Chapter 2

Perrie's POV

I opened my eyes and saw a ray of sunshine crept in through the window's curtain. I looked at the time and it was only 8:00 am. Normally I won't wake up until noon as I am a heavy sleeper and I love my sleep to dead. But today was an exception. I looked down at the sleeping beauty in my arms and smiled at the memory of last night.

-Flashback-

Jade had fell asleep while "Tangled" was almost finished. I carefully lay her down at the couch not wanting to wake her up. I took the remote to turn off the DVD player and TV, then walked back to Jade. I carried her to her bedroom and put her to bed. When I turned around and started to walk away, I felt Jade grasp my wrist.

"Can you sleep with me Pez?" Her voice was kinda raspy because she was half asleep. I felt my heart started to race and my body was getting warmer, just simply because of her touch on my wrist and the thought of us cuddling together. It's not like we hadn't shared a bed before, but I am getting more and more nervous recently and I don't know why. Of course you do! You fell in love with her more and more everyday you idiot.

"Sure Jadey." I tried to shake off all the nerve in my body, before turning around and face the brunette beauty. Jade moved a bit to leave more space for me to get in. I lay down next to Jade and she turned so her back was facing me and pressed it against my front. She grabbed my hands so my arms were held around her tiny waist and my hands were rested on her stomach. She put her hands on top of mine and moved a little bit trying to find a more comfortable position. I pressed myself closer to Jade if it was even possible and tangled our legs. I love being the big spoon for my Jadey and somehow I feel like I am protecting her. I would protect her at all costs. She is like the most precious thing I have ever seen in the whole world and my heart dropped just thinking about anything bad may happen to her. I won't let that happen. No matter what.

"Are you okay Perrie? Your body...is very warm." She asked and I am glad she didn't turn back and look at me, because I must be blushing like a tomato now, not that she could see though cause it was dark.

"...Y-Yeah..I-I am a bit...hot...but I am okay." I stuttered a bit and silently cursed myself for being so nervous.

"Okay. Nanite Perrie" I felt relieved when she didn't question me anymore, cause I don't know how to answer her to be honest. I can't say my heart is now racing a million miles per second because you are right next to me can't I? She would definitely freak out.

"Good night Jade" I squeezed her hands and felt her body slowly relaxed against mine.

-Flashback ended-

I couldn't sleep last night cause my mind was all thinking about her. My stupid heart couldn't calm down and the freaking butterflies in my stomach won't die. What are you doing to me Jade. It's moments like this I thought we act like a couple. I knew it's stupid to think like that cause she probably did that with Jesy and Leigh Anne too. It's what best friends do right? But I can't stop thinking about what if...What if Jade does have feeling for me and she loves to be close to me just like I do? We could sleep like this every night, and every day I woke up the first person I lay my eyes on would be her, the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my whole life. That would be my dream.

Right now I am watching the sleeping beauty next to me and I couldn't be happier. She was now facing me with her arms wrapped around my waist and her head on my chest. I kept an arm on her waist and raised my other one to brush her beautiful brown hair. I always love her hair, I would kill for her hair. Not only the hair, but her bambi brown eyes, her button nose, her soft and kissable lips, her amazing body, her personality....I love every part of her with all my heart.

I didn't realize I was caressing her face because I was deep in my thought. She started to stir a little bit and snuggled to my body ever more so there was no space between us. I grinned sheepishly at our intimacy. I held her tighter to my chest and rubbed her back softly. She let out a contented sigh and started to fall asleep once again. I felt hungry but I stayed in the bed cause I didn't want to let go of Jade. There is nothing I want more than to hold her in my arms for as long as I could, not even food. No one in this world could make me happier except her, even though she was just simply sleeping in my arm, and had no idea how I felt towards her. I pulled back a little bit so I could left a lingering kiss on her forehead and muttered three words I am dying to say to her for so long but never have the courage to. I love you.

Jade's POV

I woke up to the vibration of my phone. I groaned and cuddled closer to my pillow. Um that didn't feel like a pillow...I opened my eyes and they widened when I saw I was cuddling to Perrie, but I calmed down soon when the memory of last night coming back. You asked her to stay silly. The sunlight crept through the window and shined on her beautiful body, it looks like she was glowing. She looks like an angel. I beamed when I looked down seeing her arms wrapped protectively around my body. She is always so protective over me and I don't know why. I feel safe every time I am in her arms, like nothing could hurt me when she is next to me. I couldn't help but giggled when a memory came back.

-Flashback-

"So won't you leave your name and your number. Let's break it down"

"AH!!!"

Suddenly I heard Leigh Anne screamed, I turned my head to see a big bug was flying around, and she ran away in no time like it was a monster. The bug didn't leave the stage but kept flying at us, we all ran everywhere to try to get rid of that bug but did our best to keep singing at the same time. I saw the bug was right next to me seconds before and when I turned around, I couldn't see it anymore. I had a terrible feeling it had flied into my hair...OH.MY.GOD.

"Is it in my hair?" I asked Jesy. She glanced at my hair and then ran away. I didn't think she saw it she was just terrified. We all were so scared except Perrie, she was the only one kept singing at that time. Jesy then slowly walked back and tried to look at my hair.

