Lost conversations- gold Celeste ————————————————————Lilith smiled as she looked at herself in the mirror. She'd changed into a posher outfit, her red satin dress hugging her curves perfectly.

Ash was on his way back to her house from going back to his own house to get into more appropriate attire, and she was so excited.

She took a deep breath as she heard someone knock on the front door, the sound echoing through the Howard household.

Lilith left her room, grabbing her phone and small red clutch bag before walking carefully down the stairs in her heels, opening the front door to reveal ashtray.

Her heart warmed, cheeks dusted with blush as she grinned at the sight of him.

He was wearing a black button down shirt with the first button undone, black trousers and black dress shoes. She took in his appearance before noticing he had one arm behind her back, making her giggle a little.

"Why's your arm behind your back?" She asked, her jaw dropping as he pulled his arm from behind his back to reveal a bouquet of red and black roses. She gasped softly at the sight, before reaching forward and taking the bouquet gently, looking back at him in adoration.

"Oh ash, they're so beautiful." She whispered, utterly lost for words as he grinned proudly at her.

"You know what's more beautiful though?" He asked, before stepping towards her, one arm snaking around her waist as the other tilted her chin up to face him. "You." He whispered, before pressing a soft kiss to her lips.

She blushed hard as she returned the kiss, being brought out of the moments as she remembered the roses that were now being lowkey squished between their bodies.

"Ash, the roses." She giggled, before stepping back a bit and walking into the dining room, laying the flowers down on the table and then taking his hand.

"Alright princess, let's go." Ash said, turning and leaving the house with her. She let him gently pull her along to his car and she swore, she'd never been so infatuated with anyone in her entire life.

——————————"Ash, I'm wearing heels I can't walk too far with my eyes closed!" Lilith giggled as she got out of the car, blinded by her hand in front of her eyes.

"You'll be okay beautiful, I've got you." Ash mumbled, one arm wrapping around her waist as he directed her carefully down a path, the sound of usual hushed restaurant chatter filling Lilith's ears as he made sure her hand stayed over her eyes.

"I swear if this ruins my makeup I'm gonna cry." Lilith laughed softly, making ash sigh and shake his head slightly, smiling before asking a worker for a table for two.

Ash managed to get Lilith to a table and sat down before sitting opposite. "Alright, you can look now."

She removed her hand from her eyes, gasping softly as she looked around her. It was an incredibly posh restaurant, everyone around them looked so rich, she suddenly felt very small compared to all of them.

It was beautiful, she was in awe as she looked up and saw a chandelier hanging from the ceiling above their table.

They both pulled out menus, her eyes widening at the prices as shock filled her veins. "Ash, this is so expensive!" She whispered, looking at him as he frowned.

"So? My treat shawty, don't worry." He muttered, shrugging before looking back at the menu.

"No I can't- this is way too expensive!" She said, looking back down at the menu. "I'll just get a salad, it's fine." She said, placing the menu back down before smiling at him.

He sighed, shaking his head. "The fuck, no shawty you're eating properly. I don't care about the price, just choose what you want. Please baby, for me?" He said, looking at her with a soft expression as she sighed and looked back down at her menu.

"But- it's so- I-" she gave in as he glared at her. "Fine."

"You know, I think that's probably the best food I've eaten in such a long time. It was actually amazing." Lilith sighed happily as her and ash left the restaurant, both content with their meals.

"Yeah, I love it there. I went with fez once. He found it when finding somewhere posh to eat with Lexi and I guess they came across it." He giggled, shaking his head at the memory of going there himself.

"I love it. It's so beautiful. I feel like a real princess." Lilith sighed in content and happiness as they got into ash's car, starting to drive back to ashtrays house.

Once they got back home, they walked in to see fezco and Lexi sat on the couch in the living room, watching stand by me. They both were crying, heads snapping to the door as it opened as they hastily wiped their tears.

"Hi, how was the restaurant?" Lexi asked fake cheerfully, making Lilith giggle as she kicked her heels off at the door, ash doing the same with his own shoes before they walked to sit on the couch opposite the older couple.

"It was amazing! Like, really amazing. I don't think I've ever been so in love with a place in my life." Lilith sighed, ash sitting beside her and pulling her in so she was cuddled against his side.

The four sat and conversed for a while before ash and Lilith left for ashtrays bedroom, needing to change into comfy clothes and wanting to relax after the long day they'd both had.

They changed in silence, comfortable with dressing with of each other as they had their backs turned, before getting into ash's bed and cuddling into each other, arms and legs wrapping together comfortably as warmth surrounded their bodies.

Ash leaned over to his bedside table, opening the drawer and pulling out bags of snacks, placing them on the bed beside the two of them before clicking onto bobs burgers on his tv, getting comfortable beside Lilith again and nestling his face into her hair, inhaling her coconut scented shampoo.

He loved the fact that her signature scent tended to be coconut. Her lipgloss, her shampoo and conditioner, her lotion, her body mist. He'd grown used to it and it'd quickly become his favourite scent, whenever he smelled it his mind instantly ran to the girl he was head over heels for.

He was snapped out of his thoughts when he felt the smaller girl shake with laughter against his chest, the sound filling his bedroom as he smiled knowing she was so happy today.

This was all so different compared to almost two months ago, where he was sat in the bathroom with her as she bathed herself, talking to her about her depression.

He knew she still suffered with the illness. He knew it would never actually leave, it would only lessen, but he was so glad to know that for the past month and however long, she'd been doing well. He was glad to know he was a part of the reason for her current happiness.

"I'm so proud of you, lils." He whispered into her hair, making her frown in confusion and look up at him, giggling.

"Why?" She asked, confused as to why he'd just randomly said that.

"Because. I just am. You're so strong, and so so beautiful." He whispered, before kissing her softly, her returning the kiss with no arguments.

Her heartbeat quickened at his words, she'd never been so smitten with someone before. She'd never experienced this feeling. But she knew exactly what it was.

She pulled away, looking up into his brown eyes that were full of adoration.

"I love you." She whispered, and she didn't know what happened to his expression as she said that, but she knew it was good.

"I love you too." He whispered back, a dark red blush dusting over the their faces before he kissed her again.
