~ Ik I always say this but PLS COMMENT AS YOU READ ALONG COZ I LOVE SEEING UR REACTIONS!!!! 😂😂 Enjoy 😘 ~

: Emma's POV :

I probably should tell Killian. I mean, we're married. And with marriage comes trust, and the only way to keep that trust is by always being honest. Always.

My mind is constantly switching between whether I should or shouldn't tell him my secret. Possibilities to what could happen either way fly through my mind.

If I do tell him; if I do stick to honesty and what I vowed to him three months ago.... It would hurt him more than being shot. It would be less terrible for me to punch him multiple times in the face. He would think I didn't trust him to know my troubles. He would start to believe that everything we promised to each other about being honest was fake.

Then he'd feel horrible about what is happening to me. However much courage and bravery he holds inside of him, it would still scare him.

But on the upper hand, he might forgive me for not telling him. We might be able to do something about it. We might be able to stop it from ever happening again, especially before the baby comes. My terror might end.

But on the other hand, if I don't tell him; if I keep my secret just that, a secret. It'll tear me apart. My chest will constantly be swarming with butterflies, guilt oozing out of me like honey. My mind will forever be battling emotions that don't even belong to me.

Just try to imagine that you are me in this situation. That you have to go up to the person you love so dearly and truly and face them with something terrible. Try and imagine having to tell your husband or wife that you've been having moments in the past three months where you have not been yourself. Where strong feelings for them have been drilled into your head daily. And not good strong feelings for them.

Just picture their pain once you tell them this, and then the terror in their eyes as you continue your story. Telling them that you've been, bit by bit, watching them kill their father in the eyes of another. In the eyes of their little brother.

Try and see why I struggled with this choice.

Please try and see why it took me so long to make my final decision; to tell him.

: Writer's POV :

"How long did you think you could keep this from me, Swan?" Emma sits on a bench by the docks, all around her is the shining crystals of the sea. The Jolly Roger sways lightly in front of her, rocking against the waves. All of that beauty might as well have not existed to Emma Swan however, because all she was paying attention to was the man sat beside her.

He stares deeply at her, not once breaking eye-contact. His words are no longer sooth nor calming, they are laced with pain and betrayal. He had been silent the whole time she spoke her tale, silent physically anyway. During the story Killian's eyes spoke for him. They showed Emma what she already knew; she should have shared this long ago.

"I've been wanting to tell you for a while now, Killian." He lets out a hurt laugh and rolls his eyes. "Don't be like that!" This slightly angers him.

"Don't be like that? Your not the one to be angry in this situation, Emma." Killian says, emphasising the way he uses her actual name. Emma stays quiet as to not anger him more. "We could have sorted this out by now! You could have no worries at all as you give birth, but no, you had to keep a secret from me! A big secret at that."

"I'm sorry, Killian! I just couldn't bring myself to tell you!"

"I'm your husband, Emma and I'm in this for the long run. So why? Why couldn't you tell me? Don't you trust me to know these things?" Killain's blood begins to boil. Not just at Emma, however, also at Liam for starting all of this.

"I was scared, ok!" Emma finally gives in, tears breaking free from their cage. Killian's face softens at her words, he becomes silent. "I was scared you would become afraid of me. I was scared you would become even more worried about Liam than you already are."

Emma swallows down her tears and continues, "I know you'd never leave me but that doesn't mean Im not afraid about our future. I am days from giving birth and I frequently have periods of time where I can't control my actions! I-I just.... I'm just scared."

Neither of the two lovers speak for what seems like hours in their own little world. One debating whether they should apologise or carry on being angry and the other trying to hide her brokenness.

"Emma. I'm here, and that means you do not need to be scared. What I've learnt from you hero types is one simple thing. Never give up hope. So stop being scared, and have hope we can fix this. We will fix this, together." Tears continue to drop down Emma's face, but not for the reasons they were before. They now fell in happiness at the fact she was here with the man she loved.

"I love you, Killian. Please remember that. Whatever happens." She manages to croak. He gives her a warm, reassuring smile, and she returns.

"Nothing's going to happen. I love you." Killian says. "Now, let's go home."
