chapter 43

Tris POV

*time lapse*

It is now the week of Graduation and Prom, Uriah,Tobias and I are going to a college in Illnois, it is a performing arts college, and we got offered a place there because of HIMYM. Since the series finished, Tobias and I were in midsommer murders for one episode, I got murdered towards the end, that was an interesting experience. Uriah was on two episodes of Doctor Who (A/N pretend it's the tenth doctor) and I got to go on set and meet DAVID TENNANT! I love him so much, I have a cardboard cut out of him. (A/N true story) anyway, it means we are going to be away from the rest of the group, and we havn't told them, apart from Zeke, after all he is Uri's brother. But until then, Chris has managed to convince all of the girls to go shopping at the mall for graduation and prom dresses. joy! We are currently on our way to the mall and me and Lynn are dying in the back of Chris' car. "why did I let you talk me into this?!" moans Lynn. "because they said that if we don't then they will make us wear heels all through the summer" I reply. "oh, yeah" I laugh. "hey Tris, would it be wrong of us to use your mum's store to our advantage, after all they are gorgeous dresses, and they are free with you." asks Mar. "no, it's fine, I barely get anything from there so with all of you guys, I make up all of the dresses I could have got but didn't! Oh and Lynn, she has this new line of more badass dresses, which you will love, trust me." she looks unsure but everyone else is on cloud 9.

We walk into my mum's store and everyone but Lynn runs off, so we walk over to my mum's new line. After about an hour of searching, I find a blue strapless dress, with a black lace over skirt, and a red strapless, sweetheart neckline peacock dress, which comes to mid thigh. (picture on right, other dress will be in graduation chapter). The blue dress is for graduation and the red one is for prom. Lynn found a dark red one for graduation and a white one with black detailing. We get the dresses and go and find the others. When we find them, they are still looking. They all have a graduation dress, but Chris and Marlene need a prom dress. Shauna has a empire line, floor-length lilac dress, with silver detailing for prom and a peach knee-length wrap dress for graduation. Once Marlene and Chris are done, Mar has a salmon knee-length drape dress for graduation, and a light blue one strap, floor-length princess style dress, and Chris has a bright pink ruffle dress for graduation and a light pink high-low dress. "They are all gorgeous!" I exclaim. They go and get them, and then are surprsingly pleased with Lynn and my choices.

When I get home I go up to my room and lie down. I suddenly realise that it is only a few days to prom and Tobias hasn't actually asked me yet. I ring Chris.

yeah hey, it's me, I was wondering if Will has asked you to prom yet-T

yeah, he asked me last week, it was so sweet-C

have the others been asked-T

yeah Josh has even asked and convinced Lynn-C

oh-T

what!? Has Four not asked you yet?!-C

nope-T

Oh that boy is dead-C

Chris don't say any--T

I am cut off by her hanging up. I hope Tobias is still alive to ask me.
