When souls merged

Keifer's POV

I kept standing in front of Angelo, "it's important for me to disappear to correct everything", should I really address him as Kuya, show some respect, after all he's also my brother- in- law

He smirked, "oh wow...and what about the people who left behind you. My Jay, how much she suffered here, mentally, physically and emotionally". He points a finger at me, "she sacrificed everything to keep your inheritance safe, to protect your brothers, she fought with everyone for you".

I nodded, "of course I know, and I'm willing to fight with everyone for her, even with God. I'm standing here for her only, it's not easy for me to see her in pain and stay away but it's a short-term distance so that I can secure our future".

He didn't seem convinced, ahh...why my girl has so much protective and grumpy cousin brothers, if I had sister and a man like me approached her, I'd have happily agreed or maybe not. 

He raised his hand, maybe about to punch me but I kept standing without a movement cause if it's for me I'd have retaliated but it's for Jay and I should not lost my temper, I closed my eyes but "Kuya, please!", it's Jay who came in between us, "you know his side well, then...", I held Jay by shoulder, "it's between me and him, and it's for you. Let me do it."

I bring her to the side, "you know it, I can give you a fight, with all my strength I can knock you out but Angelo, I've huge respect for you, not just because of Jay but for I've always seen you as my elder brother, the one who guided me".

Angelo shook his head, "Keifer! exactly, when you see me as your elder brother then why the hell you're doing it all alone? when you've got me then you chose to do this all?", his voice was concerned, Sir Alvin was not wrong when he said I identifies my traits with Angelo, maybe acting harsh and careless but want to protect the one who are close.

I held Jay's hand, "I'll never leave her alone, never. I don't know how to describe my love for her but it's just whenever I ask myself that whom I love.. it's always her for me, even my unconscious brain took her name".

He looked at me then Jay, "have you already decided to forgive him?", Jay nodded, "already a lot happened between us, maybe I just don't want to waste more time". 

His expressions softened, before he said more, his wife Ion and I just heard about her and finally saw her approaching us, "Angelo! it's real, you're going to be father", the whole environment changed, a smile on everyone's face. Jay jumped, "wow! I'll be an aunt", she hugged Aries than me. 

I congratulated Angelo, "nice achievement!", he stared me and I suppressed my smiled, "this news made me happy, you're safe. But remember if you ever try to hurt her, well...you know me". I hugged him, "thank you Angelo..sorry Kuya Angelo". Everyone laughed. 

It's already 12 by this time, "Happy New Year", the celebration was too loud, maybe it's us entering in a new time, a new world of happiness. I was just standing and looking at Jay, her smile...maybe this is what I'm alive for, when she pulled me into the hug, I swear I forgot all miseries of my life, I'm happy if she's the one with me in the end. 

 I was casually lying on the couch, and Jay's footsteps were enough to tell me it's her, "Keiferr!!", she directly jumps over me, leaving all her weight on me and bumped her head on my chest, I groaned but she's unbothered.

She starts ranting, "Aries is teasing me, that I won't be the pampered kid anymore, Kuya's kid will take over". Well this girl literally kept all my evil under control for two damn years and now behaving like this but I love it. 

I caressed her hair, "it's okay! I'll always love you the most".  She gasped, "liar, once you'll become have a daughter, you'll do the same, and she might become your center". 

"I'll become hyperbola, with two focuses, happy?", she smiled, I pulled her cheeks, she's so cute when sulks,  "can you sing for me, it's been so long". I agree and get up, she was still clinging to me, and I moved upstairs by carrying her and made her sit on the bed. I took my guitar and picked up the lyrics, 

"God was writing our story with a golden penAnd I was wondering, why I'm always aloneBut then we met, maybe a bit lateI don't care, as it's you I foundEvery moment was worth the wait "

She joined me, 

"Ohh.. this time our heart is beating as oneIt's a blessing that is transforming things aroundSo beautiful, and precious even if just a view or any sound "

I continued,

"I can't believe if it's true, that you're mineIf it's a dream then I don't wanna wake upAnd if it's true that you're really by my sideI'll bow down in front of the Lord, thanking him with pride"

We both sang together, 

"Oh my minamahal, I'm telling youOh my minamahal, it's always you". 

I smiled, and kept my head in her lap, "I love you until scientists find the end of the universe", she smiled, "me too", she slightly kissed on my lips, but I pressed her head from back and kissed her more desperately, locking her into my arms completely and came over her, "now no one is going to come in between ".

She blushed and turned her head, I held her chin, "eyes on me baby!", it made her blush more, once again I grasped her lips and she moved them in a sync with me, our bodies colliding completely, I locked her arms upside to ease the things and pulled a quilt over us to cherish a wonderful feeling. 

