Chapter 14

Bea POVIt was a cold foggy morning while I jogged in our subdivision. Ngayon kasi we would have a birthday party for me since my bday would be tomorrow. Its been our tradition to hold parties on the day before your birthday para sa mismong day of your birthday, it would be reserved for family lang.

"George, come on. We're almost home na" I called my corgi kasi he was about to give up. Its been days after I got out of the hospital and my stitches are fine. Though, bawal parin ako maglaro ng volleyball. Hays I wanted to play against UST panaman.

I am having a house party for my 19th birthday. And I invited ALE and all my friends. Even some players from DLSU. Although, my mom was bugging me into inviting Kianna for our family lunch tomorrow. Hays Keanne told her kasi about Kianna and she liked her agad and wanted to meet her.

"Beiii invite Kianna" My mom cooed whenever she got the chance. She was always backed up by Keanne din eh. Hay nako those two

"Nakakahiya,mom. Baka may lakad sya"  I said. But in reality, I CANT EVEN COURT HER TAPOS MEET THE PARENTS AGAD? OH MY GOSH

"Nonsense! Ako na nga lang magiinvite" I guess I got my stubbornness from my mom.

"Tita mommy I'll help invite ate Kimchie!" Keanne butted in. Oh Lord. Fine. Ok

"No need. I'll invite her na nga lang" I was forced to agree. Well not really forced, I also wanted it namen eh hehe

KKD🌻Bea: Heeeey since its my birthday, can you come to lunch tomorrow? 🥺

KKD🌻: But its your family lunch diba? Besides we will celebrate later haha

Bea: Please come tomorrooooow

KKD🌻: nakakahiya. Its for your family ehh

Bea: Mom wont stop bugging me about inviting you. And Keanne wants to see his ate Kimchie tomorrow!🥺

KKD🌻: Talaga? Tell Keanne that I'll see him later naman

Bea: Just please say yes? Or else mom would be the one to invite you!

KKD🌻: sus! I'll think about it😝

Bea: Think wisely

"Soooo what did she say?" My mom was behind me pala the whole time!

"She says she'll think about it" I sighed."Dont go texting her, mom" I added. I knew her too well."Why are you so eager to invite her?" I asked

"She is your crush" She said and my eyes widened. Ha? What? Paano!"Hey Keanne told me" She defended herself. I glared at Keanne and he mouthed "sorry" uuuugh

"Mom please please please dont expose me" I pleaded.

————————It was 7pm and the party already started. There were people in the pool, my teammates are getting drunk in the patio and here I am glancing over to the living room where my mom and Kianna are. Wala eh. Naunahan nako ni mommy kay Kianna.

"Pst. Baka matunaw" Therese disturbed my thoughts.

"Ha?" I was a little tipsy but I am still sane.

"Hakdog!" Hay nako Therese. I rolled my eyes and glanced at the living room but they were gone.

"Relax, Bei. Kianna is already there oh. Sa teammates nya" Ate Den said while pointing at the other side of the patio where most of the DLSU spikers and half of my teammates are.

"Oy its not like im looking for her!" I denied it. But then new entrees claimed my attention. It was Thirdy, Nietos and Dwight.

"Welcome" I stood up to greet them. They grabbed drinks and sat near us joining our conversation. Idk? Its something about concerts? LANY I think?

——————————Kianna POVWe were having a good time at Bea's when my friends decided to join Bea's group. Mukhang they were playing a game tapos Bea is half drunk na

"Ayon! Sali kayo!" Yaya ni ate Ly na halatang lasing na kasi nakayakap na kay Den.

"Truth or Shot, Bei! Who do you think is jowable in this circle?" Sabi ni Thirdy while handing Bea another shot of Whiskey. Yikes.

"Shot" Bea looked at me in the eyes before taking that shot. Is she still sane?

"Ayaw pang aminin!" Yelled Jho. Bei just laughed and handed the shot glass back at the middle.

"Dun tayo sa bagong dating!" Thirdy refilled the shot glass and handed it to me. Gosh I hate whiskey!

