Felix's POV

"Your new hair color suits you, your highness" Kyungmi said, the head maid

I bowed "Thank you" I left and went to the second floor

A maid bowed as soon as I stepped on the second floor.

My friends and I visited a salon and tried some new looks. I know it's inappropriate to change my hair color just because I want to. A black should be the hair color or prince, they said. My Father isn't here. I can try what I want.

I just nodded and went to my room. I saw the door unlocked, I entered and saw a girl standing at the balcony. Who the hell would dare enter my room-

Damn...

It's the new girl.

I quickly changed my clothes to a more casual, what I always wear when sneaking out of the palace.

"I wonder what does it feel like living as a princess?" she whispered

Is she asking? It's not even great to live the way I am living. You will regret it once you tried it.

"Why not ask the prince?"

She looked back and her eyes widened as she saw me "P-Prince?"

"Prince? I am not the prince. You doesn't seem to know what he looks like"

"I-I never saw his face before. I just saw his back view, he has a black hair-" Chaerin

"A black hair? I have a blonde hair. What made you think I am the prince?"

"I-I didn't noticed your h-hair" she answered and eyed me from head to toe "What are you doing here? Only me and the prince are allowed to enter this room"

"Ah, I see. I apologize. The prince is not yet here. I can still enter"

"You are crazy. He is not allowing anyone here. You are probably dead if he knew" she said

"Why would I be dead? He wouldn't know unless you will tell him"

"I wouldn't put you in danger just leave this room now. You don't know what kind of person the prince is. You don't have any idea" Chaerin

"What kind of person is he?"

"He is scary. He is a strict and sensitive one. I even heard that he is a monster at night. I don't know if it's true but I believe the rumor. I didn't even met hime but I am already scared. He can even kill me, I think" Chaerin

Cute.

"So, the prince is a monster at night?"

Chaerin nodded "I don't want to die but I have to work. I should be careful of him if I want to live longer. As his personal assistant, I have to live longer and guide him to become a prince"

"Seriously? Hahahaha"

The door opened.

"Chaerin-" she stopped talking when she saw me

I shook my head as a sign not to bow at me.

"Hmm?" Chaerin

"Kyungmi wants to talk to you" she said

"Alright" Chaerin answered

The maid left the room.

She looked at my eyes "You should be careful as well. I'll see you around" she tapped my shoulder and left the room

No one dared.

No one tried.

How can you look at straight into my eyes?

I lost it.

I lost my pride as a prince.

Someone knocked on the door "Prince, the dinner is ready"

"I'll go down but can you call Kyungmi?"

"Yes, your highness" she answered and walked away

What the hell is wrong with me? How can she make all my decisions turn upside down? Effortlessly.

"Your highness" Kyungmi called

"Come in"

She entered and closed the door. She bowed to me "I heard you wanted to see me"

I nodded "I need to ask you some favor"

"Yes, your highness. Anything" Kyungmi

"None of you spoke anything about me to the new girl, right?"

She nodded "Yes, your highness"

"Since I started it already. I want this to continue as long as possible. No one will speak anything about the prince nor his name. No one will show Chaerin a photo of me. Also..."

"Yes?" Kyungmi

"Let me finish talking. I will live here as your son, I will work like you all and will live at the first floor"

"P-Prince, the King will probably punish me for agreeing with your decision" Kyungmi

"This is my order as a prince and the future King. This won't reach my Father and I will make sure to take all the blame"

"Prince Felix-" Kyungmi

"You all will call me Felix, no one will bow to me nor treat me like a prince. If ever one of you tried to disobey what I said, will receive a punishment from me"

She bowed to me "I will make sure to tell everyone about this, your highness"

"Thank you"

She didn't answer.

"If ever she tried to look for the prince, make sure to tell her that I went away for a vacation. Everything will start tonight. I will be eating with you all"

She bowed again "Yes, your highness"

"That's all"

"I will make sure to prepare your room right away" she said and bowed once again, she quickly left the room

I guess my plan is going smoothly. Finally. I spoke about what I want to happen. I better do this until my Father arrives. I will make sure not to involve anyone under me to this plan.

Finally, I will be living as an ordinary teenager.

Not a prince anymore.