With her, time passes too quickly or maybe it's true when we're happy, the time becomes unstoppable. Whatever, I'm just living every single moment with her happily, now we're already college graduates and managing our respective family business. Maybe busy, but there's no single day we're apart, of course not after the chaos we faced. 

I can't believe, Angelo is already father of a girl and he kept her ceremony of baptism on Jay's birthday, and Jay is excited like a kid. And me, who gets excited by seeing her happy. But after seeing her niece I also want a daughter and maybe for that we need to get marry. 

She's sitting, I threw a key near her, "let's race", she looked at me, "at this time? it's almost 12...", I held her shoulders, "come on, it's been so long Jay, and we'll come back on time". 

She finally agrees, they're the same cars we raced in when we met first time, "you've to follow the indicators on the road", we both took our seat, "ready! steady! go", and with a bang we kicked off, pulled the gear and accelerated, "wohoo", the game on.

Our cars were competing hard, it's tough, damn this girl took over me, how can she manage to defeat me every time, huh...my heart is not enough that you want me to lose here as well.I raised the speed of my car and tried to go ahead but bad luck...Fuck a narrow escape, our cars almost collided.

It's already the end point, and she aced this time as well. As we got out of the car, she teased me, "you can never defeat me", I never mind losing to her, but she doesn't know that there's a reason I arranged this race. I asked her to come out, "the moon is beautiful today".

We stared in the sky for a moment, "isn't it peaceful, can we buy a home there", wow ice idea, people promise of bringing moon and stars for their beloved but I'll legit buy property on moon and once scientists really find a way for survival of humans, we'll make a house there, "Yes! I'll buy it for you, and by the time life starts there, maybe we might get blessed with babies, then we'll live happily there".

She looked at me with strange smile, I don't know if she's mocking me or adoring me, whatever she's happy and I'm happy, "I want to go there right now". I laughed, "for that we need to die".

She was about to sit back in the car, but I held her hand, "wait!", she looked confused, "what? it's night", I cut her off and whistled so all the lights around were turned on, it's a beautiful garden decorated with lights. All the trees were shining, and the leaves swaying were creating a beautiful moment, ahh even nature was supporting me.

She was confused, "hey didn't you recognize this place, this is where we met first, look around, that's the same track we raced for first time". She realized it, "oh yes", I asked her to see at back seat of her car, she did that and found a cake, "Happy Birthday", I said, "it's 12...let's celebrate it, they all will come soon". I asked her to cut the cake, she held my hands, "let's do it together".

I denied, "I'll record you, please go ahead", you don't know Jay, that's not just a new year cake, she picks the knife and cuts the cake, I wished, "Happy Birthday!", I took some cake and fed her, and licked the leftover cake near her lips.

She smiled, "I want to eat more, please get it for me", she tried to take out more cake, "this is tough, the knife seems to be stuck", she tried more, "maybe you can use your hands", and when she removed a layer from hands, she found a box.

She took it out, saw me with teary eyes, "ring? is it for me?", I was already on my knees by this time, I smiled and took that box, "Jay! when I said I'll kneel down in front of you after buying a ring so the day is here", I took a deep breath, "Ms Jasper Jean Mariano and soon to be Mrs Watson, I've got this for you", her eyes enlightened, the wind was doing it's work by swaying her hair.

"Okay blame me for my desperation, but I just can't help myself from buying it and I don't want any other thing to come between us...just me and you. How strange, when I first saw you, I thought of you as complete menace, a clumsy and carefree girl roaming everywhere and bumping into me. I really don't know that it's my luck, maybe God's gift that I found you".

"When everyone used to think I'm strong, can handle everything by myself it's you who saw the vulnerable side of me and understood the pain behind my smile, and you...yes you made this Mark Keifer Watson cry" I let my tears fall, "Jay! when I lost my mom I thought my world was over, but I had to live for my brothers, for the sacrifices she did. but when you came and tbh I found a reason to live for myself, for being with you".

"Life has always been tough for us and maybe it only made our bond stronger that after all this too we are standing by each other. Well, it's Bahala Naa, it's to happen and it did. I promise I'll love you for the lifetime, even if you choose to not move a bit, I'll bring all the world in front of you'.

She sneered, "you're being too much", I crossed my fingers, "I swear, you're a Wizard and I'll become your wand which will bring everything to you like a magic", she shook her head, I continued, "ahh..my knees are aching, can you please wear the ring?". She smirked, "well...just a few minutes and already you're complaining and claims that I'll serve you".

I sighed, "alright! I can keep sitting for the whole night...or maybe until you answer my question", her expressions softens, "you've not even asked the question yet", Oh yes, I was so busy in my own words, I took a deep breath, fixed my collar and brings the ring in front of her, "Jay-Jay, I want to be the person whom you want to see in morning first, the person who will make you feel the most lovable, the man who can protect you, will you give me the chance to become father of your kids?"