"You called I missed it. You called and I missed it. It's in Jade's hair. Oh my god get it out her hair!" She pointed at my hair and ran away quickly. I was so scared and I didn't know what to do. I kept running around and flipping my hair hoping to get the bug out of my hair but that stupid bug was so obsessed with my hair and won't come out! I was so terrified and hopeless at that moment I just kept shaking. Finally a camera man came up and picked the bug off my hair. We continued to perform trying to pretend nothing has happened, and luckily no more bug were there when we finished.

"Can we just give Jade a round of applause cause she carried on with a bug in her hair" Jesy pointed at me and the audience cheering and clapping for us.

" I can feel it! Is it still there?" I asked desperately as I had a terrible feeling the bug was still inside my hair.

"Jade it's gone" Perrie said, trying to calm me down.

"It's you! You scared me! I was fine until you freaked out!" I pointed at Leigh cause she scared the crap out of me.

"I am sorry but that was CRAZY" Leigh apologized. I didn't really blame her because I knew she had a phobia of flies, but I just need to let her know she did scare me.

"My hair is so dirty I haven't washed it for a week so..." I tried to make a joke out of it to calm myself down.

"I tried to smack it with my shoe!" Perrie said and I tried to thank her but quickly interrupted by Jesy praising me doing well in this situation.

"HEYHEY! They ran away I stayed! I tried to get it out with my shoe." Perrie complained the other two for not helping me, and it warmed my heart she did stay and help me.

"Thanks Pez. You are my Jack to my Rose." I thanked her and I did meant it. Even though she couldn't get it out, but she tried to save me from that giant bug and that's what matters right? She is my knight in shining armor. She is my hero. She walked to me and pulled me into a hug. At that moment I wasn't scared of that bug anymore. I wasn't scared of anything. I felt safe in her arms. And there was this indescribable fuzzy feeling in my stomach that I feel every time when I am with Perrie. But unlike any other time, this time, the feeling was so much stronger.

-Flashback end-

I smiled sheepishly at my Jack who was fast asleep next to me and then I remembered why I was awake. I sighed and slowly untangled my legs from Perrie. I carefully loosed her arms on my waist and reached out to get my phone. I turned on my phone and saw it's now 10:00 am and I received a message from Leigh Anne.

Leigh

-Me and Jesy will go shopping later, you and Perrie wanna come?

Jade

-I would love to. But Pez is still sleeping:( I will ask her when she wakes up:)

Leigh

-So you two are not coming then because she could sleep all day you know:'(

I laughed at Leigh's text and continued to text back.

Jade

-Dont worry I will wake her up. I won't let her lazy ass sleep all day;)

Leigh

-Good luck then. You know how hard it is to wake her up lol

Jade

-Dont worry. I have my way ;) I will text you back later.

Leigh

-Okay:D

I decided not to wake Perrie just yet cause she must be hungry when she's up. This girl is always hungry. I got out of my bed and walked to the bathroom to do my morning routine. I went downstairs to the kitchen and started making breakfast. I decided to make pancakes well that's all we have. I finished in 30 minutes and put two plates of pancakes on the table. I went upstairs to wake Perrie up.

She was now cuddling up to my pillow and buried her face in it. She was so adorable and I felt bad I had to wake her up.

"Perrie. Wake up." I shook her shoulder and trying to get her face out of my pillow, but she didn't move one bit.

"Come on Perrie wake up!" I tried calling and shaking her for a few times but she was as still as a sculpture. I swear this girl sleeps like a log. This left me no choice. I have to do this as it works everytime, even though I felt bad doing this. I stepped back a little bit, clearing my throat and started yelling.

"PERRIE!!! HELP!!!"

Perrie's eyes opened in shock and immediately jumped out of the bed and looked around. Once she saw me she sprinted over to me.

"Are you okay? What happened? Are you hurt? Please tell me Jade" She kept shooting questions at me in her raspy morning voice and I could see her face was full of concern. She put her hands on my shoulders and kept checking on me from head to toe to see if I had any injury. I told you she is very protective over me. She is my knight in shining armor. Everytime she heard me calling for help she would run to me asap. Even though I had fake doing it just to wake her up for several times, she still ran to me every time. I feel so bad right now.

"Um...I-It's nothing...It's just...I-I need to wake you up...I tried calling you and shaking you...but it didn't work...p-please don't be mad..." I lowered my head in guilt and apologized to her. She let out a breath and started to calm down. 

"I am glad you are alright Jade." She whispered and wrapped an arm around my waist brought me closer to her. Perrie rested her head over mine's, and her free hand slowly stroking my hair. I relaxed momentarily at her touch, a warm feeling spread through my spine. My eyes started to get teary because of her warm gesture.

"And no I am not mad at you so please smile for me." She pulled back a little bit and look at me deeply with her ocean blue eyes. She smiled warmly at me and I instantly reciprocate her gesture. She should be mad at me by scaring the shit out of her but instead she told me to smile. She always wants to make sure I am happy, and it works everytime. She is my ray of sunshine.

"You must be hungry. I made you breakfast." I smiled and held back the tears that threating to come out. Her face immediately lit up and ran to the bathroom before pecking my forehead as a thank you. I was relieved she can't see me now cause my face started to heat up, and a few happy tears was finally falling down. She just treats me so good...No one else has ever come close to the way she treated me. Why? Why are you being so perfect Perrie?

A few minutes later she came back with a huge grin on her face. I smiled at her and grabbed her hand. I interlocked our fingers and led her downstairs. The butterflies in my stomach are going crazy.  

A/N That's the first two chapters:D  When I first started this story, I was like...I have to put the bug incident into it haha
