Heiran's POV

(Next day)

I took a very quick bath as soon as I woke up. I can't move slow since we have a lot of things to do. As a maid of palace and the youngest one, I am assigned to do things that they can't do. Besides, I am used to it. I will wake up early in the morning and will do my job as a maid of the royal family.

I got out of the bathroom and wore my clothes as maid. I brushed my hair and made sure it's not messy. As a maid of the royal family, we also have to be presentable. We don't know when or who will come one day. Sometimes high class people always show up without saying anything nor warnings.

"Heiran?" Kyungmi called outside the room

I quickly went out and saw Prince Felix "G-Good morning, prince-"

"Felix only" he said

I bowed "Yes"

"I have things to do. Since you two are in the same age, I will assign you to explain him everything that we are doing" Kyungmi

"Yes-"

"If ever Chaerin asked who Felix is. You will tell her that he is my son who is working here as well" Kyungmi

I nodded "I will keep that in mind"

"Okay, go now" she said

I started walking and felt the Prince's footsteps behind me. Oh my gosh. I never went near him nor looked at him up close. Only the head maid and the King's assistant can go near him without any reason. We are just assigned to do the household chores.

We arrived at the garden where I will start teaching him.

"What am I supposed to do?" he asked as he stopped walking

"We have tons of things to do, starting from inside the palace to here"

"What do you usually do?" he asked

"I water the flowers and plants, clean the pool area, sweep the dry leaves, clean the fountain and sometimes clean inside the palace"

"Then, I'll do half of your work from now on. I'll do the watering and cleaning the fountain" Prince Felix

I handed him the watering can "From the entrance to here. That's the garden you have to water everyday"

"Easy" he said

I bowed- Damn.

"You want to get punished, don't you?" Prince Felix

"I apologize for that. I am just not used to talking casual to you and not bowing since I know you are the prince. I tried to tell myself and reminded that I should act as your friend but I really can't. I respect you so much and I look up to you. I am seriously apologizing for what I did-"

"Are you bullying Heiran?" CHAERIN

She stood beside me as she put her hands inside her pocket and eyed Prince Felix from head to toe.

"It's you, again" Prince Felix told her

"Yeah, are you staying here for good?" Chaerin asked

He nodded "I am working here as well"

"Really? That's nice. I have a lot of friends now. I won't get bored here" Chaerin smiled at him

"Uh... By the way, this is F-Felix, Kyungmi's son who is also working here. This is Chaerin, the Prince's new personal assistant" I introduced them both to each other

"Chaerin?" Prince Felix asked and raised his eyebrow "The prince must've been so wrong for choosing you-"

"Excuse me?" Chaerin crossed her arms and looked at Prince Felix "You are such a bully"

Prince Felix giggled "I know"

OH GOSH. WHAT IS THIS DRAMA?

"Anyway, have you seen the Prince? I kept looking around and even went to his room but he is nowhere to be found. He has a lot of schedules for today" Chaerin asked and looked at her wristwatch

"Ah, the Prince left earlier. If I am right, I heard he is leaving for a vacation" Prince Felix

"What?! Without me?! I am his personal assistant. Am I that useless that I don't even know he left?" she whined

I saw how Prince Felix let out a small laugh, enough for him not to get noticed by Chaerin.

"He probably thought of that" Prince Felix teased her

"For how long is he going out on a vacation?" Chaerin asked me

"Uh..."

Prince Felix looked at me.

"We don't know but he usually go out on a vacation for months or y-year?"

Chaerin sighed "I went here to work but looks like I won't receive any payment"

"Prince is paying us as long as we are under him. That means you will receive your pay even though you won't do your work"

"I can't just eat and sleep here knowing that I will get paid as his personal assistant. Besides, it will make me feel guilty seeing you all working hard more than me" Chaerin pouted

"That's fine-"

"It's not fine. I'll just help with the chores for the meantime. I am a maid for now and will go back to being his personal assistant once he go back here" Chaerin said

"S-Sure?"

She tapped our shoulders "I'll go and change my clothes. You two wait here for me, okay?" she said and left

"She is cute" DID PRINCE FELIX SAID THAT?!

OH GOSH..

IS THE PRINCE IN LOVE?

I took a quick glance beside me and saw him smiling like crazy. Oh my gosh. OH MY GOSH!!!
