Chapter 1

Emma's POV"Hey Emma, Mr. West needs you in his office." My coworker/ best friend, Ashton tells me. Mr. West is the boss so anytime you get called in, you get nervous. "Ok." I say and stand up to walk to his office.

When I get there, I knock on the door before walking in. "You needed to see me?" I said as I sat down in a chair in front of his desk. "Yes. I have an important question." Mr. West said. "Would you possibly want to go to Houston to cover the Texans verses Panthers game this weekend?" He asked and I was a little shocked. The only assignments he gives me is home Panthers games or Charlotte Hornets basketball home games. I never get asked to travel so this is different for me.

"I would love to!" I replied. "Great. You will need to leave tomorrow since tomorrow is Friday, that way you have enough time to interview as many players as possible. We made a list of some of the 'duh' players to interview." He said handing me a peice of folded paper.

Once we finished talking, it was about time for me to go home so I packed everything up and left. When I got home I unfolded the paper that Mr. West gave me.

I read over the list and laughed a little before setting the paper down and turning to see my dog, Max, who's a light brown and white pitbull, sitting right in front of me. "Are you hungry boy?" I ask playfully and he barks. I feed him and make me some dinner. I went to bed at about 9:30 so I could be well rested for tomorrow. **************New story! Just to clarify, I'm a die hard Carolina Panthers fan but I also love JJ Watt so ya know this is Watt I came up with. Ha get it?! (I have no life what so ever😂) and I apologize for any spelling errors or anything like that. My phone is shattered so it's kinda hard to see what I'm typing on one side😅
