Chapter 2

Alexander's POV.

~

Well, today was just great. Thomas is basically in charge of me, John was cheating on me, ugh.

This day can't get any worse? Right?

"Hamilton? Why are you here?" Jefferson said coming into my office.

Dammit. He's the last person I wanted to see today. I quickly wiped the tears off my eyes and then looked up at Jefferson.

"Are you.. crying?" Jefferson said.

"No! Nope! I'm fine! Just go away." I quickly say.

"That's not the way you talk to your boss y'know?" Thomas says.

"Your not my boss." I say.

"Washington put me in charge, I'm your boss." Jefferson said, "Now tell me what's wrong?"

"No! It's my personal life!" I say.

"Cmon.. pleasee." Jefferson begs. Honestly, why does he want to know so much? He is so nosy. It's not a big deal if I tell him though, right?

"Fine." I sighed, "Come in..". Jefferson smirked he came in and sat down on the couch by the window in my office.

I got up and sat next to Jefferson. I can't believe I was doing this, Jefferson is one of my enemies. Then again, I really don't have anyone to talk to about this.

I sat by Jefferson in silence for a little, then I finally said something, "Well, today I was coming home from my regular work hours, John, my.. boyfriend said hi then just left out of the blue. I took a nap for like 2 hours, and he still wasn't home. I got worried, he was at the Schuyler sisters house. I went there and he was kissing Peggy, the youngest sister, he.. cheated. I didn't know what to do so I came here."

"Wow.. that's a lot." Jefferson said. We then sat in silence for a little more.

Suddenly I felt Jefferson hug me. Honestly I was surprised, I thought he would make fun of me and leave..

"Thomas-" I say.

"All I'm doing is giving you a hug, don't make a big deal about it." Thomas says.

"Yeah yeah.. I know.." I say. I get off of Jefferson and go to my desk. "I think I'm just going to pack up and go.."

Jefferson frowned and then said, "Y'know, if your ever sad just.. come talk to me. I'll be here."

"Yeah, alright.." I say.

Jefferson gets up and comes over to me he pats my back and leaves.

I start packing up, once I'm done I leave. I go back to the house.

~At The House~

I open the front door, only to see, John.

"What are you doing here?!" I say.

"I came to talk with you.." John says.

"No! I want you get to get out!" I say.

"Alex please.." John says.

"Mm.. Fine. Tell me what you need to." I say.

"I'm sorry, I never ever meant to kiss Peggy. She just.. uhm.. just please, take me back! I'm so sorry!" John says.

"Your not sorry. Just get out." I say.

I want to forgive John but what if he does it again? Is he really sorry? I don't know..

John sighed then walked past me once more, he then left.

I put my stuff down and then I go up to my room. I lay down on my bed and slowly fall asleep.
