07:11, 13 September 2024The day had quickly faded into night. It was dark outside and the only light the two teens had was from the building and the moon, Jules stood next to Robby as she scanned the area. Robby had toldย her all of it and now they stood outside waiting for Robby's two friends.
"Where the hell is he at?" Jules smirked as she heard the voice. From what Robby had told her, she guessed that this one was Trey which meant that the one in the stupid looking flannel was Cruz
"I'm right here!" Robby called out and the two boys turned. Cruz spoke. "Hey, don't be sneaking up on me like that, man."
Trey smiled. "It's good, man. What's up bro?" His eyes flickered over to Jules and he pointed at her. "What's with the chick?"
Robby looked over at her. "She's with me."
Trey nodded. "Okay, you got the code?"
"Yeah I got it." Robby answered reluctantly and the two boys turned to each other. Trey smiled. "I told you my boy would come through."
Cruz held up his hand and Trey asked. "What are you waiting on? Let's do it. Where's the code?"
Jules crossed her arms and rolled her eyes, just because Robby had it didn't mean he was going to give it. They were worse than Robby had told her. Robby hesitated for a second and Cruz picked up on the boys uncertainty.
"I can't." Robby replied and Cruz narrowed his eyes. "You can't what? Remember the code?"
Robby sighed then corrected himself. "I'm sorry. I mean, I won't."
"Robby, Robby." Trey sighed. "Come on, man don't do this. Just open the goddamn door."
Jules cocked her eyebrow as she hissed out. "I'm sorry, did you not just hear what he said. He said he's not giving it to you."
"Robby why's this bitch talking for you?" Cruz barked out but Robby shook his head. "She's right. It's not gonna happen."
Trey laughed as the two moved around. Jules turned to Robby but still kept her eyes on the two others.
"You can take them on, I'll back you up." She whispered and Robby nodded
Trey pointed at Robby. "He's really gonna make me have to do this, huh?"
Trey then turned around throwing a punch at the boy. Jules stepped out of the way and watched as Robby blocked the right hook. They oohed at the boy and Jules smiled.
"What, ninja boy teach you some karate or something?" Cruz asked before the fight truly began
Trey went after Robby who blocked most of the boy's attacks. Trey then grabbed Robby's collar and the two started spinning around, Cruz went to punch Robby but he quickly ducked underneath and started taking both of them on.
"You got this Robby!" Jules yelled out to the boy. Cruz looked away from Robby before saying. "Fine I'll go after your bitch then."
Robby couldn't react in time as he was still fighting Trey, he turned to see Cruz running up to Jules. The girl saw Cruz and put up her hands blocking the attack but as she wasn't in fighting stance, she was pushed back. The girl stumbled a bit and she couldn't react until it was too late, she saw the fist flying towards her face and felt the sting. The girl didn't see Cruz's kick but sure felt the impact, she fell to the ground and quickly rolled onto her knees.
"Julie!" Robby yelled and kicked Trey back making enough space for him to rush over to the girl who was trying her best to fight off Cruz
"Hey, she's not in this fight!" Robby yelled and punched Cruz
Trey came up behind the boy but Robby pushed Trey behind him. Cruz was able to kick Robby into Trey who wrapped his arms around the boy, Cruz winded up but Robby kicked the boy away before elbowing Trey who held him. Jules rolled away again, as Trey almost came crashing into her. The girl jumped up and watched the fight, ready to jump in at any moment, her face still stung but her adrenaline kicked in. Cruz grabbed Robby and pulled his hand back to punch Robby, Jules watched as the boy maneuvered in a way so that Trey punched Cruz instead of him.
Jules hissed as Cruz went down. Trey quickly ran over to his friend asking if he was okay. It gave Jules enough time to rush over to Robby, she put her hands on his shoulders. He cupped her face softly, his eyes full of worry.
"Are you okay?" Robby asked as he looked at her face, out of the corner of his eye he saw Trey turn to him.
Jules nodded and Robby quickly spun around, pushing Jules behind him as he blocked Trey's arm before moving and bending forward so that Try flipped over Robby's shoulder. The girl stood off to the side watching as Robby took them both out, he didn't even need her help. Cruz was able to send a couple punches into Robby's side and the girl gasped as Trey tackled him into the side of the building. Jules ran up and was about to attack one of them before Trey kicked Robby into the garage door. She heard him groan and her heart dropped in her chest, the boys laughed and chase after the crawling boy until the blocked him in a corner.
Jules ran around them and hit the wall as she tried getting closer to him but Robby held his hand up telling her to stop. Jules stopped in her tracks waiting for Robby to do something, he stared up at the two attackers.
"Nowhere to run."
"Nowhere to hide."
He then pointed up and all four of them looked up. A chuckle left Jules's lips as she saw the camera.
"Robby you sly dog." She giggled out and shook her head
He didn't tell her that he had a plan if things went awry. Trey and Cruz hissed as they saw the blinking red lights, they looked at each other before Cruz jabbed his finger at Robby.
"You better watch your ass." He said before looking over at Jules, he pointed over at her but hissed at Robby. "That goes for your bitch as well."
They quickly turned and ran away. Trey glared at Jules who just smiled and waved sarcastically at them. Robby slowly pushed himself onto his feet, Jules watched until the boys disappeared before turning. She rushed forward and met Robby halfway, throwing herself onto him and almost knocking the boy down. For the first time in a while, Jules had been truly scared in a fight but now that she was hugging Robby she let out a breath. Robby held onto Julie, his hands gripping onto her shirt.
Robby pulled always and cupped her face in his hands. "Are you okay?" He asked as his eyes searched her face. He hissed as he saw the bruise on her cheek and her busted lip
Jules just smiled and laughed. "See you didn't even need me Karate Kid."
Robby laughed out at that before he took her hand. Jules blushed at the action, her eyes flickering down seeing their intertwined hands before looking back at his face.
"Let's get you home." Jules heart skipped a beat hearing his soft voice.

Jules held onto his hand as she led him up to her door. She let go and turned to Robby as she smiled.
"So I guess this is my stop." Jules said awkwardly and Robby nodded.
"I'm sorry about tonight."
"What for?"
"You got beaten up because of me."
Jules smiled as she played with the door handle. She shook her head before stepping forward, Jules turned her head and pressed a kiss against his cheek.
"Even so, I'm glad I got to see you tonight." Robby froze as Jules spoke, he could feel his skin tingling from the kiss
She quickly opened the door and stepped in but stopped and turned around. Jules smiled at Robby.
"I know how you can make it up to me." Robby cocked his eyebrow as he listened to Jules as she added. "Pick me up tomorrow, I'll be ready at 8."
Robby laughed as he pressed his hand against his chest. "Are you asking me on a date."
The girl shrugged and said. "Only if you want Karate Kid."
Robby nodded. "I'll see you tomorrow then. Goodnight."
"Goodnight." Jules replied and walked inside
