Chapter 46

After we eventually agree on what to order for dinner, since Lando's cupboards are completely empty, we sit on the couch watching a random movie on Netflix while eating our food.

After a while I stand up. "I'm going to go to sleep." I say, letting out a small yawn. "I'll be there in five minutes. Let me turn all the lights off and I'll be there." Lando says and I nod, making my way to the bedroom. Changing into a pair of shorts and one of Lando's shirts before walking into the bathroom.

I begin to sing a song that has been stuck in my head the whole day. It comes out as a mumble though, due to the toothbrush in my mouth. I hear a small laugh from behind me. I look in the mirror to see Lando standing behind me, smirking. "You having fun there?" He asks. I nod before returning to brushing my teeth.

"You are so gorgeous." He says, still leaning against the door frame. I rinse my mouth before replying. "Even with a toothbrush in my mouth?" I laugh. "Yes. Even with a toothbrush in your mouth." He smiles and I walk over to him, placing a small kiss on his lips before walking to the bed.

After a few minutes he walks out the bathroom and climbs into the bed next to me. I switch off my bedside lamp before turning around to face him. "Come here baby." He says and I quickly dive into his arms. Resting my head on his chest. He lets out a small chuckle at my reaction before giving me a small kiss on the top of my head. "Goodnight baby." He says. "Goodnight bubs." I reply before falling asleep in his arms.

I wake up to Lando's alarm sounding in my ear. He lets out a groan and moves to turn it off. "Baby." He whispers. I hum in response. "We have got to get up now. We are going to go see the house." He says, which quickly wakes me up. "Let's go." I say with a smile and pull Lando out the bed.

After getting ready we walk out the apartment, his hand laced in mine. We walk up to his McLaren and he opens the passenger door. "M'lady." He says with a small smile. "Oh, why thank you." I say in a posh voice before sliding into the car. He laughs and closes the door behind me before jogging around to the drivers seat. Lando pulls out the parking lot and I place the address into the navigation system.

Eventually we pull up outside the house. I climb out the car and shut the door behind me. "Ok I'm a little upset that you didn't let me open the door for you but you're cute so I'll let it slide." Lando says. "Oh really. Thanks babe." I say sarcastically before grabbing his hand in mine. "Let's go." I say and walk towards the house.

We walk into the house and meet the relator that's showing off the house. "Would you like a tour or do you want to explore it yourselves?" She asks. "A tour would be nice please." I reply and she smiles before telling us to follow her out of the entrance hall.

"This would be nice for a gaming room." Lando says to me. "Yes and the one across the passage. So we each have one." I say with a smile.

We make our way to one of the bigger rooms in the house, just smaller than the main bedroom. The room opens up onto the backyard. "This would be amazing as a gym."I say. "Yes. Especially with the doors open." Lando replies.

"And that's the tour. You can stay and have another look if you would like." The lady says. "Ok, thank you so much." Lando says and we walk out to the backyard. "This is huge." I comment. "I really like this house." Lando says. "Me too. I can see us living here." I reply as I look back at the house. Lando wrapping his arm around my shoulders. "Me too. Let's do it." He says. "You sure?" I question, my excitement growing. "Yes." He confirms. "Let's go." I say, a wide smile covering my face.

We walk back into the house and tell the lady we would like to buy it. "I do have other offers-" "we will pay for the whole thing right now." Lando says, interrupting her. "Alright then. Come to my office now and then we will complete the paperwork and the house will be yours. Just follow me." She says and we walk out, climbing into our car to follow hers.

After an hour, all the paperwork is done and she hands us the keys. "Here you go." She says and I take the keys. "Thank you so much." I say as we walk out back to the car. "We have a house." I say to lando softly, the realization dawning on me. He sweeps me up into his arms and spins me around. "We have a house!" He yells as he spins me around. My laugh bouncing down the street. Eventually he puts me back down on my feet. "I don't think I've ever been this happy with someone." Lando says, looking into my eyes. "Me neither." I reply as Lando softly kisses me.