My body went numb for a moment, but I gathered myself, "Will you marry me, Jay?", her eyes were filled with tears, I'm glad that were of happiness, she slightly nods, "yes I'll", I asked her to be loud, she closes her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath, "yes..yes I'll marry you Keifer! I'll", now her voice was enough high to make it hear her answer clear to the universe.

I make her wear the ring, she helped me in getting up, "Mr President, you literally won my heart without any elections", I rolled my shoulders, "well...there's no worthy opponent and if there's I'd have eliminated them", she chuckled, "you're idiot".

She looked at the ring and kissed it, and her eyes were glassy "it's beautiful like our love. When I was actually broken you healed me with your care. And tbh you're my magical wand, whenever I spelled lumos you've brightened up my life". 

"The way you've inscribed your name on my heart, it's become irreplaceable. Our story literally proved the theory of invisible string, that wherever you'll go, the one you're connected with always find a way towards you".  

"I know I cursed you, I hate you, but in the end it's only you whom I loved with all my heart. I also want to be the person whom you approach first, whether it's a good thing or a bad thing happened to you. I've included you in my prayers, Keifer!".

"If I'm shining like moon, then you're sky where I can shine brightly., trust me you're the best thing happened to me". 

 "I don't know why God led us through this many problems, that we've yearned for each other's presence more than we've been together", and I really agree, "I know, we've cried for each other rather than kissed". 

She smiled, and hugs me, "I love you, and can't wait to become your bride, your Mrs Watson", I kissed her forehead, "and I want to be your Mr Mariano, and give me a daughter asap", she hits my shoulders, "you're crazy". I looked into her eyes, and we both moved closer, I captured her soft lips, the kiss was really something else, like we're already breathing as one. 

This was the most beautiful feeling, and I realized that's all I wanted in my life, it doesn't matter if die right now, maybe nothing is better than leaving your body in arms of your beloved. 

Soon, we heard the hustle of cars, "everyone is here I guess, now will celebrate together", and the car stopped by nearby turn, but didn't came closer to us. Our friends and family get off the car as I asked them to come and give us good wishes for our marriage. 

Jay turned to everyone standing out there, "why are they not celebrating Keifer? but looking tensed", I too noticed, "I don't know let me see". I called them, "Aries...Yuri...Keigan...Keiran", but none of them replied, Jay too approached them, "Kuya Angelo, Aries...Ci-N, David... Percy?", she looked at me, "why are they not replying?". Even I was confused, "and see they're all standing around something. 

I heard Aries saying, "I told him not to do this", and Angelo clenched his fists, "stupid...stupid ideas...it can only emerge in Keifer's brain". I don't know why they are scolding me, when I proposed their sister in such a beautiful way and ready to keep their chaos with me for lifetime.

Keiran was hugging Keigan tightly, "he promised us that he'll never leave us but...", I realised that he's crying but what's wrong with these people? Jay moved forward and I followed her, "Aries? Kuya?", and her parents were arguing, "we never gave the love she deserved..and now". 

Our friends were just standing holding their head, "now it can't be undone, why did we all agreed for it?", David said, Yuri kept his hand on his shoulder, Percy pulled his hair, "they didn't deserve this man but a better ending". Ending? we just started our journey, I just proposed her for the marriage, and she said yes. What are they talking about?

We reached near them, Jay again called them, "Aries?", she held his hand but it didn't affected him, and I saw a tear passing through his eyes, suddenly Jay gave a shocking expression, took her steps away and her hands were on her face like she's saw something unbelievable and I moved there as well, fucking hell...

It...it's us...our corpses to be exact. Our cars were crushed, and our body damn... it's only blood all over them, but still we're holding hands, I held Jay, she looked at me, "Keifer! this...", I don't want to admit, but yes, we're dead, me and Jay died together as our cars crashed, it's not nearly an accident but it happened in real, we've turned into souls.

"Maybe God didn't want us to be together as alive", I said while looking at Jay, she smiled slightly, "at least after death, we're together and will be able to survive in peace here".

I hugged her, wrapping my hands around her waist and she rested her head on my chest, "I love you, maybe we might go into another universe but there also I'll love you forever", she looked into my eyes, "me too, and if we didn't made it when we're alive but in afterlife we'll..".

I see myself entering in her body and hers into mine like our souls were merging, we were becoming one...this time inseparable for sure...it doesn't matter where we are but if we're together that's home, that's a heaven and it's to happen..."but may be in this way...after all, it's all written for us".....

Well! this was all from my side...I hope I've delivered something you might have loved maybe a little bit...but yes, I've poured my heart into it, every word I wrote it's from my inner core and for the characters I love. 

There's a lot of things in my head, but my poor health literally broke that link and somewhere I rushed the things.
