"Fighting positions!" That phrase yelled by Johnny had become a usual thing in the Cobra Kai dojo, Jules had come to love the phrase

It came with friends, and karate. It was the two things she loved, and this place had become her home. Her life had started to become better, Hawk had grown into his new title and Jules was known as the "Queen Cobra", she liked her nickname as it was way cooler. Johnny started doing his usual rounds and kicked Hawk's leg forward.

"Stabilize your base, Hawk. Keep your balance forward. Full rotation when you strike." Johnny told the boy who took the comment with a "yes sensei!"

"Did you just flinch, Virgin? Holy shit. We got a room full of flinchers." Johnny mumbled

"Yes sensei!" The class replied

Johnny yelled back out. "That was not a question! Raise your hand if you've never been punched in the face?"

Jules turned around to see who hadn't and almost unanimously, everyone lifted their hand. Jules scoffed before she realized, the only three people who hadn't was her, Aisha, and Miguel. Johnny couldn't believe what he was seeing either.

"Put your hands down!" He commanded before walking back to the front. "All your lives, you've been avoiding fights. So you don't break your nose or lose a tooth. This concussion nonsense. So, there's only one solution, and that is before you leave this dojo, each and every one of you is gonna take a punch, very hard, to the face. Ms. Robinson, Line 'em up. Unflinch this group."

Aisha's eyes went wide. He wasn't asking her to punch a whole room of kids in the face, was he? She gulped but responded with the usual "Yes Sensei". She looked over at Miguel and Jules who just nodded. She walked up to the first kid and sent a right hook into his face, Jules hissed and looked away. Miguel walked into the office as the boy held onto his nose and groaned, Aisha moved onto the next boy. Jules walked over to the office as Miguel said something to Johnny.

"First aid's under the counter, there some ice packs in the fridge. We got a bleeder?" He asked as Jules walked in. She headed over quickly grabbing the two things she needed. "Yeah there's a lot of blood. Have fun with your talk about girl problems."

Miguel's mouth opened and closed unsure on how Jules knew already, was it that obvious? Jules just chuckled to herself and walked out, she headed to the side where those who had been punched were and started taking care of them.

"Here you go, that'll stop the blood." She said and passed out gauze. Another boy walked up to her and she leaned closer. "Move your hand, let me see if it's broken. Uh...no it's okay, take an ice pack."

More and more boys walked over to Jules as Aisha continued on. They all stood off on a side and groaned as they held her ice packs to their face or had a gauze sticking in their nose. The sight was funny, a whole room of boys looking so beaten up and Aisha stood there not even breaking a sweat.

"Don't be a pussy! Next, Hiyah" Aisha yelled at one of the boys and Jules called back laughing. "Go easy on them Isa, we're running out of ice packs!"

Aisha moved like a missile on a mission and she finally got to Hawk. He nodded at her and she let her hand fly, Aisha hit him so hard the boy flew back. Jules and the other kids hissed and oohed at the boy, Hawk held onto his nose.

"He's okay!" Aisha yelled and Jules rolled her eyes but Hawk nodded. "I'm okay. It's just a tooth."

"Hawk!" The girl called as he slowly pulled himself up. He walked over to her. "You okay?"

He nodded. "Yeah, I just never knew that Aisha's a hard puncher."

Jules laughed. "You're right. Could you pull the side of your lip back? I need to see if you're bleeding." Hawk pulled his lip back but Jules saw no sign of blood. "Do any of your teeth feel weird? Your nose has a bit of bruising but it's not broken, take this ice pack it'll help with the swelling."

He smiled and took his. "Thanks Jules, you're the best."

The injuries started to slow down as there wasn't many guys left and finally, it was done. Aisha walked over as she hissed and looked down at her hand, Jules caught a sight and hissed. Her knuckles were bruised and almost bloody.

"Hey Isa, come here. I got an ice pack with your name on it." Jules held up an ice pack and the girl laughed as she walked over. "God some of those guys had thick skulls."

"Yeah, well I mean you just beat up an entire room full of boys. How many girls our age can say that they did that." Jules commented before playfully hitting her shoulder. "If Yas or Moon were here to see that, they would be shaking in their boots and they would be too scared to mess with you ever again."

Aisha laughed, as her smile got bigger. "Thank you Jules for always being there for me."

"Of course, I mean you're my friend and it's totally not because I'm kinda scared of you." The two girls bursted out laughing at that

Jules groaned as she stretched, she didn't want to be here. Robby had asked her to meet him tonight and weirdly, he wanted to meet her at LaRusso's Auto. She wanted it to be later that night, and not right now and here. Her, Miguel, Aisha, and Hawk all sat in a circle stretching out as Miguel droned on about his date with Sam.

