episode five ~ 100 days

"You wanna come in?" Gia asked, looking up at Niccolo, who had driven her home after school ended.

"I have to talk to Brando," Nicco said, putting his hands into his pockets.

"Alright, you got this," Gia said, smiling up at him.

They stared at each other for a moment, before Gianna raised on her tippy toes and placed a gentle kiss on Nicco's lips.

"Bye," she whispered against his lips, smile on her face.

"Bye," he said, walking backwards, keeping his eyes on her, not looking back when suddenly he bumped into someone.

"Watch where you're going, pillock," a red-haired girl glared at him, rolling her eyes and angrily stomping away.

Nicco, who didn't even have the time to apologise to the girl, looked at Gia, who stared at him with her lips pursed, trying not to laugh.

"You should really watch where you're going," Gia told him, finally letting out a laugh. Nicco laughed with her, before saying his final bye and this time actually turning around and watching where he's headed.

Gia turned around, shaking her head in amusement and still chuckling slightly. She walked towards her front door with smile in her face, her gaze trained on her keys, trying to find the right one.

A pair of black shoes appeared in her vision. Furrowing her eyebrows, she raised her head.

Ludovica Storti, her missing best friend, stood in front of her.

Gia froze for a second before she ran up to her best friend, embracing her into a tight hug, squeezing her.

"Where the hell were you?" Gianna glared at her, shoving Ludo slightly, after they pulled away.

"I missed you too," Ludo laughed and rolled her eyes jokingly.

"You know I missed you, Ludo. God, I was so worried about you, we all were," Gia told her, putting hands on her face, turning it side to side, checking for any marks or bruises on her face.

"I'm fine. I was fine," Ludo said, pulling Gia's hands away from her face, grimacing.

"Were you with Fiore?"

"Yeah. I didn't know that he paid the psycho to follow me," Ludo admitted, shaking her head. "If I knew I never would have gone with him, anywhere."

"I'm so glad you're back," Gia said, pulling Ludo back into a hug. "Don't ever try to run away again. Not without letting me know first, at least."

Ludo laughed, pulling away, "of course. I see you and Nicco have made up?"

Gianna blushed and looked away from Ludo.

"You're blushing," Ludo pointed out, grinning at her.

Gia looked back at her, "I don't know what we are," she shrugged. "But I really like him."

Ludo squeeled, grabbing Gianna's hands, "I'm so happy for you. We should go on the 100 days trip," she said. "You, me and Chia. All of us. Have fun, while we can," she said, giving Gia a puppy eyed look. "Niccolo will be there, I'm sure."

"You don't have to try to convince me with Niccolo," Gia rolled her eyes, grin on her face. "Of course I'm gonna go. But, I will ask Nicco if he's going too, just so we're sure," she said, both her and Ludo laughing.

"Come on, you have to fill me in about everything that happened while I was gone," Ludo said as she looped her arm through Gianna's.

Gia looked at her with disbelief. "I have to fill you in?" She raised her eyebrows at her. "Ludo you were the one who disappeared without a word!"

"So let me get this straight, you want to draw horror comics?" Chiara asked Ludo, as the trio walked along the beach. Like Ludo wanted, all three of them have gone on the 100 trip and everything was going well.

Ludo filled them both in about her disappearance. She also admitted how after passing her exam, she wants to study art abroad in France. Both girls being very surprised Ludo even knew how to draw, since she never showed them any of her creation or even talked about liking drawing.

Chiara filled Ludo in about her parent's reaction at the video she posted, admitting she is Emma and Gia filled Ludo in about her situation with Niccolo.

"Sorry but since when did you know how to draw?"

"Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing, you've never told me," Gia added, looking at Ludo.

"Actually, for a while now. Fabio saw my drawing and said they were really good," Ludo admitted.

"You have to show us someday!" Gia exclaimed.

"And why did Fabio see your drawing first?" Chiara jokingly asked. "I'm so offended!" She jokingly shoved Ludo.

"So am I!" Gia said, joining in.

"You guys are pain in the ass!" Ludo laughed, shoving them away from her. "Oh, look!" She exclaimed, running ahead of the girls, towards the volleyball net, grabbing a ball on the ground.

"You're crazy!" Chiara laughed.

"Let's play! I love volleyball," Gianna said, running towards Ludo. It's been quite a while since Gia held a voleyball ball in her hands, but hopefully she still had the talent that she used to have in secondary school.

Chiara joined them playing the volleyball, all three of them laughing.

"Out!" Ludo shouted at Chiara.

"No!" Chiara complained when she hit the ball, but it didn't fly over the net.

"Chia, you're so bad at this, why am I on your team?" Gia complained, laughing.

"That was unfair, Chia," Ludo complained.

"No it was out!" Chiara defended, "right?" She asked, looking at Gianna next to her.

"Yeah, totally out," Gia nodded.

Not at all.

Slowly Brando and Fabio came to join them. Both of them joined Ludo, and Brando exchanged what you could call a peace gesture with Ludo.

From the corner of her eye, as Gia played, she could see Niccolo coming up behind her. She turned her head around, looking at him. She gave him a smile, which he returned and joined their game.

"Good one, Nicco!" Gia called out. She gave him a double high five and then interlocked their fingers for a while, before pulling away.

"Gia," Nicco grabbed her hand after a while of playing, now without Chiara.

Instead of saying anything, he pulled her away from where they had been playing volleyball and she let him.

"Oh come on! You two are leaving too? Who am I supposed to play with?" Fabio complained, groaning.

Gianna laughed, "I'm sorry!" She turned around, walking hand in hand with Niccolo away from the net. "So dramatic," she rolled her eyes, grinning.

Nicco pulled her to a stop, making her look at him.

"What's up?" She asked, smiling.

Niccolo shook his head, smile on his face. "Nothing. I just wanted you for myself, for a while."

"Yeah?" She asked, her heart beating hard in her chest. Which seemed to be happening a lot around him.

"Yeah," he said, looking at her. "Come here," he said, pulling her towards him.

Putting an arm around her waist, he leaned down and pressed him lips against hers, both of them smiling against the other's lips.
