Chapter 4- Part 1

Liam

Why am I so nervous? She's only a girl. I haven't felt this way about someone except for one person, Danielle. But, she's history.

*knock knock*

I was suddenly pulled out of my train of thought. My stomach has butterflies in them and they get worse with ever step I take to the door. God, why am I so nervous? My palms are sweat too. Oh god, just open the damn door Liam!

I open the door with a smile on my face "Hey gals!"

"Hey Leeyum!" Skylar said. She was so cute. She runs into the room and jumps onto the couch.

"Hey!" Jasmine said happily. She stares at me while I do back. I snap out of it.

"Come on in. It seems that Skylar has already gotten comfortable." I say to ease the tension.

"Haha, yeah" Jasmine says while smiling. I notice though that she is scared and I just keep staring at her to figure out why. "Sooo" Jasmine says to break my out of my trance of staring at her.

"Yeah, I ordered some pizza and it will be here soon," I say while looking at the ground. God, what happened to my confidence!

"Okay, cool!" Jasmine says. She looks like she is having s battle in her mind. That makes me smile.

"Lets watch a movie!" Skylar says really excitedly.

"Okay, here, I have netflix on my phone. Wanna watch Tangled?" I asked her. Hmm maybe I can get Sky to go watch it in the bedroom, so I can have alone time with Jasmine.

"Yeah!" Sky says while bouncing up and down.

"Okay here, go watch it in the bedroom," I tell her as I point to the door that leads to the bedroom.

"Okay!" and off she goes.

"So, whats up?" I asked Jasmine.

"Oh nothing much. Thanks for letting her watch a movie." She says while plopping onto the couch.

"Oh yeah, no problem." I need to get my confidence back! Like now!

*an hour later*

"So, whats your story why are you here at this very run down motel?" I ask.

As Skylar and I walk to his room, butterflies start up in my stomach. Oh great, I am so nervous. But as we inch towards the house I start to panic a little. What if he is like Dimitri? And he is gonna hurt Sky and me. Here goes nothing. As I'm about the knock, I realized my hands are shaking.

*knock knock*

Oh god, I can't believe I actually knocked! Wait, why hasn't he answered the door yet? Did he not hear my knock? Maybe he-

"Hey gals!" I hear Liam say as he opens the door while smiling his nice big smile that makes me melt inside. No. Stop.

"Hey Leeyum!" Sky says while she runs into the room and jumps up onto the couch. Oh god!

"Hey!" Thats all I could say! I didn't know what else to say. The butterflies are leaving me restricted. I just look into his eyes and just stand there, not wanting to move.

"Come on in. It seems that Skylar has already gotten comfortable." Liam says to break the tension, thank god!

"Haha, yeah" I say while smiling my nervous smile. God, I'm scared! Let's just hope he doesn't notice. He just keeps staring at me. "Sooo" I say to break the awkward silence.

"Yeah, I ordered some pizza and it will be here soon," Liam says while looking at the ground. God, he's so gorgeous when he blushes! Wait, what?

"Okay, cool!" I say. No, not cool. I don't want to have to sit in silence. Oh my, why did I agree to this? I knew it would go bad, but I didn't think it would be this bad! Great, now I guess he will be happy once we leave him alone.

"Lets watch a movie!" Skylar says really excitedly.

"Okay, here, I have netflix on my phone. Wanna watch Tangled?" Liam asked her. Oh no, he must be bribing her. No! He's gonna have her go into the bedroom. Now, it's gonna get really awkward.

"Yeah!" Sky says while bouncing up and down.

"Okay here, go watch it in the bedroom," Liam tells her as he points to the door that leads to the bedroom.

"Okay!" and off she goes.

"So, whats up?" Liam asked me.

"Oh nothing much. Thanks for letting her watch a movie." I says while I plopped onto the couch. I don't know what to say. I can't say 'Oh no, not good. I'm running away from my abusive ex, who is also trying to track me down and get me back to torment me more.'

"Oh yeah, no problem." Liam says.

*an hour later*

"So, whats your story why are you here at this very run down motel?" I froze. How can I explain my situation with him, when I can hardly even think about it!
