= WAKING UP REFRESHED. Madison was skipping in front of the group that began walking through the jungle. Humming a soft lullaby while Renee walks beside Bumble on the left side of the girl.
"We're heading for the coast, that's probably will be where we meet your parents." Alan informs Eric who was bouncing in eagerness to see his parents.
"Will you come with us Madison?" The named female spins on her heels when she jumping onto an outgrown tree root. White eyes staring down at the young boy.
"I've got to look after Zion and the Smilodons Eric." Madison jumps down, crouching down to the boys height while ruffling his dark brown hair. "After all, who else would do it?" She smiles.
"I would guess, they'd help look after one another." Eric says, patting Bumble's head then doing the same to Renee.
"The reason for my birth was to work with Hammond and because his life dream failed... I need to protect what he failed to protect." Madison explains. Her face still for a moment before she shows a wide smile, laughing then clapping her hands. "We're off to find Eric's parents, Alan's colleague and then I'm shipping you all away."
With that, she heads off. Stopping when they all heard something -well mostly Eric and Madison- those who heard it froze.
A phone was ringing near them, very faint but still easy to hear if you were quiet. "That's my dads phone!" Eric shouts, immediately rushing off somewhere in the direction from where the noise came from. Chasing him was both humans and the two Smilodons.
"Eric!" They hear Amanda's voice crying aloud.
"Mum! Dad!" They all sprint from the bushes, finding a large cage wall curling inwards to them. Eric ran faster with Alan when they saw other people running to the same one on the other side.
"Mum!" Eric laughs, the mother weaving through the nets and hugging their son desperately. With this reunion, Alan stretches an arm through the net and shakes Billy's hand.
"You've got my bag." Billy points out.
"I know, figured it's a lucky bag." Alan chuckles, stepping back to look over the fence. Through our all this, Madison stands, eyes looking around.
"Where's Ezra?" Madison asks the trio.
"Amanda here shot Ezra, thinking he was a velociraptor." Billy informs Madison, her body freezing while Amanda looks away. Paul rubbing her back.
"You did. What!?" Madison shouts, sprinting forward. Swiping the females front collar and pulling her against the ropes.
"She didn't mean too Madison!" Alan shouts, peeling Madison off from Amanda. She wiggles about in his hold.
"She shot him! Ezra was shot by that woman!" Madison yells, shoving herself out from the Paleontologist's arms. Bumble and Renee looks up to the worrying woman.
"He could be hurt, where did she shoot him?" Madison asks the three. Jaw clenched in irritation.
"Around the chest-" Paul was stopped when his ex-wife placed her hand over his face. Scowling, Madison glares at them.
"I'm going to fucking kill you woman!" Madison screams. Hands gripping her pink and purple hair while Renee snaps at Alan trying to approach and calm her. Paw slicing through the air with a harsh growl.
'He's hurt and I'm not there' Madison repeats in her head as everything felt like it was spinning. Hands presses against her ears as she drops to her knees onto the ground. Head pressing into the ground.
"Madison-! You need to get up." Alan grabs the girl, pulling her up roughly as they all began running. Madison just wanted to stop and sleep, worry building up in her gut continuously.
"Ezra..." Madison whispers as she is pushed through a hatch. Just as a Spinosaur's jaw chips at the girls hair and clothes.
"Ezra, that's a suitable name I believe." Ian picks up the cub and cradles it, feeling the creature mewl and swipe their paws across his face but fail to do so.
Shaking her head. She couldn't think about that right now. Turning, she see's the family of three embracing one another while Billy and Alan shake each others hands.
Renee nudges their sibling, Bumble who looks to their sister then to Madison with the baby-doe eyes.
Their peace was short lived as the Spinosaur runs straight through the cage, ending up on their side and so everyone sprints to a nearby shelter. Madison transforms into a velociraptor, grabbing the clothes of an exhausted Eric.
