Eternal Love

Jay- Jay's POV

The love... Maybe the purest emotion in the whole world. When there are problems around us but if we got a person to stand by our side, it gives us strength to fight, me and Keifer have always been that for each other.

I can't believe it's true, that we're not alive but turned into souls, but we're together that's what matters. Maybe we didn't get to live a happily ever after kinds of perfect life... something everyone dream of. And it's never with us from start, when our story started with rivalry and enmity but gradually turned into friendship...and more than that into something pure...called love.

But trust me, imperfect stories are the best one... because it really shows the beauty of love.. the strength of this emotion that it can overshadow everything. Today me and Keifer standing together, hand in hand maybe entering into a new phase or can say a new life. Idk about the destiny but this journey with him is precious for me, "we're not able to make it when we're alive, maybe afterlife we'll".

He hugged me, I placed my head near his heart, "it has to happen...maybe in this way but after all, it's all written for us", it seemed like our souls merged into each other...we became one- and this-time inseparable for sure.

But seeing our families and friends, of course not being with them will always be a regret and looking them crying for us hurt the most. When doctor declared us as we are no more it seems unbearable but that's what life is. It might take a little time, but they'll get busy in their life and move on. And then we will only become a memory for them.

Author's POV

Aries gets up, "what you guys think? if you'll remain sad like this it'll bring them back. No..but if they're seeing us, it might be hurting for both. And it's Jay's birthday as well, we have to gather up ourselves and do the rest. Also, Kuya it's your daughter's special day as well, her baptism". Everyone nods.

As per rituals all the ceremony of saying a last goodbye held, everyone offered flowers to Jay and Keifer and prayed for peace of their souls.

In church, Fernandez family arrived for baptism of Angelo's daughter, "It's my cousin's birthday but she's no more so I'll name my daughter on her name, Jasper Jean Fernandez" he kissed her forehead, "Jay-Jay, our little Jay". The priest sprinkled holy water on her, "it's said that, when you name a kid after someone special, their souls get attach to them".

{"They literally named my niece after me, maybe that's how they'll always remember me", Jay exclaimed and saw towards Keifer, "and about me?", this man can never change, "okay! someday Aries will have a baby maybe a boy they might name him Keifer". He shook his head, "they'll become cousins Jay! and we're lovers, they need to be from different family".

Jay agrees, "maybe Keigan will have a son", he again denied, "no..no it might take few years for him to come, your another version cannot be younger to my another version". She hit on his arm, "you're idiot, a complete idiot". He groaned, "have mercy over me here, Jay".

Jay smiled, "there might be some way for you too...after all we've to be together anyways ", Keifer sighed, "true! but they've accepted the new reality, It does not matter if we left this material world but the love between us stays alive, in another universe...and also in the heart of people we are leaving behind. And we realized it and accepted our departure from this world. But our love is eternal & maybe in another life we'll again meet... }

Aunt Gemma said, "it's Jay's birthday we are arranging a communal meal for orphans, for Jay and Keifer both". She with her husband and Aries left, Angelo asked Ion holding who was holding Jay to sit for some time as he's to attend a call.

Another family came, a lady was holding a baby boy and sits beside Ion, and hands of kid brushed against little Jay, and they smiled. The boy waves his hand in the air and a holy bracelet tied in his wrist stuck to girl's dress.

Angelo arrives with a gentleman, "Ion, he used to be my college classmate, and they're here for their son's baptism". And that man introduced himself and his wife and son, they were the same sitting beside Ion, after a brief talk they left for their home.

"Jay-Jay, stop it don't make me run this much", Angelo was chasing his daughter, and Aries caught her, "you're really becoming a troublemaker day by day", she giggled, "Ari!". Aries kissed her forehead, "she's not only got her aunt's name but also all her traits".

"It's been three years of that day, if I'd have stopped them", Angelo sighed, Aries handovers Jay-Jay to him, "Kuya! I can also blame myself.. but let it go. I'm sure wherever they are, they must be together and happy in another universe".

Ella greets Angelo and hugs Aries, "hi baby Jay", she kissed her. Angelo sounds serious, "when you two are going to get married", Aries got stunned with sudden question and Ella turned red, "well Kuya, we're also thinking about the same", Aries hesitantly said. Angelo smiled, "okay! I'll talk with mom and dad, they'll meet your parents Ella".

Aries takes Jay, "we're taking her to a mall, for some shopping", and they left. Jay was just running into the corridor and struck a boy playing around, they both get up and Jay cried, "Ari, he hit me".

Ella consoles her, that boy denied, "no I didn't", meanwhile Aries asked the boy, "where is your mother or father?", that boy replied, "there or maybe there", he looked confused.

"What's your name?", Aries asked, the kid rolled his sleeves, "Keifer!", they both shocked, Keifer moved towards Jay and kissed her palms, "if you're hurt". Jay snorted, "maybe you can say sorry". He denied, "I can't...but I can buy you an ice cream".

Jay pushed him a bit, but Aries pulled her, "it's not a good habit, just do handshake". Aries brings Jay's hand near to Keifer's and he holds her hand, "lets marry, I saw in a movie when an adult offers their daughter's hand to a boy, they get marry".

Aries mumbles, "no way, he's going to kiss her right now", he asked his age, "I've just turn three". Keifer just crossed his fingers, "I'll take care of her always, trust me. I'm kid now but will grow up and become responsible". Jay started at him, "you're annoying".

Keifer's parents arrives, "oh this mischievous boy is here", his father said. His eyes went on Keifer holding Jay's hand, "I also have a wife like you dad", everyone coughed, and Jay pulled her hand back. Keifer's father pick him up, "he's just a little naughty", and Keifer's mother also comes.

Aries picked Jay, but he's stopped by Keifer's father, "are you Aries Fernandez?", Aries nods, he shook hands, "I was your brother's classmate in college". Aries greets him, "actually I met Angelo in church around three years ago during my son's baptism, he was the one who suggested me the name, Keifer, someone close to him".

Aries looked at Ella, "it's all a circle, and this is Kuya's daughter". Keifer's father informed, "we've shifted in the city last week, in your locality, will meet later".

And when Keifer was taken by his parents, he turned, winked and smile by looking at Jay, "that's how it's starting all over", and Jay smiled back, "it'll be fun to live it through again". -------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay! Ik it might be trash...it's completely unplanned, was not even in my unconscious brain but your comments made me feel guilty. Guess what, I even got a dream regarding this so Idk why and what I've written.

But yes, this was a try..which I did to make it a little better and fulfilling ending. In every universe, every lifetime, it's to be them....JayFer...

Now I'm quitting this place & JayFer fantasies...And. thank you for making me feel recognised..  I do remember every name either the one voting, commenting & will always do..
