Third Person's POV

"Hi, oppa" Valarie greeted him. Hyungwon smiled at her.

"Hey, jagiya" He greeted her, as he was at his desk and on the phone.

"Hold on. I'll be with you in a minute" Hyungwon said, putting a finger up, signalling for her to wait. He went back to the call and she couldn't understand a word he was saying as it was in Korean. She decided to leave him and she went towards his room. Every time she enters the room, her eyes will land on the freaking picture of him and the lady.

"Jagiya" Hyungwon called.

"In here" Valarie said.

"You hungry? What do you want to eat?"

"Oppa. What if it was me in that picture?" Valarie asked.

"Hmm? Why the sudden thought?" He asked, as he leaned on the doorway, his arms crossed.

"Well, I just... thought that it would be nice if the portrait Rae did of you and me, is hanged up" Hyungwon fell silent, just staring at her.

"It's just a thought. Nothing important" Valarie said. She turned and look at Hyungwon, to see him staring at her, she instantly look away, feeling her cheeks turning hot.

"Oppa. If you had only a month left to live... what would you do? And who would you want to be with?" Valarie asked, turning to look at him.

"I would live that last month of my life the way I usually live, without anyone disturbing me. I wouldn't change even if I had one month left to live, because I have already lived"

"So, that means you are prepared to die?" Valarie asked. Hyungwon nodded, confidently.

"I have nothing to lose and nothing to gain" Hyungwon said. Valarie fell silent. What was she thinking? She actually hoped that this man right here would say something meaningful. But he's not human after all, he doesn't feel things the way a human does. Even though she's like him, being a vampire is never a privilege to her. Nothing to gain? Nothing he could possibly want? Hyungwon tilt his head slightly, looking at her that was looking at the portrait. His lips quirked up in a smirk, knowing that she was disappointed. Well, he didn't want to give her any hope.

"Come. Let's eat" Hyungwon said, putting out a hand for her to take. She slowly went to him and grabbed his hand.

Valarie's eyes darted towards his face, that looks peaceful as he sleep. He only looks sincere when he sleeps. She knows that it's impossible for him to truly love her. But deep, deep down, there was a voice saying that she could get him to love her, sincerely. Hyungwon may be a gentleman and a romantic one at that, but there was no love in his heart. Every time they had sexual intercourse, it felt amazing and through it, she felt like he somewhat sincerely liked her. Are all men like this? Using ladies as only a tool for sex? Hmm. Maybe not. She looked at him and she softly smiled, she really like him, love him... she knows it's too fast to say it's love, but she can't help the way he makes her feel.

"Jagiya. Close your eyes and sleep" His voice sounded raspy and low as he spoke.

"Yes" Valarie instantly lay flat on her back and close her eyes, feeling embarrassed that she was caught. Hyungwon's eyes open slightly and looked at her that was stiff beside him, unknowingly he smiled slightly. When he realized he smiled, he quickly look away and attempted to go back to sleep. Hyungwon's eyes landed at the portrait of the lady and his heart started aching slightly.

"I'm sorry" He softly said. Valarie looked at the back of his head, questioningly. Her eyes darted to the portrait and she looked back at him. She instantly knew there was something off about his past, if only Hyungwon could tell her more. She slowly scooted closer to him and wrap her arms around him, her head on his chest.

"Goodnight, oppa" Valarie said. Hyungwon didn't reply her, instead he just closed his eyes.

Valarie sipped the blood that was in the glass. It's no surprise that Hyungwon would be provided with all the finest tasting blood. She moaned slightly, before she placed the glass down. She glanced at Hyungwon that was working, she can't help but smile slightly. It's just one of her turn ons to see a guy working hard and looking really focused. She support her chin on her palm, just staring at him. There was only 20 days left and she can't help but dread the day to come. Hyungwon look up from his work, after feeling someone staring at him. As he look at her that was staring at him, burning a hole through his head, he felt a pang in his chest, looking at her expression. He quickly look away and look back down to his work. His heart started to race slightly, looking at the familiar gaze.

"I'm gonna go get a drink" Hyungwon stood up from his seat and went to leave. She who was still staring at the same spot, snapped out of her trance when Hyungwon moved. She sipped a little of the blood, before she went to find him.

"Oppa" She called, seeing him in the kitchen. She stop in her tracks, looking at his back. She slowly went up towards him and wrap her arms around his waist, leaning her head on his back. Hyungwon who was sipping on his drink, accidentally choked on the water and she pulled away, as she heard him cough. She instantly went to pat his back, as he continued coughing. His coughing died down and he cleared his throat. She chuckled slightly, looking at his flustered face.

"Are you okay, oppa?" She asked. He realized just how close they were and he looked at her, hoping she would realize. She look at him questioningly, when his eyes kept shifting. She noticed that her arm was around his waist and holding onto him, after she had rubbed his back, and her front was pressed against his arm, leaning on him. She wanted to pull away, but then she stop herself, before she reach up and she cupped his face. She leans in and captured his lips, closing her eyes. Hyungwon kissed her back, facing her and wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Hmm" She accidentally let out a soft moan in the kiss, making her tense up for a moment, opening her eyes to look at him. But it seems like he didn't mind, and it seems like it turned him on even more, as he deepens the kiss. She kissed him back as deeply. She could feel his length hardened between their touched hips and she knew what he wanted. His kisses turned aggressive and she was stunned for a moment as he pushed her against the counter. Her hands gripped his shoulders, wanting him to slow down. She was stunned when he bend down slightly and lift her up bridal style. He slowly made his way to the bedroom. When he reached the room, he slowly lay her down on the bed.

"Oppa... I..." She was having second thoughts, as she watched him getting undressed. I mean, she did caught him with Hera, but, then again, Hera is his slave. She felt unsure to do it with him, she has so many doubts. It felt uncomfortable to share the same man. She was snapped out of her thoughts when she felt his lips on her neck. She instantly gripped his shoulders.

"Oppa. I don't..." She felt panic as she knows she doesn't want to do this, but he was clearly getting excited. He reached up and place his lips back on her, making her mind to turn blank.

She hated herself at the moment. She hated how he can sway her. She doesn't understand how he does it. Does he have some kind of spell over her? His powers perhaps? She looked at his back once again. No matter how distant and cold it looks, it still has a gentle touch to it. She slowly turned to her side and face his back properly. She reached up and touched her lips and she felt it buzz at the sensation. She leans closer and she lean her forehead on his back, before she leans her lips closer and started leaving love bites on his bare back. Hyungwon's eyes snapped open at that and he tense up, feeling her lips on his back. Memories of gentle lips on his back flashed in his mind and he was hit with a sense of longing and deja vu. Valarie flinched as he pulled away.

"Oppa. I thought you were asleep" She stated. Hyungwon got up and instantly left the room, with only his boxers on. She look at the open door puzzled. What? Did she do something wrong?

"What did I do?" She asked to no one.
