Lorelei's POV

"Hon." Tawag ko sa aking asawa habang siya ay busy sa kung ano sa kanyang laptop. We're at our sala. Him, busy on his work while I'm getting bored here. I almost watched everything but he's still not done yet!

"What?" He said, still looking at his laptop. He didn't even look at me! What's his problem? It's like he's just force to me! What, am I not important to him now?

I stared at him with a pierce look until he notice what I'm doing. He turned to me and said, "Why are you looking at me like that?" He didn't gave his attention to me when I approached him and he'll ask why the hell am I looking at him? Hah!

"Nothing." I said with tears trying to fall down on my cheeks. I don't even know why I'm crying? He just ask me what is my problem and I know it's too lame to cry just because of that but I can't help it. I'm too emotional these days and I think it's because of my hormones.

"Lori, I can't guess what is in your mind and Goodness you're crying! Do you have a problem? What do you want?"

I didn't said a word. I just stared at him looking so pity. What happened to his ability of reading my mind?

"Come on, tell me hon. I'm going crazy here. You're not saying anything. Tell me now, please."

Now that he said please, I've come to my senses. He rarely say that word and because he said it, I want to take advantage of it. Although, I'm a little bit hesitant to say it because knowing him, he might not agree. But I can't sleep without it. Especially nowadays that I'm carrying a human for 4 months already.

Alright! For the sake of my baby's health I'm going to do it. I take a deep breathe first before saying, "I want a hug while I'm sleeping." I turned my eyes elsewhere but not on him. I can feel his stare for a few minutes before releasing a long sigh.

I look at him, does he think I'm being clingy? I felt sad at that thought.

"But if you don't want it because I know it's not your style, I can just... uhh h-hold your hand while you do your work. I just want to sleep but I can't sleep without holding y-you." Agap ko, Gosh! I said it slightly stammering because of too much guilt and the fast beat of my heart!

He didn't take his gaze away on me while I said those words. Come on, Say something!

"What are you saying? Ofcourse, I will do it. Let's go to our room so you could rest now. It's unhealthy for you and the child if you'll stay up late." He stand up and gave me his hand

I stayed on my seat looking surprise because I thought he won't agree.

"What are you waiting for? Let's go now. You need to rest already."

"Nothing." I said. "I just thought at some point, you won't agree. I mean you're Loki and I know you for a long time. You don't do things like that. But now you agreed. It just surprised me."

He reach for both of my hand, gently caressing the back of it. "Lori, I want you to know that there are a lot of exceptions in everything and you are one of that exception. I will always allow you to do anything you want to me. Okay?"

I nodded. "Now, can we go to our room so you and our future life could get the rest they needed?" He said while caressing my now, big tummy.

I smiled finally at him and nodded.
