Chapter 7

Somehow he looks so.... Hot.... I can see his adams apple bobbed up to his throat. His warm breath hitting on my cheeks. Lucas suddenly wiped the sweat on my face gently by his sleeves and stopped as he held my cheeks, caressing it. By the hot atmosphere between us, we slowly move our faces closer.

Then..

*BING BONG! BING BONG!*

We flinched as we both heard the loud bell of our school, meaning that the first class has ended. We stared at each other and realize what we were about to do, immediately sat up with a one meter distance between us.

I turned to the corner and somehow saw something shiny. I walked towards it and saw a key with a sign on it that says 'rooftop'. I blinked widely and hastily pick it up.

It's the key!!! It's the flipping key!!!

Lucas turned, seeing me jumping around holding something and asked, "What's that?"

I turned to him and shoved the key into his face. "This is the key to our freedom!!"

He frowned. "Are you sure?"

"Yes I'm su....re" I trailed off as I realized that my face was now again closer to his. I staggered backwards looking away, blushing.

Lucas stood up and patted away the dust off him. "Let's go."

"Huh? Eh.. Y-Yes!" I stammered and took my things.

"What are you daydreaming for?" He scoffed.

"None of your business.." I muttered.

"Tch, so mean.." He unlocked the door with the key, pff! Obviously.. And walk out of the rooftop.

"Finally!! Freedom!!!" I happily jumped down the stairs.

"Be careful you might ge--""GAH!!"

"......... That's what I'm about to warn you.." He sighed.

I slipped down the stairs, kissing the hard floor. I slowly sat up, holding my chin in pain. "It hurts..."

"It's the floor you dummy, do you expect it to be painless?" He scoffed, crouching beside me.

"I know that!" I retorted back.

He sighed and faced his back in front of me. "Get on."

"Eh?" I stared at his back confusingly.

"I'll take you to the infirmary, get on." He demanded.

"Okay, okay!!" I sighed, wrapping my hands around his nape. I whimper as he suddenly held my thighs closer to him.

"What's that sound?" Lucas muttered looking around.

"M-Maybe it's the rat or something.. Hehe.." I nervously said.

He shrugged. "Oh well.. Grab on tight, okay?"

I hummed in response as I rested my head on his shoulder. This is nice... Just the two of us walking down the hall, not bothering the classes inside, just him and me. I closed my eyes in drowsiness, wishing that this would only last forever.

JENNETTE'S PERSPECTIVE:

"And so on..." The professor kept rambling some numbers and stuff while here I am yawning. I turned to the window drowsily then I saw Lucas carrying a blonde girl on his back, which I expect my cousin, who is sleeping on his shoulder with a peaceful smile on his face.

I giggled at the wonderful atmosphere between them. I sighed, too bad they saw the key... I really want to know right now about what happened between them!

• AFTER CLASS •

"Hngggg!!" I stretched my arm out as the last period ended. Yay! It's time for me to go home!!

"Yo!" Someone tapped my shoulder. I turned and saw Kiel smiling at me. "Wanna go home together?"

"That prank was a 50% accomplished and 50% failed.." I sighed.

"Why would you say that?" Kiel laughed.

"I mean, we locked them together, check! But I want for them to stay there until the class ended!" I whined.

Kiel stared down the road. "I'm kinda dissapointed too."

"Why?" I tilted my head to him.

He showed a smile but not that normal smile of his. "I want them to stay there for 24 hours."

I scoffed. "You... Are savage.."

"Am I?"

"Yes! And as a reward for helping me, I'm gonna treat you some Popsicle!" I poked his nose making him stop from his tracks.

He chuckled. "Maybe I need one."

I ran about a meter in front of him and smiled. "Last one is a rotten egg!!!" I immediately ran to the convenience store.

"Hey! Not fair, you ran first!!" He followed.

"Nothings fair for everyone!" I stuck my tongue out.

"Yeah?! I'm gonna be first!!" He laughed.

"Try and beat me!!"

This is fun. I never felt anything like this, my heart beating faster as I heard his laugh, blushing as I ran around, smiling like crazy whenever I'm with him.

Is this love?

After eating some good Popsicle, we parted ways. I decided to drop by to Athy's house, I want to tell her something.

I rang the bell two times then Lucas came out of the house. "What brings you here?" He said with a smile.

"Hehe, I just missed you!" I happily said as I jumped myself into his embrace. I heard him chuckled, he let go and kissed my forehead. "I miss you too."

I blushed and look away. "I-Is Athy there?"

"Yeah, why?" He tilted his head.

"Some girls business." I winked at him and walk in to the house. "Pardon my intrusion~"

Lucas followed and closed the door behind us and said, "She must be upstairs."

"Okay, Thanks!" I smiled and walk upstairs to Athy's room, by the time I approached the door to Athy's room, I feel nervous.

I let out a shaky breath and knocked on the door.

ATHANASIA'S PERSPECTIVE:

I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in!"

The door opened, revealing Jenny smiling nervously at me.

"..... Hi....."

"Hi!!" I stood up from my seat and smiled at her. "Do need something?"

"Athy... I have something to tell you.."

I blinked. "Why so serious?"

"Am I?.. Hehe," She scratched the back of her head. I let her sit beside me on my bed and listened to what she said.

"I-It's about a friend of mine... She has a boyfriend, who she really love, but then they moved to a other country, meeting a boy..." She trailed off, taking a shaky breath then continued. "She became kinda close to the boy, and somehow uuh, might like him.. She's kinda confused about her feelings, thinking that what she would do about it..."

I tilted my head. "She has a boyfriend, bit then she might like another guy?"

She slowly nodded, her hands fidgeting on her lap.

"Did she really like that guy?"

"M-Maybe... She said that she is happy whenever she is with him, and makes her life less boring... A-And her hearts beating faster, being just beside him... It's like her feelings when she is with her boyfriend.." She nervously said.

"But the boyfriend?" I frowned.

She look down, pausing for a sec then, "... I-I don't know... This days, her feelings became more normal, than the past..."

"That's love!! She better break up with that boyfriend of hers!" I jumped. "Or she might ended up hurting him!"

"Really?" She look up to me. "Like right now?!"

"Uhh... M-maybe? I-It depends!" I sweatdropped.

She stood up holding both of my hands. "Thank you!! She will be very happy!!"

"Y-You're welcome..?"

"Uhh.. please don't tell anyone about this!!"

"Okay, okay.."

It's weird... It feels like it's about Jenny.. But she said..

'I-It's about a friend of mine...'

Meh, I must be thinking things...
