Shooting star

Jay's POV

I don't want to puzzle up things but directly confronted Diana, "can you really win over with such tricks, Diana the princess?", there might be problems between me and Keifer, but no third person can come and ruin our love, when eyes spark the truth even loudest lie lost their essence.

"What do you want to say?", she asked, ahh that innocence. Keifer might be a jerk, shameless, selfish or even a troublemaker but he loves me like no one can ever, the way he always understood my pain without me saying a word, protected me while endangering his own life and last night he literally shattered the window with bare hands, I know he cannot cheat me with someone else, "I'm sure you're the one who forged the reports, there's no chance that the DNA can match with your daughter".

Diana sat with a smile in front of me, "oh really! we're together from last two years, how's this possible that we never get close you know, after all we're humans and these emotions are just not in our hand", I just want to break her face too bad that even plastic surgery cannot fix her. One more word about my man and you're going straight to the hell.

"He's a man, and when there's someone beautiful as me in front of him, don't you think it's possible for us to...", she said with a confidence, Girl! you're just inviting your death, when I can break the nose of a girl who was just flirting with Keifer at a bar, just think what'll happen to you for claiming my man, "you're holding it for nothing Ms Mariano, soon we'll get married".

I laughed at her non sense "really? he had explained everything to me, you cannot manipulate me with these words, whatever it's with you, I don't care" and I sat just across her, "you know...last night me and Keifer were together", her expressions faded, "I'm trying to make you realize that everything about Keifer belongs to me, everything... and he knows that well, his feelings, emotions, heart and even he himself from head to toe... there's no chance he dare to let other touch it".

"I'm thankful that you rescued him and helped, for that I'll always be grateful but that does not mean I'll give Keifer to you. I might be mad over him, but it does not mean I'll stop loving him, so listen stop claiming over my man", my voice was determined, "I won't mind helping you in finding the real father of your daughter, better stay away from my man". 

I left the place without saying anything more, my mind was stressed, I trust over you Keifer, but I will make you work your ass off until you prove it to everyone, after all I'm Jay- Jay and you cannot win me back so easily.

I want some fresh air, to breath freely and live for myself for a moment without any tension of handling the fucking empires, ahh your beauty Australia, let me dive into it and feel myself. I asked my security to leave as I don't just want Jay- Jay to enjoy herself, as I head towards lake side the winds around its shore were peaceful and tbh it made my mind calm. Today it's just me, I moved freely as per my wish and ate whatever I want.

The day without stress, it's fucking good and it seems like I forgot to live my life, well enough of this all, ahh when I know my happiness did not last long but troubles keep following, get back to your usual pathetic life poor soul. It's almost midnight and I realized my phone was off, oh fuck now how'll I call the drive, maybe I can find some taxi over here.

"Wow shooting star", I closed my eyes to make a wish, "please let us be together this time, for lifetime. and please it's not a dream but reality where we're together again". 

I started looking for taxi, but disappointment, do people sleep that early here. Maybe I can charge my phone in some cafe or, before I can move a taxi appeared, "oh finally", I stopped it and sat inside. Aries must be getting mad, damn get ready to get scolded, he's becoming stricter that Kuya Angelo. And Keifer, he must be trying to find me as well, but he deserves this ignorance. I remember the way to hotel, but the driver took another one, "is there a short cut", I asked and he just nodded. 

I was feeling strange, but this place was new for me, idk what should I do, and my eyes went on cord, and I put on phone on charge, "damn missed calls... Aries, Rory, Keigan and too many unknown numbers, these must be of Keifer". I started navigation and my destination was completely opposite of what we're going, I strangled the driver with the seatbelt, "stop the car right now", the car was stopped but it's all dark, I made him unconscious and myself drove. 

