Chapter 15

Kianna POV

"Bei, if you're here to bug me, I swear-" Bea cut me off. To be honest, im not in the mood.

"No. I proooomise" Here she is. Deciding to step foot on taft in the middle of a rainy day. Pasalamat sya its wednesday and wala akong afternoon classes!"Did you eat lunch na?" She asked while walking beside me.

"Not yet. Why are you here?" I noticed that she was holding a folder. And she was wearing the hoodie I gave her.

"Sungit tsk. I came here to give this to a family friend" she said while looking around."Do you have any plans for this afternoon?"

"Not really. I was planning on having lunch by myself" I shrugged. "I just had a bad day." I added, frowning

"Wanna go to Rockwell? My treat na. To cheer you up ." Bea offered. Since its pretty near, and I really need to lighten my mood up, I agreed.

"Just tell me if you wanna go on a date bei, no need to be sleek about it" I stated and Bea just rolled her eyes. Well thats new?

"Very funny. Hey I need to drop this off. Do you know where Gen Ed building is? Something like that" Bea asked. Its not really far since we're near Razon na rin.

Bei handed the folder to a small girl who looks like a frosh pa. I see her tuwing games na din kaya medj familiar.

"Who was that?" I curiously asked but it sounded like I was demanding after we were going to the parking lot.

"Bianca. The folder contains the stats for our business. I volunteered to give it to her eh" Bea said.

"Sus you just wanted to see me" I said irritably and Bea chuckled while asking if she could carry my backpack. Mabigat din kasi eh. Napansin nya siguro

"Yeah, that was the main reason" She admitted and averted her gaze.

"Hay nako I was only kidding. Pwede mo naman sabihin sakin kapag namimiss moko. Di yung naghahanap ka pa ng paraan para makapunta sa Taft" I messed with her more which made both of us laugh.

"Ok. I'll keep that in mind!" She said while we already reached her car. She opened the door for me before getting in too.

"Dont you have classes?" Ngayon ko lang naalala na its still almost noon and most students still have classes

"I do but uh" Bea struggled to utter the sentence. Hay nako!

"But what?" She didnt actually skip class right?

"Free cut for 2 periods?" She said in a questioning tone. I turned at her before raising my eyebrow

"Free cut ba talaga or nagcut ka nalang?" Gosh Bei what will Tita Det say? Nagcucutting ka jusko

"Ihhh its minor subjects lang naman eh. Besides, I dont have training because of my stitches" Bea said while driving. I just rolled my eyes.

"If I ever see you or have known that you were cutting classes again, you're dead" I stated and Bei pouted.

"Yes po. Im sorry" She just agreed. Hay nako so much for the BEAST. ———————————Bea took me to Tajimaya. Its a japanese bbq restaurant. Its amazing, actually. Taking me to such a nice place on a school day. I was craving for bbq pa naman.

"Order anything you want. Its my treat!" Bea said while scanning the menu. I smiled and ordered what I want."Tell me about your day" Bea suddenly said after we finished ordering. I just let out a deep sigh"Hey, whats bothering you? You could tell me" She said in a concerned tone.

"College is just draining! I failed maybe 3  quizzes today? And we just passed some requirements today. Im glad its over but it was just mentally and physically draining. And now the prof gave out another major task" I ranted. Bea just carefully listened. She smiled and that caused me to relax. I dont know why. But it just did.

"You're strong. You can do it." She comforted."Tell you what, lets go shopping. My treat" she even added.

"Isnt that too much? You already treated me to lunch oh" I asked. She just laughed. Aba tinawanan pako?

"Its no big deal. I'll do anything to cheer u up, princess" She said and that made my heart flutter. Grabe she still has that effect on me?

Throughout the whole lunch, she helped me with cooking the meat, assisting me with anything. We talked about alot of things. Siguro puro tawa lang inabot namin neto. She's like my comfort person. She instantly made my mood lighten up.

"Hey, do you wanna shop at Zara?" she asked me when we went by zara. Its one of my favorite brands so I said yes.

Bea POVThe way her face lit up whenever she sees something she likes at Zara is just cute. Gosh its torture to remain calm and collected when I have this goofball with me! I would just like to pinch your cheeks and give you a cuddle ugh.

