The Diner

Andrew- Guys, want to go to lunch today?

Jeremy- bro you know i can't do lunch

Dom- yeah sorry man i can only do dinner too

Pierson- I could do either what about you Brent??

Brent- Uhm i'm busy during the afternoon too so late dinner sounds good

Lexi- I'm free for anything

Emma- What if we just went at like 8pm at the diner?

Jeremy- ooh yeah and watch movies and stay up late!!

Emma- Okay little kid you can calm down now

Jeremy- no i'm very manly

Andrew- So you're all in?

Lexi- We're missing Brianna but I'm sure she'll reply soon

Pierson- Yeah but i think everyone else is cool with the plans

Brianna watched her phone screen as the texts went on and on about what movies they would watch and what foods they would get. She was furious, she didn't tell Andrew to send out an invitation to everybody! Ugh whatever, she could go and still find a way to flirt with Andrew. Ooh wait maybe the movies are a good idea, snuggle up on the couch? She replied to the texts with a yes before leaving the rest of the messages unread until an hour before the dinner.

Andrew knew what he was doing, he would keep ruining Brianna's plans to get close to him because she just wasn't what he was looking for. Plus she gave him bad vibes he just didn't want to tell Lexi. As the clock reached 7:14 Andrew decided to call Lexi. As the call started Andrew couldn't help but admire Lexi's beauty. She was wearing simple stuff, nothing too fancy but it still made Andrew's jaw drop. It was just a white top and some black pants like this ⬇

As Lexi picked up her call from Andrew she saw him wearing his usual clothing but a little more stylish than she normally saw him. If Lexi was really being honest with herself Andrew looked fine, a little too fine. I know this is kind of an old photo but like this⬇

"Hey we're kind of matching!" Andrew said, backing up to show his whole outfit. "Oh yeah we are." Lexi replied looking down at her clothes. "So what's up?" Lexi asked, wondering why he called. "Oh nothing I was just seeing if you needed a ride to the diner." Andrew asked, hoping for a yes. "Oh yeah I forgot about that! Sorry I do need a ride actually." Lexi replied, her hand coming up to her face at after she realized her bad memory. "No worries Lexi, I'll be there at 7:55. Is that okay?" Andrew asked. "More than okay, thank you so much!" Lexi replied before they both waved to hang up the call.

Lexi watched the clock hit 7:56 when she got a text saying Andrew was there. As soon as she walked out Andrew went to her side of the car toopen her door for her. "Madam." Andrew said, jokingly taking a bow as she walked by. "Wow very gentleman like." Lexi said as she stepped into the car. As they got the diner they were the first ones there.

"Well, want to get a shake while we wait?" Lexi asked walking up to one of the big booths. "Sure Let's get chocolate and...Cookies n Cream!" Andrew began to laugh replaying the moment yesterday when he tricked her. "Not funny." Lexi said with a straight face. "You know it is. At least a little." Andrew said still laughing. Lexi, unable to contain her laugh, began to burst out laughing from Andrew's contagious energy. As they kept laughing looking into each others eyes the others walked in. Brianna took a seat right next to Andrew and since Lexi was across Andrew there was no way for Lexi to get close to him for the rest of the night. Jeremy pridefully took his seat next to Lexi. He's always had a crush on her but at this point he would take any of the four besides Pierson who was "off limits".

Andrew looked over at Jeremy and Lexi who we're laughing about a video. Andrew's blood boiled, a feeling of jealousy spreading throughout him like never before. He hated the way he could even make her smile let alone laugh. He hated the way they made eye contact for even a second. He hated every second of it.

Brianna had been working her magic the whole night, moving up on Andrew. She was really putting herself out there but Andrew showed little interest. While Brianna was talking about who knows what, Andrew looked across to see Lexi and Jeremy laughing super hard, almost as hard as Andrew made her laugh. In the middle of their 'moment' Andrew said, "Lexi," Lexi's head immediately turned towards Andrew, a smile playing on her face. "Yes?" Andrew didn't really know what he was going to say so he made something up. "You have something on your chin like food. Let me take it off." Lexi leaned closer over the table and Andrew wiped it off with his finger. Lexi felt her knees go weak even from Andrew's small touch, she sat back down blushing and said, "Thank you."

Andrew loved the way that Jeremy watched the whole thing and Lexi loved the way Brianna watched them. As everyone returned back to their normal conversation Brianna turned to Andrew realizing that her movie plan wasn't enough, "So Andrew, you want to go somewhere after this?" Andrew looked confused, "What do you mean we're gonna watch movies after?"

Brianna replied flirtatiously, "Well we don't have to watch the movie." Andrew realized what she was trying to say and he scooted a little further away from her, "Uhm where would you want to go?" Brianna moved closer and brushed her hand against Andrew's arm, "Maybe my house?" Andrew was visibly uncomfortable, "No sorry there was a movie I really wanted to watch with everyone." Brianna scooted back to the edge of the booth disappointed, what was she doing wrong?

The dinner ended and everyone met up at Brent and Lexi's house to watch the movies. Andrew and Lexi were the last to arrive after taking a short trip to Taco Bell. "Hey where's my Baja Blast?" Brent yelled as soon as they walked in.  "Sorry Brent we were just making a quick stop." Andrew said, but he was lying, really he just needed to talk to Lexi.