There was some other car following me, I'm screwed, gosh I'd have not come alone like this, and the fuel low, "fuck.... what I'm supposed to do? my gun? shit it's left in my car". And that other car took over mine and I just turned it but it fucked up and I had no other option then confronting those people. "One to one, get ready", I screamed and gladly my training as a shooter made me a fighter so that I can handle these losers, it's easy to tackle them.

But two people together tried to pull me from back, and dragged me inside the car, I was fighting, "grab her, lock that gate", one of them commanded and suddenly it's all dark, I don't know what happened suddenly my hands went numb, panic attack and I forget to take my medicines, "Aries... I..".

Keifer's POV

I knew it, it's her and she literally targeted my Jay and tried to harm her. That's enough Diana, I can't bear anything against her but I was silent because of the little girl, not anymore after all it's Jay and my family who are my first priority, and she even forged the test reports. It's already complicated and this all made it worse, how'll I explain to Jay. I need to stop this all, this fucking drama created by Diana.

It's time for the action, and I headed towards Herbert mansion, "you can't win with such fucking tricks", I was completely annoyed at her, and she just smiled slyly, "excuse me? wow you guys sync so well, she said the same". I don't have to think much but I know she must be talking about Jay, "she came to meet you".

Diana nods, "yes, and was angry over you Watson. she cursed me at first but later she's accept what reports says about you and Ivy", and Ivy came with a maid, "paa", and she squirmed to get into my arms, and I took her, "don't use this kid for your selfishness Diana, it might only hurt her".

I looked at kid, "I don't want to be rude but there's no lie that I've nothing to do with her, I'm not her father". Her irritating smirk, "you know that, I know that but others? they don't", she came close to me, "it's my mistake to be late" and she held my arms and tried to kiss me but I moved back, "have some self-respect, at least for you daughter", I handover the kid to her, "everything about me belongs to Jay, even my lips only she can claim over it".

Jay, please pick up the phone, why are you so stubborn and never listens to me, I'm not getting a good feeling I want to see you right now. Why your phone is off, I need your location. I couldn't help and head towards her hotel, when I entered the guard tried to stop me, "I'm Mark Keifer Watson, just don't come in my way". 

I already know their room numbers, headed straight to Jay's floor, but Aries stopped me before I can enter, "why the hell are you here?", he said while pushing me. I want to hug you Aries, but I need to see Jay first, "I just want to meet Jay", and Rory appeared, "Keifer!", he's only one whom I didn't meet since I'm here, but there's nothing else in my mind that Jay. 

Aries tried to stop me, "we can fight later, but her phone is off, and I want to make sure she's safe". He himself knocked the door and it's just Keigan and Keiran inside, "where's Jay?", I asked, "she told me that she's something to deal with and left around 5-6 hours ago". 

I looked at Aries, "5-6 hours, and she's back yet, her phone is off", we said in a sync, I was already feeling like something is not right, is she okay or yesterday only someone tried to harm her, damn I need her location ASAP. 

Rory is trying but I've got some more experts here, and they are looking for Jay, but the city is too big, it's been hours Jay, just contact me or Aries. Finally, the update, "wanderer's street? why the hell she is there", I didn't bother to tell anyone else but drove towards her, that road is abandoned, I'm sure she's in trouble, don't worry I'm coming Jay. 

She was fighting, "grab her, lock that gate", and suddenly she stopped responding, I grabbed her, "Keifer!", she whispered, and held my hands tightly, I took her into my embrace, she came into her senses, "get up and fight", I said. 

We both held hands and started tackling those men, and there was one left who tried to grab me from back, but she hit him with a stick, "don't mess with my man", and everyone was lying on floor, I looked at her and her eyes were already on me, she squatted down, "Keifer...", and I ran to her and hugged her tightly, "it's okay, don't cry Jay, don't cry. I'm here always for you",

I caressed her hair, "why did you came here? alone? without any security.", I wiped off her tears, "it's all because of me, all because of... I'm sorry for all this", she didn't say a word but hugged me tightly, clinging to me like I'm everything. "We can stay in a nearby hotel, you need to rest". 

