1. A Miracle Made by Another

Bloom's POV

I was walking down the stairs when I saw Sky standing there with his arms behind his back.

"How did you sleep?" he asked, smiling and winking.

"Perfect," I replied, just as he turned around and revealed flowers in his hand. I was shocked, but I gently took them and smelled them.

"They're beautiful!" I smiled, giggling.

"Glad you like them. Come with me; I need to take you somewhere," he said, taking my hand.

"Where to?" I asked, worried. Is he going to kill me...?

He had a sneaky smile on his face. He's not going to kill me, is he?

I gently followed him outside. To my surprise, I saw all the girls and boys waiting for me by the Alfea fountain.

"I was wondering where you all went," I said, joining them with Sky.

"We wanted to keep it a surprise," Musa replied, smiling and touching Riven's chest.

"Yeah, no spoilers," Flora added gently.

"Are you sure?" I asked, laughing.

"Yeah!" everyone yelled, giggling.

"Come on, Bloom!" Sky called, holding my waist.

"Where are we going?" I asked, worried.

"A little walk," he told me. I nodded, and we all laughed.

Sky gripped my hand as we all walked into the woods. I smiled, knowing I was safe in Sky's arms.

Ten minutes passed, and as we walked deeper into the forest, I started feeling tired and dizzy. But I shrugged it off-maybe it was just my imagination.

Suddenly, Sky let go of my hand, and the girls and boys separated into two groups-us on one side, them on the other.

"So, how was your night, Stella?" Musa asked, curious.

"Well, Brandon took me out to dinner last night," Stella smirked.

"Timmy took me out," Tecna said, folding her arms.

"And you, Bloom?" Aisha asked, smiling and smirking at me.

"I wasn't feeling up to a party last night," I replied slowly.

"Are you okay?" Aisha asked, feeling my forehead.

"Yeah, why?" I asked, confused.

"Normally, you wouldn't miss a date with Sky," Tecna added, wondering why.

"He was busy, and I wasn't feeling up to it," I said gently.

As we walked on, I started feeling worse. I stopped and looked down.

"Bloom, are you okay?" Sky asked, noticing I was lagging behind.

"Um, yeah, I think..." I muttered, worried.

"Then come on," he said, smiling. I slowly nodded, closed my eyes, and walked toward them gently.

"You sure?" Helia asked, noticing I was hiding something.

"Yeah, don't worry," I told him, but suddenly I blacked out.

2. A Feeling I Wasn't Normal

"Bloom!" Sky yelled. I woke up, finding myself in the infirmary, with everyone looking down at me.

"Bloom, are you okay?" I heard Nabu ask, concerned.

"Um, yeah... How did I get here?" I asked, holding my head.

"You fainted, and Sky carried you back," Brandon said, smiling at Sky.

"Am I okay?" I asked, feeling pressure on my head.

"We don't know. Ofelia took some tests," Timmy replied, looking at me.

"What tests?" I asked, worried.

"Blood tests," Sky said slowly.

"Oh," I muttered.

"Don't worry, she said your color's back, and you woke up on your own," Stella told me, which confused me. For once, she listened to Ofelia. Normally, she only went to sneak out a test.

We were seniors at Alfea-more like teachers now. We'd been here for 10 years, and we were all 26, except Stella and Timmy, who were 27.

We were all engaged to our boyfriends but hadn't gotten married yet. There was still too much on our minds, and we didn't know if marriage was the right step yet.

Suddenly, Ofelia rushed in with a file, looking upset, stressed, and worried. What did I do? Was I okay?

"Everyone, I need to speak with Bloom alone," she started, but I cut her off.

"No, it's okay. They can stay. Is everything okay?" I asked, trying to sound calm, though I was starting to worry.

"Bloom, are you sure? This is kind of private..." she trailed off.

"They're my friends. It's okay," I said with a smile, though I was beginning to worry more.

"Okay then, Bloom, I know you didn't have any intercourse with Sky, so, um... yeah," she said, shyly.

"Wait, what! Why would I do that? I'm not irresponsible!" I yelled, freaking out.

"I know you're not, but Bloom... your test shows you're carrying a healthy 2-week-old baby, and I think it's from your Dragon," she replied, as I felt the world go silent except for my breathing.

"I can't be!" I shouted, holding my head, not looking at anyone.

"You're what?!" everyone yelled. I looked at Sky, and he was just as speechless. I stared at the door and ran out, feeling like crying. The tears started falling. Why is my power doing this to me? Why? I cried as I reached my room, slammed the door, and fell onto my bed, mumbling, Why?

Meanwhile (Stella's POV)

"Are you sure?" Musa yelled, holding onto a chair.

"Yes, and I don't know why," Ofelia replied, looking worried.

"I didn't do anything! I wouldn't do that until we're both ready," Sky said, embarrassed.

"I know, Sky. That's why I knew something was up. I've heard that the Dragon can give life to its holders for two reasons," Ofelia said.

"What reasons?" I yelled, starting to worry. Bloom must be in so much pain right now.

"First, to become stronger, and second, to endure the child forever," she explained slowly.

"That doesn't make any sense!" Brandon yelled, and I nodded in agreement.

"Poor Bloom," Nabu mumbled, and we all nodded in agreement.

"She's going to have a hard time now, Sky. She needs you. I know this baby will complicate your relationship, but try to make it work," Ofelia said, looking at Sky gently.

"I know, and it's not Bloom's fault. If she wants to keep the baby, so will I," Sky said, and we all looked at each other and smiled.

Sky must be a great person, and if Bloom keeps this baby, they'll be the most amazing parents.

Sky's POV

I wanted to see Bloom and make sure she was okay. The girls led me to her room. For once, they had their own room, but still the same dorm. I gently knocked while everyone looked at me.

I heard someone crying.

"Bloom, please let me in," I begged softly as they all looked at me sadly.

Nothing.

"Bloom, it's Sky. Please, I need to see you," I begged again.

Nothing.

"Bloom, listen, I know it was a shock, but we can do this. We can work it out. I know we're young, but maybe this will make our love stronger. I know you must be in shock, and I wish I could help, but you have to let me. I don't know how to help if you don't let me in. Please, Bloom, don't hurt yourself or the baby. We can be a family."

Suddenly, the door opened, and I felt Bloom in my arms. I gently smiled and held her tight as she whimpered.

"It's okay. I'm here."

"I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault."

"I know, but-"

"But nothing. We're in this together. We're engaged, so let's make it official."

"But-"

"I know you're not ready. I'll give you time to think, but I love you, and this won't change that."

"You mean it?"

"Yeah. I just want to know why your Dragon gave you a child."

"I don't know. I'd like to know too."

"Anyway, don't worry. I want to be the perfect dad."

"Sky, listen-"

"And I know you'll be the perfect mom."

"I'm not going to keep it."

"What? Why?"

"Sky! I'm too young, and I don't see a future with a child."

"Bloom, you can't get rid of that baby."

"I'm not going to kill it!"

"Then how are you going to get rid of it?"

"Sky, I... I don't know," Bloom muttered, starting to cry again.

"Listen, think about it. There's plenty of time, but remember, it's a living being inside you, and it has a mind of its own."

She nodded, and I wiped away her tears. I looked at her stomach-was she really pregnant? It was small.

"Want to have some ice cream?"

She raised an eyebrow at me, and I went from cute to dumbfounded.

"I'm going to go with 'no.'"

"It would be lovely."

"Really?"

"Really!" We both burst out laughing, and everyone followed behind us.
