Chapter Fifteen

04:28, 2 February 2020

Jeff ran with me over his shoulder until we stopped hearing the sirens, after that he slowed to a walk. At a wide trunked tree, he finally sets me down. I stumble a little and finally balance myself. I look over at Jeff and he's pacing back in forth. I can practically see the steam pouring out of him. I hesitate.

"I'm sorry...." I start to say until I'm pushed up against the big tree and met with a cold knife against my neck. I feel the tears start streaming down my face.

"YOU STUPID BITCH" Jeff yells at me. "I gave you one job Misty. One."

"Jeff. I'm sorry I didn't--" I start to say.

"Just SHUT UP. So you're telling me you weren't going to tell her to call the police?" Jeff asks me.

"No! I was just nervous. I was going to say no! I promise." I feel more tears pour down my cheeks.

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't GUT you right now?" Jeff says I feel his knife press harder.

"I thought u needed me...? To get back?" I ask slowly. I'm met with Jeff's laugh.

"You think I NEED you? Sweetheart, you're nothing. I can kill you and get another girl if I need to." Jeff laughs harder, his smile growing wider.

"Please don't..." I whimper. Jeff's eyes narrow and he finally takes away the knife.

"Don't try shit like that again." He releases me and throws the bag at my chest. "Get dressed. Quickly please we don't have forever." Jeff says in an annoyed voice. I hesitate slightly.

"Can... Can you turn around?" I ask quietly.

"I swear to god bitch if you don't just get dressed..." Jeff says. I furrow my brows.

"Please... I haven't... ever..." I linger on the subject. Jeff smirks and pushes me on the tree again, this time hovering the knife over my cheeks.

"I could change that if you like," Jeff says, his smile grows at his wicked thoughts, making his cheeks tear with new wounds. I start to panic and the tears start building again. He sees this and leans in closer to me.

"Your no fun..." He says right before licking my cheek and then letting me go. he turns around. "Hurry up, we have to get going." His voice is bored again.

I quickly pick up the bag and start stripping. I'm in the middle of pulling on the jeans when he speaks again.

"If only you knew some of the things girls like you gave up to me in hopes I would spare them." Jeff laughs. "Of course right after, I still killed them... The look on those girls' faces especially is the best" He lingers and I know he is reminiscing on old victims. He turns his head slightly and I know he can see me out of the corner of his eye. "Hurry up."

I nod and finishing dressing.

"Okay, ready," I say as I put on the last slide. He turns around and eyes me.

"Okay. Lynnwood is about 14 miles. Let's get going."
