𝟸𝟼. 𝐻𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑦 𝑟𝑒𝑝𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑝𝑡2

The tournament started and Miguel was up first. He walked onto the mat before Johnny pulled him to the side and whispered something in his ear, Miguel nodded and walked on.

He stepped on the line and the fight began, but Miguel didn't get into a regular fighting position. Victoria furrowed her eyebrows as she saw the boy pull up one leg. As the other boy ran up to Miguel, he kicked his other leg and sent a crane kick into the boy's face. Victoria gulped as Johnny looked over at them, the rest of the fight went like a breeze. It was over before they even knew it, Miguel turned around and Jules held her hand up as he high-fived her.

As the fights continued, Jules looked over and watched Robby as he won one after one. The thing that annoyed her was that he didn't get a rest, he was the only one fighting and so he had go from one to one and he was still winning. Aisha absolutely destroyed her fight and all that was left was Jules. She shook her arms and legs getting rid of the nerve as they all hyped her up. Jules slowly walked onto the mat, glaring at her opponent who had a smile on his face.

"Face me." The referee told the two. "Bow, face each other, bow."

They bowed to each other and then Jules pulled her leg back into fighting position, she clenched her hand into fist as the man called for them to fight. Jules made the first move, she rushed forward and sent a jumping front kick towards the boy, kicking straight into his face.

"Point Barron!" Cobra Kai cheered out as the referee pointed to Jules, she smiled and walked back to her line

She smiled as she looked out at the cheering crowd, her eyes glossed over her mother and a wider grin covered her face as she saw Nicole yelling out. Victoria absentmindedly clapped her hands as she looked at Jules. The boy got back onto his feet and they bowed again, starting the fight. He moved quicker this time trying to send a  punch into her stomach but Jules blocked and pushed him away, she returned the jabs trying to find a weakness.

"Come on Barron, No Mercy!" Johnny yelled out and Jules sent a punch but as her opponent blocked that, she spun around so that her back was facing his chest as she sent her elbow into his stomach

"Two points for Julie Barron!" More cheers came from the crowd and from Cobra Kai

As the girl rounded back to her line, across the floor through all the matches happening she saw Robby staring back at her. The girl just smirked and walked back to the line focusing, she only had one more point left. The fight started and the boy put up a good fight, both of them sent punch after punch and kicks towards the other and dodged the attacks their opponent sent. Jules started to become frustrated and then a smile crossed her face, Jules sent a punch that went to far and missed his face but it allowed her to pivot so that they were facing the same way again. The girl picked up her leg and moved it so that it was behind the boy's leg, Jules moved her leg forward sweeping him.

He went down and hit the floor with a satisfying thud and Jules quickly jab his stomach, winning the last point she needed. Victoria froze at the move, a memory flashed in her mind, the memory of her doing the exact same move and for a second it was like she was watching herself. History was repeating for sure but Victoria wished she was on the mat again, she didn't like sitting here and not being able to do anything. As Jules walked back Hawk and Miguel high-fived her as the rest crowded around the girl, she turned to Aisha.

"You really are the Queen Cobra." Jules laughed at Aisha and hugged her.

Bert's match came around and the small boy let out a breath as he walked onto the mat with the cheering from his peers behind him. Jules had never seen such a small boy so resilient than Bert. She sucked in a breath as they bowed to each other and waited, Jules watched as Bert stood no chance. She shook her head as Bert was pushed to the ground and didn't win his match.

"And that brings us to the quarterfinals!" The announcer

Both Miguel and Jules won their next fights, Miguel used a lot of strength while Jules was strategic. Of course she hit first but she drew weakness and found the perfect time to strike and not going in all guns blazing. Victoria slowly clapped as Sam rolled her eyes and the woman sitting next to Victoria leaned closer.

"Come on Victoria, put whatever feud you and Johnny had aside, that's your daughter there and she's kicking ass!" Amanda said and Victoria nodded but it still felt wrong

It wasn't even Johnny, her mind filled with memories of Terry Silver and Mike Barnes. It filled with memories of how they almost killed her, Cobra Kai stood for nothing good so why did Julie choose it?

