Chapter 2

Emma's POVToday is the day of the Carolina versus Houston game. I've been in Texas since Friday and it's now Sunday. I've already interviewed the Panthers players on my list and most of the Texans players. The only person I had left was JJ Watt.

"Mr. Watt, could I have a few minutes of your time? I'm a reporter ESPN." I said walking toward him. "Yeah of course." He said and we sat down.

I asked him about 10 questions. "Well, that'll be all. Thank you for your time." I said shaking him hand and we walked separate ways. "Wait!" I heard from behind me so I turned around to see JJ running towards me. "I never got your name." He said as he got to me. I giggled before responding. "Emma." I said and he smiled.

JJ's POVWow Emma is beautiful! I guess I was staring because she was waving her hand in front of my face. "JJ. JJ!" She said and I snapped out of my thoughts. "Oh sorry. Um... I'm JJ." I said and she laughed. "I know who you are." She said and we both laughed.

"Watt! Let's go!" Coach O'Brien yelled. I said bye to Emma and ran back on the field to warmup for the game.

After the gameEmma's POV"Hey shawtie! I heard from behind me. I turned around to see Cam and Luke walking up to me. "What to y'all want?" I jokingly said. I hugged both of them. "Damn. It must be that time of the month!" Luke joked and we all laughed. I then saw JJ walking up out of the corner of my eye.

"Hey y'all." He said as he shook Cam and Luke's hand. "Y'all played a hell of a game." He continued with a smile. "Thanks man. So did you." Cam said with a smile.

"Well, I'm gonna go. Y'all have a good day." JJ said. "You too." We all said in unison. "We're gonna go too. See you back in Charlotte." Cam said and they hugged me before walking away.

2 hours laterI just landed back in Charlotte and I'm so tired but I still have to go to work tomorrow. After I got my bags I went out to my car. When I was almost to it, I noticed somebody leaning against my can smoking. As I got closer I realized who it was. My ex...

I wasn't about to talk to him so I shoved him out of the way and closed and locked the door before he could say anything. The reason I wasn't gonna talk to him was because he cheated on my twice when we were dating and I was stupid to take him back after the first time he did.

When I got back to my apartment I threw my bags down and flopped on the bed. I was exhausted. I was about to fall asleep when I heard a knock on my door. I groaned and got up to answer it. When I opened the door I was completely surprised to see who was standing there.

"JJ?"