Atleast she's happy already. I mean, cutting classes was totally worth it! I honestly went to La Salle because of her. The folder thing was just an alibi. I saw her tweet yesterday that she was craving bbq. And I saw her tweet earlier this morning about having a bad morning. I really wanted to cheer her up because why not? A smile suits my princess very well noh!

"Is that everything?" I asked when we were at the counter already. She smiled and nodded. Aaaaaaagh dont do that. Its too cute >_<

"That would be Php 4,300 maam" The cashier said smiling and I could have sworn she winked at me. When Kianna was about to hand her credit card, I already gave the cashier mine.

"Pasikat psh" I heard Kianna whisper. Huh? Uy Im not kaya! Im treating you na nga eh!

"Thank you! Btw, whats your name, miss?" The cashier asked while handing me the paper bags.

"Bea De Leon" I smiled and said. I carried the paper bags and turned to Kianna. I swear she rolled her eyes. I mean, she's pouting right now!"Oy whats with the face?" I asked. She was totally cheerful a minute ago.

"You went all the way to Rockwell para makipaglandian? Shame" she said and shook her head. Wait what now?

"I mean, I could do it in La Salle too if yo-" before I could say anything, she already started walking. What did I do?"Hey, Kianna. What is it?" I caught up to her.

"It was clear that the cashier was flirting with you noh! And then you said that you could do it in La Salle too. Gosh Bei landi everywhere?" Kianna ranted. And at that moment I realized what she meant. Oh my God she's jealous!!

"I was just being friendly. Oh my gosh you're jealous" I teased and she just rolled her eyes. Wait im kilig."Dont be like that. Kinikilig ako" I admitted. She glared at me while hitting me slightly on my arm.

"Im not jealous, Beatriz" she denied. I just chuckled and held her arm pulling her towards The Face Shop. I just needed to buy something. And also, she might like something here din.

"Do you buy things here?" I asked her because she seems to know every product here eh.

"I often buy here. Its Nika's favorite shop" she replied while checking out some lip tints and powder. I minded my own business and grabbed my skin care products. When I came back to Kianna, she was talking to a child that bumped into her. She always has a soft spot for kids din eh.

"You're so tall!" I heard the kid say.

"She's beautiful din diba? Crush ko yan" I butted in. The little girl agreed before her mom called her. And I noticed Kianna was avoiding my face for some reason."Uy crush look at me oh" I teased her.

"Tch. Stop joking around, bei" she replied I reach out and guided her head towards me. I crunched my forhead kasi she was kinda red. Is that normal?

"Fine di na. Did you pick out anything you like? I'll pay" I said.

"I'll pay for these. You already treated me today ah" she replied while holding a small basket of the products she picked out.

"Fun fact, I like spoiling you, princess" I winked at her as I grabbed the basket so that I could pay.

"Konti nalang iisipin ko nililigawan mo ko" Kianna muttered that made me smirk. Well, im not exactly courting her yet. I plan to ask her parents later noh.

"What does your parents like?" I randomly asked. If Im going to ask them, I should atleast have a peace offering!

"What do you mean?" Asked Kianna. We were on our way to the cinema to watch a movie. Its still 3pm so we have time to kill

"Like if I were to give them pasalubong or a gift uh what do they usually like?" I asked trying not to give myself away. But I think I already did ugh

"If you're going to give them something later, I suggest donuts or cake" She stated. Ok, great Bea! You totally gave your plan away.

I was driving the car while laughing the hell out because Kianna couldn't stop crying over that movie we saw. Cell no. 7 I think was the title.

"Stop laughing at me" She whined while tears were still flowing from her eyes. She really is soft hearted.

"Here." I handed her my extra handkerchief to wipe her tears. We had to stop at Contis to buy an ice cream cake to bring home. Luckily I had my cooler from gatorade with me so that it wont melt"Sleep ka muna, princess. Its traffic" I said. She rested her head on the car window. I reached for my neck pillow at the back of my car and adjusted her. She fell asleep kasi agad.

"God I just hope everything goes according to plan" I muttered as I nervously drove our way to Alabang
