying to make eye contact with the insanely talented and again like I've said hot superhero.

"Fine,I'll help you out sunshine."Jordan turns their head towards Marie ."What's your name?" Says while still typing on their computer."Marie..Marie monrou." Marie speaks up.

"Oh I see,there was no issue. You weren't put on the hero program for a reason so were you sunshine." Jordan says calmly while looking up from their computer.

What....

"No no there most some mistake. We will talk to professor Brink about this. Thanks for your help Jordan" says with an eye roll. "Come on Stella.we can't give up just yet."

Just as Marie pulls my numb arm from the news. Jordan interrupts. "I made the call"Jordan says with the usual normal tone.

"What.."I came out with a stutter."Why would you do that to me and Marie. That's not your place." I say with almost tears forming on my eyes,threatening to spill.

"Sorry sunshine. It is as Professor Brink secretary"Jordan says not one emotion showing. They don't know how much I need this to get my goal to be a hero or to even not just be some locked up kid in their their parents house that is a 'danger to society'

A hand is placed on my shoulder. I turn my head with Marie looking at me with concern written on her face. Her lips are moving but for some reason I can't hear what she is saying. The last time when something happened like that it was when....

Oh no.