"Oh my god!" Jules said out loud both from the stretch and Miguel. The boy rolled his eyes. "Come on Jules I need your help."

"You could take her to get tattoos." Hawk told Miguel and the two girls laughed thinking it was a joke. Hawk stood up and started taking off his shirt as he said. "I know a guy, just hooked me up with this bad boy."

He pulled his Gi off and turned around showing off his hawk...which had a Mohawk.

Jules hummed out. "Ah, it's a Hawk with a Mohawk, how clever Hawk."

"That is badass." Aisha said

He turned around and pulled his Gi back on as he started tying it. "14 hours in the chair. You ever want to change something Jules, I know a guy. You would look great with a tattoo."

"Wait. Are your parents okay with that?" Aisha and Ed and Hawk shook his head. "Oh, they have no idea. Definitely gonna have to wear a T-shirt until college. Probably longer, p-please don't tell them."

Eli wasn't completely gone, that last sentence reminded Jules of the nerdy boy she knew. Miguel turned his head and smiled.

"Uh...any other suggestions?" He said as he looked at the two girls who shook their heads.

"Don't look at us." They told Miguel as Jules added. "We're not friends with Sam, at least not anymore."

"Okay, but I need your help." Miguel turned to Aisha knowing that he could break her easier than Jules. The girl sighed. "Fine. Um...I know that she likes chocolates and astronomy."

"I can work with that." A smile covered Miguel's face as a voice boomed out. "Banned? What are you talking about?"

Jules and Miguel quickly got up and ran over to Johnny's office. Miguel walked in first and Jules leaned against the wall blocking the entrance.

"No you don't ban me. I'll ban you!" Johnny yelled into the phone before slamming it into the receiver and then onto the desk

"Sensei, what's going on?" They asked quietly and Johnny hissed out. "There's a lifetime ban on Cobra Kai from entering the tournament."

"What!" Miguel spat out. "How is that fair."

Jules's eyebrows furrowed as Johnny shook his head. "It's not. There's nothing I can do about it."

"What happened to 'never accept defeat?', there is no 'no'?" Miguel asked as he walked up to the desk

Johnny replied. "That was girl advice. This is different. This is the real world, there are rules."

"Since when do you care about rules." Jules laughed out as she also walked up to the desk. "'We don't take no for an answer' you said that! You gotta fight this."

The three paused for a second, the two teens waited for their mentor to say something or do anything. Jules's eyes searched his face for some sort of reaction but all Johnny did was nod.

"You know what? You're right." He stood up and started walking around the table. "I'm gonna go down there and beat their asses."

"No no no." Miguel quickly stopped their Sensei. "That's not what Jules meant. We're saying maybe there's a more delicate approach, Sensei?"

"The way of the fist is not delicate. Cobras are not delicate." Johnny emphasized

Jules nodded. "Yes, okay forget delicate. We're just saying." The girl said calmly as she was trying to get through to her Sensei. "Maybe there's a smarter way to fight back?"

It seemed like it finally clicked in Johnny's brain

This place felt foreign to Jules, of course she had been back here but still it felt like she wasn't supposed to be here. Jules saw the Bonsai trees and smiled as she saw the back of Robby's head. Daniel had just been in here, that's how she knew where to find Robby.

"Hey I see you've made it to third base with Daniel." Jules said startling the boy. Robby looked over to the side and smiled at the girl

"How'd you get back here?" He asked as she sat down. Jules tilted her head. "My mother is best friends with the guy, it's practically my birthright to be in here."

That got a chuckle out of Robby. Jules looked over at the counter, seeing the Bonsais. She didn't like her mother but there was something she did like from her mother's stories, and that was Mr. Miyagi. He sounded like a chill dude but not only did she like hearing about Miyagi, she liked his Bonsais. She found them interesting, and she picked up a pair of scissors and pruned a tree.

"They're funny little dudes, kinda like us. We prune them into how we want to see them, kinda like what we do with our future." Robby didn't know why those words hit too close to home when a few seconds ago Daniel had said almost the exact same thing

It made the boy think about the lunch he had today. Did he really want to give up this nice life he had made for himself? And for what? So that he could go back to hanging out with his friends who weren't the best influences? A ding pulled him from his thoughts as he looked down at his phone but the distraction didn't help. Robby sighed and placed his phone down.

"Can I tell you something?" Robby asked as he looked over at Jules. The girl nodded. "Yeah of course."

"You have to promise me you won't tell your mom or Daniel okay." Robby's voice was serious. Jules looked up at him and furrowed her eyebrows. "You're scaring me Robby."