Jules and Miguel had moved on to the semifinals, now the last couple of fights were Aisha, Hawk, and Robby. Jules watched Robby's fight and how he won with flying colors, it just made her angrier. Now they all crowded around Aisha fight and watched the girl fight.

"Come on Isa, you got this!" Jules yelled as she watched Aisha put everything she had into her fight

She hit the boy's feet and he went down, scoring a point for Aisha. Jules cheered louder than the rest except for Sam, it was 2-2 now. All Aisha needed was one last point at it would be all Cobra Kai to the top. The two got back on their lines and started again but this time, her opponent swept her legs. Aisha went down and then as if to rub in the fact, he brought his leg down into her side. They all gasped as Aisha yelled out in pain, she quickly got up and walked to the side.

"Hey you made it to the quarterfinals." Jules said trying to calm her down but Aisha just grabbed her things and left.

Jules knew she was angry and wanted to go after her but thought it would be better to give her space. Sam turned to Daniel and got up, Victoria watched as Sam walked after Aisha. Now it was time for the semifinals.

Four kids stood on the mat, Jules and Miguel stood on one side with Johnny as on the other side stood Robby and Xander Stone. The announcer stood in front of all of them, talking to the crowd. Jules stood there on the mat next to her best friend and her Sensei, her sense were buzzing and loved standing here.

"Yes! Let's give it up for all of our competitors. You're all winners." Jules scoffed at his words, he could say what he wanted but there was only one winner and that was going to be either her or Miguel. "We have seen some great fighting today, haven't we? But there can be only one true winner"

Jules smiled at that, now that was more like it. She looked over at Miguel who nodded to her, they both knew what they meant.

"And he-" he paused as Jules cleared her throat, the man nodded. "Or she is standing on this stage right now. Will it be Miguel Diaz from Cobra Kai Karate?" Miguel bowed and the crowd went crazy. "Will it be Julie Barron-Monroe from Cobra Kai." Jules bowed as people also started cheering for her, the girl giggled hearing Nicole go crazy. "Will it be Robby Keene, unaffiliated? And last but certainly not least, last year's champion, fighting out of Topanga Karate, Xander Stone!"

As Xander stopped bowing, the entire stadium erupted and he did a back handspring towards the announcer. Jules rolled her eyes and shook her head, as he grabbed the mic and started talking. Jules zoned out for most of it as she waited for the semifinals to start, Victoria looked over at Julie. She saw herself in her daughter, even now it was so clear. Xander rambled on about coming together against hatred and Jules just wanted to shut him up. As they all lowered their heads, Johnny leaned over to Miguel and whispered.

"Hey, kick that pansy bitch in the face." Jules suppressed a laugh as Miguel nodded. "Yes, Sensei."

"All right!" The announcer took the mic back from the boy. "First up, Stone versus Diaz."

Johnny turned and started walking off the mat and Jules turned to Miguel grabbing his arm. He looked back and leaned closer to her.

"Shut him up for me." She hissed out and Miguel nodded, a smirk covered his face. "You got it."

Jules turned and headed off the mat, as Miguel and Xander got ready for their fight.

It started and Xander put up a good fight, Miguel blocked most of his attacks trying to throw in his own attacks. It was 1-1, they were both tied and Jules was crossing her fingers and hoping that Miguel would win.

"Focus Diaz!" Johnny yelled out and Jules nodded. "What would a Cobra do?"

Finally after a while Miguel sent a spinning roundhouse to Xander's face. The boy was knocked down and Cobra Kai immediately started cheering, Jules and Hawk high-fived and yelled out. A smile crossed Jules's face as Miguel let out a victorious cry.

"That's 2-1, Diaz." The referee called out

"Come on Miguel, one more point!" Jules yelled out as they got back onto their lines

As the fight began, they circled around each other for a bit. Miguel moved first and sent a rally of punches that Xander blocked, Xander finally pushed Miguel back after dropping to the ground and jumped back up. Xander started kicking towards Miguel trying to push him back and Xander reeled back going in for a punch but Miguel spun the other way and sent his foot into the boy's side.

