Chapter 45

"Move in with me." He says. I say nothing out of shock and he launches into an explanation. "Last night I was struggling to sleep and I realized it's because I missed you in my arms I found one of my hoodies that you had and it smelled like you which helped me sleep and made me realize that I can't sleep without you. These past days we have been in the same bed together I have never slept better in my life. I need you in my arms, knowing that you are safe and protected. Please move in with me." He says all in one breath. My heart melts at the sound of his voice and his words.

"Yes. Of course I will move in with you." I say back, my excitement growing. I hear him sigh out of relief. "So should I bring all my stuff now?" I question, a broad smile covering my face. "Yes but also let's find a house to make ours, one that's close to both factories." He says and I dreamily sigh, thinking about our future together. "That sounds like an amazing plan. I'll be over there soon. I love you." I say to him. "I can't wait. I love you too, beautiful." He says back before I end the call. A sigh of happiness leaving my lips as I jump off the couch, running to pack my stuff to move into Lando's apartment.

Since I got the apartment furnished I pack up all my clothes, shoes and all my other stuff into two suitcases and a duffel bag. Before finding the cardboard boxes and packing up my PC setup. Packing all the stuff into my car before carefully carrying my trophies and placing them carefully on the front seat. Eventually I empty the apartment of all my stuff and make my way to Lando's apartment. I phone my landlord as I drive on the highway, telling him I'm moving. My excitement building as I get closer and closer to Lando.

I jump out the car, leaving my stuff in the car and sprint up the stairs to his apartment. I rapidly knock on the door. As soon as it opens I jump into his arms. "Hi, my love." He says into my ear. "Hi baby. I'm so excited for this." I say to him. "Clearly." He laughs. Eventually he puts me down. "Let's go and get your stuff." He says and follows me to my car.

I pull my suitcase into his room and place it next to the other one. Lando opens the boxes with my PC setup. "We can't have two gamers in the house." He says with a laugh. "How else am I supposed to beat you at the F1 game." I say casually. "Oh I'd like to see you try." He laughs.

I collect my trophies from the car and bring them into the living room. Placing my P2 trophy from Monaco next to his P1 trophy from Silverstone on the mantle piece. "Wow. That looks amazing." He smiles from behind me. "My other ones are on the shelf there, you can place yours there too." He continues. "You sure? Thanks Lan." I say and place them on the shelves. "Well we are a team. Your trophy's are mine and mine are yours." He says wrapping his arms around me. "I like the sound of that." I smile before capturing my lips with his.

The next hour was spent scrolling through websites trying to find a house for us that wasn't too big and also relatively close to both factories. "What about this one?" I point out a single story house with a big garden. "That one is really nice." Lando says as we scroll through the pictures of the interior. "We could have our own gym here." I suggest as we scroll through the different rooms. "This house is gorgeous." I say. "I love it." Lando says. "I love it too." I reply and he take my hand in his. I look deep into his eyes. "I'm so excited to start this new chapter with you, my love. Let's call the lady and see if there is an open house soon." He says and I nod, giving him a quick kiss before he gets up and dials the number on the pc screen.

"We can have a look tomorrow from 9." Lando says sitting back down next to me. "I'm so excited." I say, moving to sit sideways on Lando's lap. I wrap my arms around his neck. "I love you so much." He says to me. "I love you too." I reply.

Lando and I decided to stream for an hour or two to pass the time. We ended up just talking to chat the whole time. They were asking us questions about F1 and also our private lives but we didn't go into too much detail about that. Eventually we decide to end the stream.

"Let's order food. I'm hungry." Lando says, getting up. "You're always hungry babe." I add before walking out the gaming room. "Hey that's not fair. Wait. Yeah you're right." He admits causing me to giggle. "Yeah I know I'm right because I know you Lan." I reply, flopping down onto the couch.

"Now come here and cuddle me." I demand, stretching out my arms towards him. Lando didn't need to be told twice as he dives into my arms smacking me backwards onto the couch and squishing me underneath him. "Ugh babe." I groan in pain from underneath him. "Wow the couch talks?" He questions with a smile on his face. "Wow you are heavy." I retort in the same voice, Lando pushes himself off of me but stays hovering above me, his arms on either side of my head. "Better?" He questions. "Much." I say, right before I connect our lips.
