Chapter 7: Be Alright

Today I had to prepare to bring Shawn back. I don't want to be with him anymore. He broke his promise to me. He promised never to put his hands on me again. That's unacceptable. I was pacing the room. I had my phone in my pocket just to be ready to call Jason just in case I need too. Then, there was a knock on the door. It was Shawn. I opened the door and let him in.

"Y/n I'm so s–", he started but I cut him off. "Let me stop you right there Shawn. Please don't try to apologize because you don't mean it. And no I'll never forgive you. I'm done with you. It's over.", I say. He looked like his heart crushed. "What ?", he asked. "I didn't stutter Shawn. Anyway I gathered all your things and put them in a box. You can get them on your way out.", I say turning to walk away. "Y/n hold on–", he says grabbing my hand. I snatch away from him as quick as possible. "No Shawn, get away from me and get out. I'm calling Jason right now."

I took my phone out my pocket and called Jason. The phone began to ring. Before Jason could pick up the phone Shawn grabbed it and threw it on the bed. "What the hell Shawn !?", I say pushing him. "You're not leaving me Y/n ! You're mine.", he said pushing me on the bed. "Not anymore Shawn. You said you would never put your hands on me. You promised ! But you broke it and I'm not going through that again !" I started to walk away but he stopped me.

Shawn grabbed me by the arm. I tried to pull away but he wouldn't let me go. I pushed him and shoved him but he wouldn't budge. I was getting scared. "Shawn stop it let me go !", I say. "No Y/n ! You're not gonna leave me for that asshole Mccan.", he says, tighten his grip. "I'm not leaving you for him. I'm leaving you because you're abusing me !", I say screaming hoping someone would hear me. "Abuse ? You think this is abuse ? I'll show you abuse, Y/n !"

I heard the phone click. Jason had picked up. Shawn then threw me on the ground. Jason was speaking but I couldn't hear him. Shawn began to hit me. He punched me and kicked me. I was screaming for my life. He then took off his belt and began to whip me with it. The pain was unbearable. It hurt so bad. It continued for so long that I wasn't feeling pain anymore, just betrayal. I heard Jason's last words before he hung up the phone.

"Y/n ! I'm coming and I'm bringing the gang."

The phone clicked off and I was left with Shawn. Blood was all over my floor. From my nose, and from my legs. Then Jason and the boys busted through the door. Willow and Ari was there too. I could tell Jason was devastated when he saw me. He punched Shawn and him and the gang began to beat him. Ari began to cry. Her and willow walked over to me. After that everything went black. I woke up to the sound of beeping. My sight was still a bit blurry. I heard crying and mumbling. Then, I heard my brother Jake.

"Dad s-she's waking up.", he says shaking my dad. "Oh thank god !", he said and him and Jake surrounded me. "Y/n, honey are you okay ?" Before I could answer him, Willow opened the door and smiled "Guys she's up !", she yelled. "Thank god !!", said Ariana with tears in her eyes. Everyone was now standing around me, but there was no Jason. "Where's Jason ? I want to talk to Jason.", I say getting impatient.

"He's outside talking to the doctor, babe.", Za told me. "What about Shawn ? What happened to him ?", I ask looking down at my hands. "That asshole is going to jail.", said Jake fed up. "Hey, watch your mouth.", said my dad calmly. Jake just rolled his eyes. He didn't care about anything or anyone except me and I love him for it. "We're just glad you're ok.", my dad said kissing my forehead. After that Jason and the doctor walked in. Jason's eyes were red like he had been crying. Jason's frown turned into a smile when he saw that I was up. He came and hugged me. He interlocked our fingers (picture up above)

"You're up. I'm so glad you're alright.", he said hugging me tightly. "I'm so happy to see you.", I say trying to hold back my tears. Finally the doctor walked in. "Happy to see you're wake Miss Y/l/n" "Just tell me doc. How bad is it ?"

"We'll it's not as bad as I thought it was. You have a big bruise on your back that's shaped like a heart. You have big whips on your legs but those can go away.", he says. I lift up my hospital gown and see the long giant whips on my legs and I gasp. Jason rubbed the whips softly.

"Basically what I'm saying is that you're not that badly bruised and you're going to be fine. You're going to heal fast and you're going to be very healthy."