"There it is!" Johnny yelled out

"Yeah Miguel!" Jules called out

He had won, Miguel was going to the finals. A smile had plastered itself onto Jules's face as Miguel walked back to the edge of the mat. Jules pulled him into a hug as she laughed with him.

"Miguel Diaz is headed to the finals. Next up, Barron versus Keene." Jules didn't even hear the announcer as she celebrated with Cobra Kai

Johnny's stomach churned, as did Victoria's. She looked up at Johnny then back at Daniel, who placed his hand on her shoulder. He gave her a reassuring squeeze and told Victoria that Julie would be fine. Victoria nodded hoping that he was right. Jules stepped onto the mat as the crowd cheered more, the girl's eyes glared over seeing Robby as he stepped on.

"Oh come on, neither of you are going to cheer. Daniel you're not going to cheer for your student and Victoria you're not going to cheer for your daughter." Amanda pointed out and Victoria started clapping but who for? Was it for Robby or was it for Julie

"He's not my student." Daniel shot back. "All right, I...Amanda, I can't. The kid lied to me."

"So, he lied. So what? He's a kid who obviously wasn't in it with Johnny, or he wouldn't be fighting his students." Amanda tried changing her husband's mind as she grabbed onto Victoria's hand trying to calm down the woman

"You got this Jules!" Nicole yelled out cheering louder than anyone else

Jules stood in front of Robby, she clenched her jaw as Robby glared back.

"I didn't think it'd come to this but I guess I have to take you down." Jules hissed out waiting for Robby to come back with some quip

The referee spoke. "Face me. Bow. Face each other. Bow."

As Jules bowed she took a deep breath and slipped into her fighting position. She clenched her hands tighter, the referee called out fight and Jules rushed forward but Robby sent a kick that she quickly dodged. He continued to attack her, sending kick after kick towards Jules but she grabbed his arm and pulled him over her shoulder. Robby hit the floor and Jules jabbed his side before quickly getting up. Johnny gasped as he saw Robby hit the floor and Victoria held her breath for a second. The referee called out a point for Jules.

Robby let out a growl as he got back up, fixing his Gi as he walked back to his line. Jules was already there and waiting for him.

"Remember what you learned, Robby!" Daniel called out and both teens looked over. Jules glared as Robby nodded

Her eyebrows furrowed as she watched Robby take a breath and move his hands. She shook her head as she mumbled underneath her breath, oh no you're not fooling me with your kata shit. The girl pulled her leg back into fighting position and got ready, the fight started and Robby barely opened his eyes when Jules started attacking him. He just stepped to the side and pushed her as he got ready again. Jules whipped around, angrier and they circle each other for a bit before Jules attacked him with a front kick. He blocked it easily, she was letting her emotions take control and was just trying to hit Robby with anything, she pulled her head back as Robby tried punching her but didn't see the wheel kick.

She fell to the ground and grabbed her cheek where it stung. Victoria gasped as she felt the blood running from her nose and she lifted up her hand to make sure it wasn't real. Jules laid on the ground for a second as referee called point for Robby, her hands clenched as she let out an angry grunt. Jules jumped up and rubbed her cheek as she glared at Robby.

"That was a lucky point." She barked at Robby as they stood inches from each other. "It's gonna be your last."

"Why? Gotta go play with some other guys because one wasn't enough." Robby hissed back

Robby turned around and the referee stood between them but Jules didn't move. She was seething and all she could see was red, Jules hated Robby in that moment. He was just like his father and her body moved faster than her brain, before she knew it Jules had pushed the referee and sent a kick straight into his shoulder blade. Robby crumbled to the ground as Jules was pulled away by a referee.

"Get off me!" She yelled out as she pulled from the referee. "That's enough! Illegal contact! You're disqualified!"

Jules turned and stomped off the other way as Johnny got onto the mat and ran up to Robby. Victoria looked between the two kids and in that moment she had to make a decision, she started walking forward.