She agreed, there's something really wrong with her, otherwise she wouldn't have gave up while fighting, is there something which I don't know. I booked two room, nodded, and checked in, "Room 405 is yours", she held my shirt, "can we share the room", she asked me, really? I was shocked but didn't resist and moved in with her room. 

Is she having a panic attack, Jay, I had your information but not about how're feeling or doing, "Are you okay?", she just nods, "I need to use washroom", and she went there. She pretends that she's strong, but I want to see her vulnerable side so that I can protect her like a man. 

I stood by the balcony, waiting for her and she soon joined me, "shooting star", I pointed at the sky and we both closed our eyes to wish, though my wish already came true, she's with me, I opened my eyes and saw her standing silently, "Jay! what did you wish?", she smiled, "happiness". 

It's just one word but, it carries a lot of weight, and we both know how much tough is to be happy, "and you?", she asked, I cupped her face, "you, every time", she just smiled, "still the same flirty man". She further asked, "you once made fun of me for wishing like this, and now you did the same". 

I sighed, "well, when a person starts losing things, he tends to do every possible thing and what's wrong in doing things which don't take away anything", I blinked looking at her, "maybe the universe might answer". She's looking deep into my eyes, and I gradually approached her and her hands placed over my chest. 

"Jay, I love you, and trust me I never stopped loving you", and I bent a little to match her height, and titled my head to reach her lips but I backed off, "you kicked me before then bit my lips, what'll you target next? well, for you lips I'll tolerate anything". She smiled, "you're such a shameless creature", and she pressed her lips against mine. 

The kiss was soft and lingering, like slowly taking away our pain, her eyes were closed and tears shining at the edge, and I wiped them off while kissing her, and pulled her closer so that our bodies were touching completely, my hands moved at her back, maybe we forget our pain for a while. 

She backed off, and thank god, this time none of my body organ suffered, "are you not angry over me now", she took a step back, "I don't know, but it's just I couldn't resist". I took her palms and kissed them, "then please don't go away. those reports are false, I swear I never let anyone else touch me, I'm as pure as holy rivers, and at the same level we're in Manila, no progress I swear on my caretaker and watcher". 

Jay was staring at me, "duffer", she leans towards the railing, "I know it, and that princess is trying to use her daughter. but it doesn't mean I already forgive you, yes but no third person is allowed to ruin things", it means she's not angry over me for the paternity test but have faith in my innocence. 

"If that's the case, then I'll easily get you", I said in determined voice like I'm ready to conquer the world, but she gets away, "it's not gonna be easy", and she enters into the room, "I'm sleep, manage yourself on the couch". 

I followed her, "I paid for the bed, I'll use it otherwise I'll be leaving for another room". She lays on the bed, "okay, good night", damn this girl, ahh....she knows how to control me but I'm Mark Keifer Watson, will not back off. 

I took the place just beside her, and hugged her from back, 'Keifer, don't do this", and she turned and lips get locked again, her legs came over me by themself, and my hands over her body, tracing from shoulders to waist, I pulled her over me, she backed off from the kiss and rested her forehead on my forehead.

She looked into my eyes, "don't break my heart this time", she said and I made sure she's looking into my eyes, "never ever, not until Higgs boson can be formed by a human", she was confused, "but that's God particle", I smiled, "exactly". 

My hands reached her back, and I reciprocated the position to come over her, "we never moved beyond this, right?", she smiled and her hands locked with mine, we surrendered ourselves to the moment, but she suddenly pushed me, "don't.. don't touch me", and I fell on the floor, "Jay! what's wrong? if you don't want, I'll not do anything", but her eyes closed tightly, and she was just kicking in the air. 

I held her hands and cupped her face, "is something bothering you?", she opened up her eyes and was sweating and looked at me "Keifer...", I consoled her, "is there something which I don't know, tell me. You're making me worry, Jay, did something happened?".