"When will I be able to leave ?", I ask. "Now, if you want but you just need to take it easy on yourself." I got up from my hospital bed. I almost fell over but my dad and Jason caught me. My brother held my hand as I walked to the bathroom to put on my clothes. After that was done I was to sit in a wheelchair. They rolled me all the way to the parking lot. I was going to ride back to the dorm rooms with Jason. After Jason helped me in the car, my dad wanted to talk to him. I let my window down to hear better.

"Jason son, I just wanted to say thanks for calling me about my daughter.", he said putting his hand on Jason's shoulder. "No problem sir. I would've done it even if we weren't on good terms like before. I care about her a lot sir.", he said with a smile. "So do I son. Are you and my daughter a thing again ?"

"Well, not really. I mean, I kissed her yesterday but I haven't told her where we stand. I want to be with her.", he says scratching the back of his neck. "Well, I'm letting you know now that I approve of you being with my daughter.", said my dad with a small grin. "Thank you so much sir. I promise to take good care of her.", says Jason.

"Good. Now I have to get back to work and her brother has a soccer game in an hour so I need to get back to town. Take care of her Jason. I'm counting on you."

"I will sir, don't worry. I promise I won't let you down."

After that conversation Jason hugged my father and he got in the car. My dad walked back to his car with my brother and they were gone. I looked at Jason and he smiled at me. Then I turned up the radio.(Play the song.) "Be Alright" was playing. I was so happy that this song was on. Justin's songs give me strength. I began to sing along. I was surprised when Jason began to sing too. Jason has a beautiful voice. He kind of sounds exactly like Justin. We held hands the whole ride back. Jason helped me into the building. He walked up to my dorm room where my friends were. They all were so relieved to see me. They hugged me and kissed me.

"Welcome back lil mama.", said Za smirking. "Glad to be back babe.", I say looking at everyone. "I'm so happy to see you honey.", said Hailey hugging me. I could see how puffy her eyes were. Looks like she cried the most. "Yeah, we're so glad that you're not dead.", said Ariana. Willow pushed her and we all stared at Ariana. "Ari, why the hell would you say that ?", asked Willow a little loud. "Sorry.", she says embarrassed.

"I say we should all go out on a date. All four couples.", says Jason putting his arm around me. "I'm down for that.", I say looking up at him. "But two of us aren't a real couple yet.", said Jaden holding up two fingers. "One of them would be if they would just ask.", said Ariana rolling her eyes at Jaden. Jaden then got on one knee and grabbed Ariana's hand.

"Ari baby be mine ! Be my girlfriend please ! I'm begging you !", he says kissing her hands over and over. She snatched her hand away from him. "I will you dork. You didn't have to be so damn extra about it.", she said while Jaden stood up and kissed her cheek. "Then its official. Next weekend we're gonna have a date night.", says Jason.

Everyone cheered and hugged each other. Jaden and Ariana left to go do you know what, Za went with Hailey to go register at this college, and Willow went to pick up Khalil and take him to pick up his car. All that was left was me and Jason. It was an awkward but cute silence. Then, I tried to lay down on the bed but my bruises began to hurt. "Let me help you babe."

He helped me get into the bed. I rolled over and Jason stood at the bed. He looked like he was uncomfortable in the room. He was about to get ready to leave. "Looks like you need some rest so I'm just gonna go.", he says putting his hand on the doorknob. "No Jason, stay please ?"

"Don't you want me to ?", he asked. I shook my head. "No, stay with me Jason.", I say. He nodded and took off his jacket. He placed it down and then sat in my lounge chair. I was hesitant but I wanted to cuddle with Jason. "Can you lay with me ?"

"Sure babe.", he says laying on the bed next to me but not before he took his shirt off. "I just feel comfortable with you next to me.", I say. "I understand." Jason climbed in the bed next to me. I laid facing him. I was under the covers. I coughed to show Jason that he needs to get up under the covers too. I looked him in the eyes. He looked me back in mine.

I couldn't help myself. I needed his lips on mine. They were calling me. He put his hands on face. I felt so loved and protected. A feeling I haven't felt in years. It was Jason. He was the one for me. I'm for sure he his. He made me feel great about myself. The love he has for me makes me know that everything's gonna be alright.