Running inside, once everyone was safe. Billy, Alan and Paul shoves a locks the door close. Madison transforms back and places Eric safely on the ground, hearing the bangs of the Spinosaurus trying to get in and walks away.
"You want to give me the bag back." Billy confronts Alan who was scouring out the area through the broken windows. One where Madison peers out, leaning her elbows against the windowsill.
"I'll keep it longer." Alan waves him off.
"Give me the bag." Billy says, more demanding. Confusing the Paleontologist who turns to him.
Cautiously, opening the bag. "Raptor eggs... did you steal raptor eggs?" Alan asks, eyeing the boy with disbelief.
Sighing, Alan turns his head. Disbelief and betrayal written all over his face as he licks his dry lips. "Now it all makes sense."
"If I had known you would end up them." Billy starts, looking off to the pink and purple headed individual creeping forward. "I took them on impulse, I thought they would be sold for a fortune. Enough to find the dig site."
"You have to believe me, I did this stupid thing with the best intentions." Billy tells his older colleague. Alan closing the bag with a gulp of whatever was in his throat.
"Some of the worst things imaginable, have been done with the best intentions." Alan sneers. Hand lifting up to rub roughly across his face.
"As far as I am concerned, you are no better than the people who built this place." His words struck cords with Billy, the boy noticing a stop he forced upon Madison as she drops her hand that was lifting up. Eyes narrowing at the man and she steps backwards.
Alan walks towards the window, oblivious to the stare he receives from both Billy and Madison. The girl looking back to the two creatures who mewls.
'No better than the people who built this place.'
Hitching a breath, Madison stumbles up the stairs that leads to the tiny upstairs room. Sinking her back down the wall, the air hitting her skin.
"Freak!" The teens on the other side of the street yells, boisterous laughters falling out their mouths as Madison crouches down and picks the littered object.'
Her hands presses against her chest with heavy breathes. Pure white eyes wide with confusion and worry.
Leaning down, sharp teeth digs into the back of the white skinned dinosaur. Blood seeping through the wounds that causes the giant animal to roar with pain, tail unconsciously hitting the truck nearer to the edge where Alan has Lex thrown onto his back and began climbing a rope downwards down the wall.
Grunting, the white skinned creature pushes themselves to their feet and turns their head to bite down on the opponents head. Pulling them away, forcing the teeth to take any flesh with it before she began brutally slashing at the T-Rex's face. Roaring out loud in anger. Growling furiously when the t-rex takes multiple steps back, eyes narrowing at the animal in front of them.
Pulling her sleeve, Madison presses her hand against her mouth. Teeth unconsciously sinking into her hand until she pulls away and rummages urgently through her bag.
"WHAT!?" Ian yells in shock and disbelief. "You didn't bother to tell me Madison!?"
"I found her when I was attacked." Madison answers, hissing when Tony pressed on her leg gash.
"Could've still told me!"
"I was about to!"
"She's my child! Could've told me when I got here!"
"I would've if I had enough- God damn! Time!" Madison yells, having been interrupted when Tony helps with her wound. He looks up to the girl and then back to Ian who has a furious look on his face.
'You're no better than the people who built this place.' The words repeats, she hadn't even heard people calling out her name from down below.
"We've simply made her more of our property." Peter Ludlow laughs. Turning the light off. "Now, when they do see the target. They'd attack them without hesitation up until the lasers vanished."
Closing her eyes, Madison breathes heavily as she recollects her thoughts. All the memories lingering for a few moments, lifting her hand, she uses her thumb to wipe some tears.
"Ezra, that's a suitable name I believe." Ian picks up the cub and cradles it, feeling the creature mewl and swipe their paws across his face but fail to do so.
"Madison! Are you up there?" Alan shouts up from the bottom of the stairs.
"Y-Yea, I'm fine!" Madison responds, wiping away any strained tears and stands to her feet. Grabbing hold of her bag and goes down the stairs, finding everyone ready to get going somewhere.
"Where are we going now?"
