Chapter 1

Third Person POV.

It was a beautiful day, birds were singing, the sky was blue, and Alexander was MAD.

Alexander just realized that George was leaving for France.

"Mr. Washington sir! You can't leave! This country needs you!" Alex said.

"Son-" George starts.

"I'm not your son." Alex interrupts.

George sighed, "I didn't have a honeymoon because of work. I'm going. I need a break from work."

Alex said nothing, he felt a little bad for yelling at George. He was about to leave.

"Wait," George said, "Just so you know, while I'm gone, Mr. Jefferson will be in charge."

"Jefferson?! What? Why him!?" Alex says.

"I know you and Mr. Jefferson are not friends, but maybe if I leave him in charge you guys can get along." George says.

Alex grumbled, "Fine."

"Alright, you are dismissed, you can go home." George says.

"Ok.." Alex says.

Alex walks out of George's office. He walks back to his own office. Then he bumped into something.

Or someone.

Alex fell down, the person he bumped into came down after. "Ow- shit." Alex says.

"Hamilton?!" Thomas says, "Ugh. I shouldn't be surprised. You run into everything."

"Oh Jefferson. Shut up and get off of me already." Alex says.

"Hmm.. nah, I think I like right here. On top of you." Thomas says.

"G- get off of me!" Alex stuttered, his face was red from what Thomas said.

"Alright, alright. Sorry darlin'." Thomas says.

"Don't call me that Jefferson, just get off of me and let me go home!" Alex says angrily.

"Ok, ok. Jeez." Thomas says. He get up off of Alex and just leaves without even lending Alex a hand.

Alex gets up. He just immediately leaves the office and goes to his car. He starts the car and starts to head home.

~Timeskip~

Alex pulled into the driveway of his house that he currently shared with his boyfriend.

Alex walked outside the car and into the house.

"John! I'm home!" Alex said. 'At least I can come home to my boyfriend, now I don't have to worry about Jefferson..'

John came running over too Alexander and quickly hugged him.

"Babe! Hi!" John said.

"Hi John! How are ya?" Alex says.

"I'm gooood.." John says, he pulls away from Alex just enough so he can give Alex a kiss. Alex kissed John back.

"So, how was your day?" Alex says.

"Good! Yours?" John replies.

"Mine was.. ok.. I guess." Alex says

John looked at his watch, he quickly backed away from Alex, "Erm- sorry babe! I have to go I'll see you later!" John said.

"What? Where are you-" Alex started but John ran behind him and out the door.

Alex was really confused, but he shrugged it off and went to go lay down on the couch. He could finally just relax.

He didn't really relax that often, but it was so nice when he did.

He relaxed and caught up on the sleep he missed. Surprisingly, he slept peacefully for two hours.

When he woke up, he thought John would be home, but he wasn't.

Alex began to worry, he freshened himself up then went out to find John. He decided to go to Aaron Burr's house.

Aaron was one of John's friends, they told each other everything-

Alex got to Aaron's house and knocked on the door. Aaron answered.

"Alexander! Hello!" Aaron says.

"Hi Aaron!" Alex replied.

"So what beings you here?" Aaron asks.

"Well I came to ask if you know where John is." Alex says.

"Oh! He told me he was with Peggy today!" Aaron says.

"Peggy? Oh, ok, thanks-" Alex says.

"Anytime man!" Aaron says.

Alex nodded and left Aaron's house. He raced over to the Schuyler's house.

Once he got there he quickly knocked. Then Angelica  answered.

"Hi Alexander." Angelica says.

"Hey Angelica.." Alex replies, last time he saw Angelica they had a fight and it was bad.

"Why are you here?" Angelica said sternly.

"Is.. John here?" Alex asked.

"Yeah, with Peggy. Upstairs, second room to the right." Angelica says, inviting Alex in.

Alex goes in, upstairs and to the second room on the right. He busts into the room.

Alex was speechless. It took a second to comprehend what was happening.

John Laurens, his boyfriend, the only person he thought cared for him was kissing Peggy Schuyler.

"I- John- Peggy-" Alex stutters.

John and Peggy pulled apart, Peggy ran out of the room.

"A- Alex, babe, why are you here..?" John says.

"Don't call me 'babe' John. You were gone for 2 hours. Just cheating on me? We are done. You have Peggy now, don't come home, don't talk to me ever again." Alex says.

"A- Alex! No please! I'm sorry!" John pleads.

"No. Good bye John." Alex says. He angrily walks out of the room, down the stairs and out the door.

Instead of going home, he goes to office at work, his safe place.