"Truth or Shot. Kayo ba ni Bea?" Thirdy caught me off guard. Lahat sila nanahimik while waiting for my answer. Oh my gosh. We're just friends right? Diba??

"No. Just friends" I answered and gave the shot back to Thirdy.

They kept playing that game until 11pm? Idk everyone was drunk. Ako, im tipsy but still sane enough. I went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water for Bea kasi malilintekan ako kapag hinayaan ko to dito. I mean, her mom was very friendly to me and nakakaguilty if I left her just there diba?

"Here, Bei. Drink up" I handed her the glass of water while she sat near the pool and gazing up on the stars.

"Thanks, princess" Bei said while drinking up the water. But she stopped half way and crunched her nose"This isnt whiskey"  I laughed and pinched her nose. Of course she isnt sane enough.

"Of course, Bei. Thats water. Just so you could sober up" Bea smiled and looked up the stars.

"Look at the starsLook how they shine for youAnd all the things that you do" Bea sang in her own soft way. In that way, my heart fluttered."You know, princess. I may not be sober enough for you to believe me, but you're special" and now im discovering my new favorite type of Bea

"So this is what its like when the beast goes drunk" I joked and she laughed.

"Maybe your presence makes me sane?" Bea replied. While I sat beside her, she looked at me with the most genuine smile."You wont see this kind of Bea tomorrow, princess. You better enjoy it now" She winked at me and that sent a thousand butterflies dancing in my stomach.

"Or are you just convincing me to join you tomorrow?" I chuckled.

"No need to convince you. I asked tita and tito already. Perks of being Bea De Leon" She said confidently and I rolled my eyes."And you are staying here for the night" she added. Turns out, she asked my parents for that. And they packed my stuff already and gave it to Bea"Are you sure you're still wanted at your house?" Bea joked.

"Or maybe you wanted my presence more" I shot back. And Bea just chuckled.

—————————Bea POVIts 7am and its time for breakfast. But this chinita wont wake up!

"Rise the fuck uuuup" I was trying to wake up Kianna since she slept at the guest room next to my room.

"Beatriz naman eh" She sat up and scanned the room. She rubbed her eyes.

"Its about time. I was thinking of sending Keanne to wake you up but-" I was cut off when Keanne ran into the room yelling Ate Kimchie and Kianna engulfed him into a big hug.

"So how is captain trouble?" Kianna asked and they had their own world completely forgetting me. I was always fascinated of how Kianna handles Keanne. Not to mention of how she's wearing my shirsey and her jogger pants. The De Leon on her back suits her just fine!

"What are you smiling at?" Kianna snapped me out of my thoughts while she was carrying Keanne ready to exit the room.

"Suits you just well" I leaned closer and whispered. She gave me an eye roll and I returned it with a smirk. Bagay kasi for her!!! Ugh she could adopt Keanne anytime

Kianna carried Keanne all the way to the dining room where my moms pancakes, bacon and eggs were waiting to be eaten."Smells good, tita" Kianna complemented my mom. Did she just called her Tita- OMG ONE STEP CLOSER TO MOM!!

"Thanks, Hija. You're right on time! Make sure to eat plenty ha. Or else lagot ako kina Bambi" DID MY MOM JUST BEFRIENDED TITA BAMBI???

"Great so im not the favorite child anymore" I muttered once we sat at the dining table. Kianna laughed as she guided Keanne to his seat and began attending to his needs. Like grabe its super cute. Lord, I can stare at this all day!!

My whole breakfast was just focused on my food, Kianna, Keanne and Kianna. It's interesting to see how Kianna takes care of Keanne. They got along quickly. I like how Kianna cuts the pancake to bite sizes just the way Keanne likes it. The way she refills orange juice whenever he asks or the way she gives him bacon and eggs without breaking the yellow part because Keanne likes doing it himself. It just makes me smile.

"She's perfect" My mom whispered. Apparently we were both observing the two of them.

"Mother like daughter. Uhh why are you both smiling like that?" Kianna caught us. I quickly shook it off and pretended it never happened.

"Nothing, hija. Its just Bea crushing on someone" I nudged my mom other the table. MOOOOOOM WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAAAAAAT
