"Finally!" Gianna groaned as she watched her two best friends come out to the school balcony.

"You're being dramatic, I've left you alone for two minutes," Ludo rolled her eyes at Gia with a smile.

Gia pointed a finger at her, "that's a long ass time."

Ludo lit herself a cigarette, passing the lighter to Gia, lighting up her joint she passed Ludo's lighter back to her, giving her a quick thanks.

"Spill," she told Chiara, looking at her, leaning over the railing.

"He was really nice," she started, looking st her friends. "He treated me like.. like a grown up," she shrugged. "Then we went back to his place."

"What?" Ludo asked, standing up little straight in shock.

"What?!" Gianna accidently shouted, choking and coughing making other people on the balcony look at the group weirdly. Clearing her throat, she said, "sorry, what?" This time more quietly.

Chiara chuckled at their reactions.

"You don't even know him," Ludo told her, Gia nodding her head in agreement, pointing into Ludo's direction to say the same without actually having to saying while she put the joint to her lips.

"He's normal guy," Chiara defended.

"He had to pay for sex, that doesn't scream normal to me," Gia shrugged at Chiara's glare.

"Relax, you guys. I was fine," she told them, seeing unconvinced looks from her friends. "I swear, I wasn't even scared."

"Did you do it?" Ludo asked with a grin on her face.

Chiara looked deep in thought, "it was nice. I knew exactly what I was doing," she gave Gia a look who unlike Ludo still looked unconvinced.

"So it went well?"

"Yeah," Chiara answered Ludo and a second later she reached into her pocket, pulling out an envelope with the name 'Emma' wrote on it. "Then he gave me this. I don't know."

Ludo took it from her hands, Gia leaned closer to her over Chiara's shoulder to look inside.

"Listen, it went well. So, fuck it, okay? No regrets," Ludo encouraged her.

Out of nowhere Chiara placed her hands over Ludo's mouth, looked at Gia and placed her other hand's finger against her own lips to signal her to be quiet as she listened to a conversation Damiano and Fabio had below them.

"We'll spend it all this afternoon," Ludo whispered to both the girls. "Then you won't have to think about it."

Chiara nodded and Ludo smiled at her, kissing her cheek then going over to Gia kissing her cheek to she smiled at both of them before walking away.

While Chiara continued to listen in to the conversation that was happening below them, Gia's mind trailed off.

She started thinking about what it would be like for her if she went on a date with the guy Saverio wanted to hook her up with.

Would it be a like Chiara's date, a sexy, tall, dark and handsome guy with who you hook up with and have the best night of your life? Or like Ludo's a little weird but cute boring date that you wish was over? Or would it be something completely different from those two?

"Gia," Chiara's finger appeared in front of Gia's face, making her snap out of her thoughts. "I'm going," she said, giving her a brief kiss onto her cheek she quickly left.

Gia shook away her confusion, not having an idea why she was in such a hurry to leave.

————

"I'm getting transferred to a public school," Ludo said as she and Gia made their way out of school.

"What?" Gia exclaimed, stopping in her tracks.

"Yup," Ludo stood in front of her with poker face, yet in reality she was so close to crying. "My mother apparently didn't pay my school fees and isn't answering her phone when Fedeli calls," Ludo explained. "I gave her six grand for the fucking school fees, do you get it? Six grand and I don't fucking know where she put it, because she sure as hell didn't put it into my studies," Ludo said with anger in her voice.

"Oh, Ludo," Gia sighed, reaching for the girl she pulled her into a tight hug. Pulling her away by the shoulders, she looked into her eyes, wiping few fallen tears.

"I can talk to my parents, I'll explain the situation-" Gia started to say but Ludo cut her off.

"No, no, no," Ludo shook her head. "They wouldn't-" this time it was Gia who didn't let Ludo answer.

"I'll just pretend it's for me, or I'll steal some-"

"Gia! You're not going to steal money from your parents for me, geez," Ludo widened her eyes. "I'll talk to my mom, then we'll talk about plan B. Maybe it's just a misunderstanding," Ludo shrugged.

Gia nodded, "okay. I just really don't want you to go to a public school. Chiara and I would miss you here."

————

Gia and Ludo set on a couch in one of the stores where they had decided to spend all the money Chiara had made by going on a date with Alessandro.

"Do you like it?" Chiara asked, holding a tiny dress in front of her.

"It's gorgeous," Ludo said giving her thumbs up.

Gia nodded, "try it on." Chiara smiled at them and went into a changing room.

"Saverio texted," Ludo said to Gia, looking into her phone.

Gia turned her head to look at Ludo, "what does he want? Another date?" She made a look.

Ludo shook her head, but didn't say anything, instead she raised her head from her phone and called out to Chiara, "are you still alive in there?"

Chiara walked out and Ludo whistled, "Did you hear that? He whistled at you," she joked, moving with the stuffed bear that sat between Gianna and Ludovica.

"Wow, you look gorgeous, Chia," Gia complimented, looking her up and down.

"It's such a skimpy dress," Chiara said unsurely.

"A skimpy dress that look divine on you," Ludo told her.

"Honestly," Gia added nodding her head.

"Saverio has just invited us to a party tomorrow night," Ludo said, looking at both the girls to see their reaction. "If you go wearing that, you'll turn heads," Ludo told Chiara.

"At his club?"

"No, a secret location," Ludo grinned. While Chiara grinned and turned back around to look at herself in the mirror, Gia widened her eyes and looked at Ludo.

"Wait what? What location?" Gia asked, nervous out of a sudden.

"A secret location," Ludo rolled her eyes.

"You actually don't know?" Gia furrowed her eyebrows.

"No," Ludo simply said.

Shaking her head, "does that not bother either of you?" She glanced between her friends.

"Not really," Chiara shrugged. While Ludo shook her head in a no.

Sighing, Gia leaned back into the couch.

————

"Great, you're home," Gia's dad called out from the dining room as soon as Gia shut the door behind her.

Furrrowing her eyes, she took off her shoes and walked towards the dining room, "what's going on?"

"We're having a family dinner," Rosa grinned at her as she set up a table. "You're just in time."

"Sit down," Marco told her, pulling a out a chair for her.

Rolling her eyes, she placed her bag next to the doorway of the dining room and sat down onto the chair her father has pulled out for her. "Thanks," she muttered.

Marco pulled out a chair for Rosa too and then sat down next to her.

They ate in silence, before her father broke it by asking, "so who were you out with?"

"You're not gonna like that answer," she said, keeping her eyes trained on the plate before her.

"Ludovica, again?" Her mother asked her with narrowed eyes.

Marco placed his hand on hers, "it's alright for you to hang out with Ludovica. Just be careful, and don't let her convince you to do something you don't feel like doing."

Gia rolled her eyes and shook her head slightly, but didn't say anything.

After another few seconds of silence, Gia finished eating and looked at her dad and Rosa who watched her and immediately averted their gazes.

"Okay, what is it?" Gianna asked annoyed.

Rosa started shaking her head with a nervous smile, but Marco sighed and started talking before Rosa could say anything.

"We want to move," he started and Gia's eyes widened. "Not right not, obviously, since I'm not allowed to leave the country yet. But once I'm completely free, we thought it'd be nice to see what it's like to be somewhere else than in Italy."

Gianna started shaking her head, smile on her lips at the ridiculousness of the situation. "No," she chuckled. "I'm not moving anywhere."

"Anna," her father started.

"I'm not moving," she stated more firmly.

"You're saying that now," Rosa joined the comversation. "But maybe you'll change your mind about it once you're actually in Monaco."

Gia raised her eyebrows, "oh so, it's all planned already? Have you picked out a house yet?" She sarcastically asked, getting up from the table.

"Gianna sit back down," her father strickly said, once Gia made a move to leave he got up too and tugged at her hand to stop her from leaving.

"We're going to Monaco in the summer, to check it out. You're going to come with us," he told her.

Rolling her eyes, Gia waited until her father let go of her arm before going to her room and locking it behind herself.
