Chapter 28 - Every Night

: Killian's POV :

It's been three months.

Three entire months since Liam turned up at our doorsteps, starting a war where the good side, (thats us) are completely blind on our opponents plans. It's felt as though I've been blindfolded, trying to go about my life happily and protecting my family, but doing so in the dark. It's been terrifying.

Emma is days from giving birth and I an constantly looking over my shoulder. The worst thing is, she thinks I'm stressing about the baby - which is not true - So she gets upset when all I'm trying to do is protect her.

However, Liam hasn't done anything; in fact no one has even seen him since Emma's and my wedding. Except me.

He has visited me every single night, creeping into my dreams and turning them into nightmares. Each night is the same horrible scene, playing over and over in my mind. It's as if he's trying to make me fear Emma.

The dream consisted of what seemed a normal scene; Emma and I getting ready for bed.

* Killian's Dream --- Still Killian's POV *

"Emma, love. It's getting late. We should get to bed." We both lay on the sofa of our house, watching 'The Pirates Of The Carrabean' for the 100th time. I met Jack back when I was captaining the Jolly Roger so it's quite humourous to see someone impersonating him on the moving picture box.

Emma looks up to me, emeralds flash before my eyes. She puckers her lips and says,

"Carry me?" Obviously I agree and swoop her into my arms, being cautious of my sharp piece of hardware and her bump.

I bridal style carry her up the stairs to our room, just how I would've done if we weren't interrupted on our wedding. She puts her finger to her lips and motions towards Henry's room.

"He's asleep!" She loudly whispers,"Shhhh!"

"Sorry!" I joke as I push open our door with my back.

I set Emma down beside the bed and go to close the door. When I turned around, however, I find that it is not just myself and Emma in the room.

The man who crashed the best day of my life stands behind Emma. I'm about to worn Emma about our uninvited guest but I'm stopped by something horrific.

She turns around and grabs their collar, bringing them in close.

"I was wondering when you would turn up." She smirks slyly at Liam, almost as if I didn't exist. My heart smashes once I realise what is going on.

Liam is not alone on his mission.

"Sorry, I got held up in traffic." He let's out a deep laugh, Emma giggles also. "But I'm glad I didn't miss the show." They both turn to face me, finally acknowledging my presence.

"Don't worry. Your right on time." And with that Emma pulls a gun from behind her back.

Then she shoots me in the heart.

That's what I wake up.

~ Yay or nay? I'm a bit iffy about this chapter since its so short... And it full stop rlly...
