Heaven and back- chase Atlantic————————————————————The first 3 weeks at her knew school had wracked Lilith's brain and stuffed it full of math, stupid boys, unread Instagram dm's and little notes she needed to remember for some mid-terms that were coming surprisingly early.

"Y'know, I really don't think the euphoria high scene was cut out for me after all. School in New York was so different, so much better." The said girl mumbled while sipping some of her strawberry shake, eyes scanning the plethora of people wading in and out of the room as if they were lost and in dire need of help.

Stupid fucks, they'd all been here so much longer than her and yet they were so insanely clueless.

"Yeah, I mean you stick out like a sore thumb, you're so much hotter than anyone else here bro." Rue shrugged, grabbing Lilith's shake and taking a sip before handing it back to her, Lilith glaring at her.

"Whatever, I know I am. Don't get me wrong, I love the attention I get here, and I still got the same attention back in nyc, but like. No one has their head screwed on right here." The younger said before giggling, going back to sipping on her drink when suddenly she felt the table jolt, a new presence beside the three girls.

Lilith looked over to the new boy and raised her eyebrow, eyeing the fake curly blonde with curiosity. He had face tattoos, bleached ends and roots begging to escape his scalp, deep dark chocolate brown eyes and a very slight goatee coming through.

Lilith stopped staring at him when she was aware of a pair of fingers clicking in front of her face, the boy giggling a bit.

"Rue, yo young friend got a lil staring problem." The unknown boy laughed, making Lilith roll her eyes and scoff.

"Fuck you callin me "young" bitch, watch your mouth." Lilith snapped, making the boy raise his eyebrows in shock at her unexpected snap.

"Ohhhh, feisty huh?! I'm Elliot, Rue and Jules' good friend. And you are?" He asked, edging her on to answer him.

"Lilith. Lilith Bevan." Lilith mumbled, before going back to sipping her shake, feeling her phone buzz repeatedly in her pocket. She silently thanked the gods above for the escape, before smiling at the others and gesturing to her phone, getting up and leaving

Ash❤️ is calling...

"Hey! What's up?" Lilith said, walking to the girls bathroom and sitting up on the counter in front of the mirror.

"Hey shawty. Ion got nothin goin on tonight if you wanna go and like. Ion know, do somethin?"

Lilith could hear the nervous twinge in his voice, smiling to herself before she composed herself slightly and answered.

"Uh, yeah sure! Where were you thinking?"

"Ion know, like the movies or sumthin baby. Jus me and you, we ain't got alone time for a while since you been back at school n all that shi. So you down?"

Lilith bit her lip, grinning as a blush spread across her cheeks. She swore, the smallest things tipped her over the edge with him. It was adorable.

"Of course I'm down. You gonna pick me up from school or do you want me to go get changed at home first?" She asked, picking her nail slightly as she held her phone between her shoulder and her cheek.

"Nah don't worry about that beautiful, I'm sure you look fly as fuck in whateva you wearin right now. Jus be ready for me to pick yo fine ass up yeah?"

"Uh huh. I gotta go babe, I'll text you in a bit?" Lilith said as the bell rang, indicating students needed to make their way to their next period.

"Of course princess. I lo-" he paused, Lilith sat in silence before he spoke again a few seconds later. "I'll see you later, my queen."

She hung up and held her phone to her heart, she could've sworn the organ was going to beat straight out of her body and do a little victory dance in the middle of the girls restroom.

She tried to contain her excitement as she hopped down from the counter, touched up her makeup and hair to make sure she looked perfect as usual, and took a deep breath.

But her brain was stuck, repeating what he said- what he almost said on loop. He'd hoped she didn't catch onto it, but she did, and it was the best feeling she'd ever experienced.

HE ALMOST SAID HE LOVED HER. ——————————The bell rang, indicating the end of the day as Lilith rushed out of the school in her usual perfect manner, the same as usual, as her eyes landed on her boyfriend again.

She walked to him, kissed him, and got into the car, waiting excitedly for him to get in too.

"Soooo, what are we doing then??" She asked in anticipation as he got into the drivers side.

"We're going to the movies, then going to a restaurant fez recommended to me, and then we're going back to mine and having a bobs burgers marathon and you're gonna sleep over. That sound good, shawty?"

Sure, Lilith loved the plan so much, but as soon as ashtray said bobs burgers marathon she almost screamed right then and there.

Bobs burgers was her favourite tv show like- EVER. She could binge watch it, all day, every single day for the rest of her life if she really wanted to. She absolutely adored it.

"Oh my god yes! Yes that's fucking amazing!" She squealed, bouncing slightly in her seat as ash grinned at her excited form.

"Ight, let's get going then beautiful!" He laughed before starting the car and driving to the theatre. ———————————Lilith and ash sat in the cinema seats, sat slightly further towards the back as it was comfier and emptier there, and they got a perfect view of the screen in front of them.

They'd settled on watching IT, deciding they wanted a good thrill and they craved the adrenaline.

Lilith would admit, she was pretty shit with horrors and thrillers and whatnot. But, with ash right beside her, what could go wrong?

Apparently, everything. Halfway through the movie and Lilith was trying so hard not to scream her heart out, she was petrified.

Ash laughed at the sight, turning her face so she was looking him in the eyes before smiling a bit. "You're okay, it's just a movie." He giggled, seeing the true shell shock in her eyes.

She was so good with real life horror, threatening situations and whatnot yet somehow she was scared of a fucking clown?

She nodded a bit and smiled, pecking his lips before turning back to the film. But, straight away, she was back to jumping in her seat, pulling her knees to her chest as she quivered.

Fucking clowns.

The movie had ended and Lilith and ashtray had left, Lilith pecking his lips before heading to the restrooms to freshen up.

She did what she needed to do, sorted her hair and makeup out and then left, frowning when she saw ash wasn't in the lobby.

Lilith suddenly screamed in fear and surprise as she felt someone grab her from behind, lifting her into the air and spinning her around.

She kicked the person in the leg hard before turning and widening her eyes at the sight of ash, smiling in pain as he laughed.

"What the fuck ashtray! Don't fuckin scare me like that man!" She panted, before laughing breathlessly, hugging the boy softly before looking at his leg. "Is it alright?"

"Yeah I'm good shawty, guess I deserved that one." He giggled, before taking her hand and leaving the cinema with her. "If it's okay, we need to go back to yours and get into smarter clothes. The restaurant we're going to is a bit.. fancy?" He said, trying to figure out his wording as she nodded and smiled at him.

"Yeah, no of course!" She muttered, hand in hand with him as they left the huge building, her veins still buzzing with adrenaline from the past 2 and a half hours of pure fear.

Her heart physically melted in her chest as he opened her car door for her, gesturing inside like a true gentleman.

"Oh wow, how chivalrous of you Mr O'Neill!" Lilith laughed, pecking his cheek and getting in.

"Only for you, princess." He winked, before slamming the door behind her.

Her heart pounded at the nickname, deep red blush rising on her cheeks as she bounced her leg slightly, happiness and adoration washing over her entire body, fully overcoming the fear she'd been previously feeling.

Holy fuck, she was in deep with this one.

Authors note: Such a messy chapter I'm so sorry, it's been a long day. I tried to make it longer to make up for the dumb irregular updates I've been giving recently, but I am needing to make a part 2 as we speak. I'll get the next chapter out tomorrow as it's like late for me rn and I need to go to sleep lol.
